We fade back in from Corey being hit by the Cutlass, and he's right back into the same hospital bed. His eyes widen as he surveys the room. Just like last time, a thunderstorm rages on outside, hurling rain at the window, and lightning dashing across the sky. The nurse walks in, and places her hand on Corey's leg. He jumps back a bit, to the surprise of the nurse.
Nurse: Mr. Black, please. We did your MRI, everything is running fine.
Corey looks at the nurse, right in the eye.
Corey Black: Are you sure?
He quickly covers his mouth, surprised something came out.
Nurse: Yes, Corey. You're free to go. Cleared to wrestle at the pay per view you so dearly didn't want to miss.
She blinks, but her eyes stay normal. Lightning crashes behind her in the window, and when it settles, she's the same nurse as before. Corey looks on, confused as hell. The nurse hands Corey his t-shirt, and escorts him to the door.
Nurse: You know your way out, yes?
Corey Black: Yeah. I do.
The nurse smiles at Corey, and then turns to head down the hallway. