Mikey eXtreme’s eyes sprung open as he looked up at the ceiling above the hotel bed that he was lying in. A few days had passed since the heartbreaking loss to Sidney J. Warwick at Slam 400. A match that Mikey needed to further his career, a match that sent Mikey’s mind racing down a dark twisted path.
The Gun is right there, Mikey thought as his eyes drifted from the ceiling to the luggage on the floor in the corner of the room. Right below the window was a black carry-on bag that was full of various things, including a Ruger LC9 and enough ammunition for Mikey to have to escape a hairy situation.
The days of the Dark Riders Gang, DRG MC, had prepared Mikey for anything. The amount of hairy situations they had found themselves in was the only preparation that Mikey had ever needed.
”Gonzo”
Mikey eXtreme: To my knowledge, there is only one other member of the Dark Riders that have found themselves inside the ropes of War. There is only one other member of the most dominant team in WCF history to compete in this match this year, but it will not go in their favor.
This is MY War. Not yours, Gonzo.
You were always ahead of me on the depth sheets of the DRG, but you did not belong there. You never belonged above me, because I was above all. I was the single greatest talent in the Dark Riders, and you all knew it. So you held me back, you held me out of the big matches to keep the spotlight on yourselves.
The famous trios team of Bates, Gonzo, and Gemini?
That should have been me. That should have been the King of Darkness, but it wasn’t. You took that spot, and you failed. You couldn’t cash in on the world title shot, and guess what? You’ll fail again this time, Gonzo. You will always fail.
But this time, I will cause that failure. The world will finally see what I have always known, that I was the star. I was the greatest member of the DRG, and that I am a true World Champion contender.
No longer will I be in the shadows of the Dark Riders, I am the Dark Rider. I am better than Thomas Uriel Bates. I am better than Gemini Battle, and I most certainly am better than Gonzo.
And that’s why I must defeat Gonzo. I must prove to the world that I am every bit of what I say I am, and beating him will go a long way. Eliminating Gonzo and retiring him will be a feather in the cap of eXtreme.
Trust me, Gonzo, this is the end for you. This is the end of your wrestling life, because I will defeat you and I will eliminate you from competition.
The gun sat in the bag, fully loaded, and Mikey’s mind wandered to the beauty it could cause. I could end it all right here, right now. The loss of the Omega Championship was hard on Mikey. It was a match that deep down, he knew he could win. He knew that he would win.
He lost. He didn’t belong in the WCF anymore, he didn’t belong anywhere. UCI wouldn’t even want him anymore, because he was nothing. He was garbage. He couldn’t win the big one, and everyone knew it. He could get these big matches, but he would never win them. His United States championship run was a fluke and he knew it.
He didn’t deserve that belt, he never did.
His mind drifted back and forth between ending it all, biting the bullet literally, and Vidalia. He wanted more. He needed more. He knew he was capable of so much more, but yet, he was unable to achieve more. He was unable to hold onto what he wanted the most.
Would Vidalia be the same way? Surely, he would lose her too.
Mikey rose from the bed, his eyes still on the black Chaps carry-on against the wall. His heart was pounding heavily in his chest, so much so that he thought that it would be visible to anyone that seen him. His breathing was frantic, and he was shaking.
Bite it. You’re nothing. You’ve always been nothing. His mind was eating away at him, the darkness was dark and Mikey was full of it, but he was also stronger than it.
Bomber
Mikey eXtreme: Bomber? Bomber. That’s honestly a person. Okay. Well, Bomber will bomb at War. Not the bombing that you would normally associate with War, but he will bomb nonetheless.
I will make sure of that.
He reached for the bag and lifted it, dropping it on the bed. It was heavy, but Mikey didn’t strain to pick it up. The weight was just enough that it wasn’t uncomfortable, but that you could tell that it was heavy.
Now I know why you've been shaking
Now I know why you've been shaking
Now I know why you've been shaking
Now I know why you've been shaking
Now I know why you've been shaking
Now I know why you've been shaking
Now I know why you've been shaking
He dropped it on the bed and his hand shakingly slid inside, he was looking for something. The gun? Maybe. But instead, he pulled out something far more powerful than the 9mm, he pulled out a picture of himself, Vidalia, and Freakshow. This was his family. This was what he was responsible for.
Championships meant nothing. War meant nothing. They were everything, specifically, Vidalia was everything. She was everything to him, at least. She was the reason he woke up in the morning. She was the reason that he went out there and battled everyone that stepped in his path. She was the reason he was alive, and she was the reason that he would continue to live.
He loved her. He loved her more than words could ever describe. She was as important as oxygen. She was the force that gave Mikey life. She made him feel like he could do anything, and perhaps he could. Perhaps he could dominate War, and perhaps he could prove once and for all that he was the greatest competitor that the WCF had ever seen.
And he was. He was always going to be the greatest competitor the WCF had ever seen because no matter what, he was going to compete. No matter what happened, he wasn’t going to let it hold him down. He was going to fight and he was going to win. He was going to win War.
So bleed your heart out
There's no more rides for free
Bleed your heart out
I said what's in it for me, what's in it for me
There's no more rides for free
Bleed your heart out
I said what's in it for me, what's in it for me
Shadowlove
Mikey eXtreme: The Handsome Half-breed. The UCI Television Champion. The former Nothing of WCF. That’s right people, the man who I was once forced to team with in a losing effort to #BeachKrew was never able to accomplish anything here. He was never able to win anything here.
So he ran.
He ran to easier competition. He ran to a place where you won a belt for just showing up and now look at him. Look at that UCI television strap around his waist. Look at how easy it is for the WCF Galaxy to forget a joke like Shadowlove.
God knows that I forgot his existence. Just like I know that he’ll be put down during this match. Just as I know that I stand far and above Shadowlove. Just as I know that this is a man who is getting too far in over his head. He doesn’t belong here. He doesn’t belong in the WCF ring because he honestly doesn’t belong here.
He deserves to stick to the minors. Stick to UCI, go win at Killing Floor or something like that. Don’t step inside my ring and think that that UCI belt around your waist is anything that matters. This is War, Shadowlove. This is your ultimate demise. This is where I put you out of your misery and I prove once and for all that I am God. That I am the King.
And this is where you leave the UCI again, once and for all. Humiliated and defeated. This is where you burn, Shadowlove. This is where you burn to the ground and trust me, when I say I’ll be the one to burn you down. I’ll be the one to take your soul. I’ll be the one that’s standing in the middle of that ring when this war is over.
He dropped the picture back into the bag and backed into the corner of the room. There was a brown chair there, which he sunk into. Vidalia was asleep on the other bed in the room. The bed they had shared the night before, and the bed they would share for the rest of the time they were in Japan. Mikey’s eyes shifted towards her, she was beautiful. He smiled, and then felt bed for the thoughts he had previously had.
How could I do that to her? How could he do that to himself? How could he even think about ending it all over the Omega championship? He could always redeem himself in War, he could always go out there and put on the show of a lifetime. He could always prove the world wrong. Prove that they didn’t know what they were talking about when they said he couldn’t win the big ones. That he choked when it mattered the most. That he was a fluke.
He was not a fluke.
Everything I've held is what I've freed
Everything I've held is what I've freed
Everything I've shown is what I feel
Buying lies and stealing jokes

Biding all the time you took
Everything I've held is what I've freed
Everything I've shown is what I feel
Buying lies and stealing jokes

Biding all the time you took
Hank Heron
Mikey eXtreme: Another of the WCF scum that doesn’t matter. Another guy that’s just in there, that doesn’t mean a goddamn thing. Another name that’s in there that has no chance at winning. Not because of their talent, or as in Hank’s case, a lack-thereof, but because I’m in the match.
The Backwoods Berserker cannot trespass inside the Kingdom eXtreme and expect to walk out with anything besides a few broken bones and a lengthy hospital stay. The Backyard Berserker gets nothing out of this match, he doesn’t even deserve his name placed on the list of entrants.
But, I will make him pay for this. I will make him pay for each and every mistake he has ever made in his poor life. This isn’t the world that Hank thinks it is. This isn’t a place that Hank can walk in there and dictate anything besides how badly I rip him limb from limb. This is a place where I get to dictate everything. This is where I get to rip Hank Heron limb from limb.
You don’t know what you’ve got yourself into Hank. You don’t understand how badly you’ve fucked up. You don’t understand that I have a point to prove. That I am going to put everything on the line in order to win this match. That I am going to go out there with the goal of ending each and every soul that I step up to.
So, stay away, Hank. Stay far away, because once I see you. Once I see that dumb smile of yours, that’s when your body gets shipped back to Point Pleasant in a bag.
Wahoooo!
Mikey laughs.
Vidalia’s eyes opened as she swung her arm around to where Mikey had been laying. Her head rose up when she felt that he was out of the bed and she began to scan the room for him. She smiled when their eyes met.
Vidalia: What are you doing over there?
Mikey wanted to tell her the truth, but he didn’t want her to worry. He didn’t want to scare her, so he lied.
Mikey eXtreme: Oh, nothing. Woke up a little while ago, couldn’t fall back to sleep. Was just thinking about War, I guess.
His eyes were wandering a bit, afraid that she would see that he was lying.
Vidalia: Well come back over here, you look.. scared.
She had never seen him that way. She had never known him to fear anything or anyone. But this was different. He was afraid of himself. He was afraid of what would happen if he lost again, afraid what would happen if he lost Vidalia.
He rose to his feet and walked to the bed. He sat at the foot of the bed and dropped his head.
Mikey eXtreme: I’m not scared, Vi. It’s just, I need to win this fucking thing. I can’t stand losing, especially to guys like Sidney J. Warwick. Guys that have no business beating me. Guys that I should have easily defeated, but guys that have found ways to beat me.
She frowned, he was the greatest in her mind no matter what happened in that ring.
Vidalia: Don’t beat yourself up, Michael. You go out there each and every week and you steal the show. You are the most dominant wrestler on this roster, win or lose.
But lose, Mikey did. He lost far too often to have any confidence. That’s why he had to win War. That’s why he had to dominate.
Greg St. Matthews
Mikey eXtreme: The return of some guy that I never heard of, only I guess I have heard of him, but god do I wish I hadn’t. There are some people that just don’t belong here, and Gregory is one of them.
Why come back for War if you weren’t good enough to be here in the first place? Are you going to somehow magically become something better than you were? Did you finally grow a pair? Highly doubtful. SO just stay away. Stay dead, because now that I have a chance to make that your reality, I will.
Now, you die.
Every word I said is what I mean
Everything I gave is what I need
Everything I've held is what I've freed
Everything I've shown is what I feel
Virgin eyes and dirty looks
On what I have and why I took
Counting all the hands I shook
Now I know why you've been shaking
Everything I gave is what I need
Everything I've held is what I've freed
Everything I've shown is what I feel
Virgin eyes and dirty looks
On what I have and why I took
Counting all the hands I shook
Now I know why you've been shaking
Vidalia shoved Mikey with her foot, and he got off the bed. He turned around to see her smiling big, and it melted his heart.
Vidalia: You just gonna stand there, or you gonna do something about it?
Mikey smiled before leaping onto the bed, bouncing Vidalia in the air. He would do something about it, and it would lighten the mood heavily.
Buying lies and stealing jokes
And laughing every time I choke
Biding all the time you took
Now I know why you've been taken
And laughing every time I choke
Biding all the time you took
Now I know why you've been taken
WAR
Mikey eXtreme had been involved in many high stakes matches during his time in the WCF. He had competed in Ultimate Showdown, he had main evented, he had done it all. But he had never really compete at War.
Sure, he had technically been in a War match before, lying down almost instantly after entering last year. Lying down and allowing FPV to pin him. Giving FPV the best shot at winning the entire thing, but he had failed.
This would be his first real trip into the match that some people say is the best match that WCF has to offer. Guys like Jay Omega, someone who has done almost everything in the WCF. Someone who Mikey has stepped into that ring with before.
That’s who Mikey had to look to in order to win this match. The last two War matches were highlighted by Jay Omega. Almost winning both, but walking away with one win and the World title. Mikey’s goal was simple. Eliminate Jay Omega, and show the world that this year, War was his. This year, he was the War MVP. This year, things would be eXtreme.
Mikey eXtreme: A few years ago, I stepped into the ring with Jay Omega. It was the first time I main evented Slam. We battled to determine the final participant in the Ultimate Showdown match. No Disqualification.
We were in my World.
But, we couldn’t find a winner. We both made it into that match, and it’s haunted me to this day. We might have stole the show, we put on one of the best matches that Slam had ever seen. We put a beautiful match, but I should have walked away the winner.
We teamed up the following week, in a tag team match consisting of the DRG and Omega, vs Fly, my boy Ol’ Z, Synn, Vengeance, and Kyle Kemp. And guess what, I had to carry Omega. I had to make sure that we won that match, and we did just that. Spencer Adams got the pin for us.
That drove Omega mad. I could see it in his eyes. The fact that I had to carry him, that I had to do all the work, that I had to give him a victory.
It drove him insane.
The following week, I teamed with Howard Black, and we took on Jay Omega and Alex Richards, and Scarecrow and Kaz Mazy. We lost because I had to carry Howard Black. I had to make sure we got that victory, and we didn’t. Omega’s team walked away victorious. They walked away with the W. They walked away with the respect.
The following week, Ultimate Showdown. It took three people to take me out of that match. It took a trio-superkick from Omega, Scarecrow, and Jay Omega to eliminate the greatest competitor that the WCF has ever seen. It took three men to eliminate me.
Three.
This year? It ain’t happening. I’m going to go in there and eliminate the entire roster, 1 by 1. I’ll eliminate them all if I have to. I’ll pin, submit, hell, I’ll kill them if I have to. It doesn’t matter to me. It never matters to me. As long as I’m the last one standing.
Mikey laughed. The look in his eyes was furious. He was thinking back to that Ultimate Showdown. The most humiliating moment of his WCF career. It was tearing him apart, but it was also motivating him.
Mikey eXtreme: Every single day since, I’ve thought about Ultimate Showdown. How you pinned me. How you ended my quest for gold. I walked away with nothing. While you walked away with the highest elimination in the entire match. You eliminated me, Jay. You took me out, and you ended my dreams that night.
I was supposed to walk out with gold wrapped around my waist. I was supposed to walk out with that World Title wrapped around my waist. But, I walked out with nothing. I walked out humiliated, I walked out depressed. I walked out knowing that I was screwed.
I’ve hated you ever since that night, in a way that you’ll never understand. This was your fault, and now you finally get to pay. You finally get to pay the price, because since that day, I haven’t seen you. You got to skate away without paying for your mistakes.
This year?
This isn’t a Jay Omega year either. This is the Year of eXtreme, and I’m coming for you, boy. I’m coming hard after you. I’m going to destroy you. I’m going to humiliate you just as you humiliated me. Just as that crowd laughed at me at Ultimate Showdown in 2015, they will laugh at you come War.
I will laugh at you.
Mikey didn’t care what it took, he was going to get Revenge against Jay Omega. He had to, to recover any bit of sanity from losing his Omega championship, and what better way to get over the Omega Championship by Humiliating Omega.
Interlude
Mikey, Vidalia, and Freakshow sat in a bar. Mikey’s jack and coke was 4 parts Jack, and 1 hint of Coke. He poured it down, and asked for another. Another. They kept them coming and Mikey kept knocking them back. Vidalia was drinking a maitai, and Freakshow was drinking rum and coke.
This was time to relax. This was time to sit back and feel good before the War of a lifetime.
Luke Force
Mikey eXtreme: Another opportunity to humiliate the Force, to drop him like a sack of potatoes and laugh in his face in the process. This kid doesn’t belong in there with me, I just showed the world that a few weeks ago when I beat him and his family in the middle of that ring. 1-2-3.
Because, my Family is better. My family is more sadistic. My family is dark, and twisted. We don’t care about you, and we surely won’t lose to you.
Come War, Luke, you lose again. You always lose when you step in there with me. I can promise that.
They did just that. It was a fun night, they relaxed and bonded. Mikey was feeling better, and the liquor didn’t hurt, well perhaps his liver but who needed that, right? Mikey surely didn’t care, he threw back another Jack and Coke before taking a sip of Vidalia’s maitai. It was good, but he wasn’t one for sweet drinks, he liked his bitter and strong.
Another.
Mikey was pouring them back quickly.
Kyle Kemp
Mikey eXtreme: When it comes to Kyle Kemp, a man I’ve beaten countless times. A man that I tagged with countless times. There isn’t much that I don’t know about him. Inside that ring, I know his each and every move. We had chemistry as a tag team because of that. I know what he’s thinking before he even thinks about it.
That’s why I’ll get rid of him quickly. That’s why this isn’t a match for him. This is my night. I go in there, and I walk out with the victory. I walk out after eliminating 300 others, if I have to. Kyle Kemp doesn’t stand in my way, he never has, and he never will. He just can’t get it done when I’m in that ring.
This is my night, Kyle. I think you understand that. I think you know that, and that’s why you won’t put up that fight against me when I pin you.
Mikey pauses.
Mikey eXtreme: Don’t worry, Kyle. I will pin you, I won’t humiliate you with a submission. Out of respect for my former teammate.
Mikey laughs
He slams another one back and slams the glass down on the bar. It breaks, and everyone looks at Mikey. He’s not over losing the Omega Championship to Sidney J. Warwick.
Mikey eXtreme: He got lucky. He knows it. I know it. The world knows it. He go lucky.
He demands another one but the bartender doesn’t give him another one.
Mikey eXtreme: That was my championship. It was designed for me. I was supposed to do big things with that belt. I was supposed to hold that belt for a long long time because I am the Omega, I am the End. I am the greatest competitor in the WCF and Sidney J. Warwick is not on my level. He is not.
He got lucky.
He demands another one and gives the bartender a death stare, the bartender who doesn’t want to serve Mikey another one gives in and gives him the bottle and a new glass. He’s afraid and Mikey likes that.
Mikey eXtreme: That’s why at War, I get my revenge. That’s why at War I eliminate Sidney J. Warwick. I set out to humiliate him just as he humiliated me. Just as he defeated me, I will defeat him. I will make him regret taking that belt from me.
Trust me.
He pours the rocks glass with whiskey and knocks it back.
Mikey eXtreme: You don’t get to run like Omega did all those years ago, Sidney. You get to pay for your actions. You get to step in there with me once again and I get to show you how badly you fucked up. I get to end this match for you. I get to end your War.
And trust me, Sidney. I’m going to do just that. No matter what happens in that match, I’m going to take you out. I’m going to make sure you hobble out of that ring, and you question yourself again.
Because what you did to me, what I’m going through?
Mikey begins talking as if Sidney is in the bar with him, standing in front of him and with the amount of liquor that Mikey has ingested, it’s possible that he indeed sees him.
Mikey eXtreme: You’re going to pay, you son of a bitch. You’re going to fucking pay. You’re going to regret that entire night. Start to finish. But let’s not forget you had to cheat to win, Sidney.
You had to go against the grain, and hit that low blow. A move that should have disqualified you. A move that you know is illegal.
You had to give in to MY world, in order to win that match, Sidney. How does that make you feel? How does that make you feel that you had to steal this match. That you should have lost?
I’ll tell you, you stupid son of a bitch.
It feels wrong.
It’s always going to feel wrong because that wasn’t your match to win. That wasn’t your belt to hold. That was my belt, this is my time to shine, and you stole that spotlight from me. You stole everything that I have worked for and it hurts. It kills me. Each and every night I have to lay there and think about this.
I have to debate myself for what you’ve done to me. For how you’ve wronged me, and for that, you will pay the ultimate price. For that, you will lose, and I will be the one that eliminates you from this match.
Mikey pounds back another glass as the scene fades.
Bonnie Blue
Mikey eXtreme: Ms. Bonnie Blue, another one that got to beat me and run away. Another one that is owed that sweet sweet revenge. Believe me when I tell you this, Blue, it’s coming for you. X gon’ give it to ya.
That day that I brutalized Hank Brown for you, well, at War, you get to see how Hank felt. You get to feel how Hank felt, and believe me, you won’t like it. YOu’ll scream and cry just the same way he did, and I won’t stop. No, I won’t stop there.
I won’t stop until you’re gone. Until you’ve been taken out of War and I’ve been named the winner. I’m not going to stop hurting you, Bonnie, until you’re gone forever. Because, this is Mikey’s America, this is Mikey’s War. This is the KINGDOM of eXtreme and I’m here to defend it at all costs.
You don’t matter to me. You don’t scare me. You don’t factor into this match at all. You’ll be just another Mikey eXtreme elimination. Then you can return to the UCI where you truly belong like the coward that you are. You might have beat me, once, Bonnie, but that meant nothing. It was a bad night for me, but it will result in an even worse night for you.
Because your clock stops ticking now, Bonnie. Time finally becomes a factor for you, as I end it all.
Adam Young
Mikey eXtreme: They let poor Adam Young into this match? Another easy target for the King of eXtreme. Another easy elimination in my path to becoming the greatest War competitor of all time.
You know, I’ve had some great battles with Adam Young, we damn near killed each other in the first King of Deathmatch tournament, and I’ll be damned if I let it get that close at War. Don’t think for a second, Adam, that you stand a chance in War. You’ve never stood a chance in your entire career, and I’m going to make sure that you understand that if and when I see you in that War ring. If and when you’re man enough to come face to face with the real sick bastard of the WCF.
If and when you step up to the plate and try to stand toe to toe with me, Adam, you will be put down the like the dog that you are. I guarantee it.
Mikey laughs.
War is a time for anything to happen, but Mikey is ready for anything. There will be no surprises and Mikey will walk away as the Winner of War. He will go on to win that World Title and cement his legacy as the greatest competitor that the WCF has ever seen.
War. Mikey.
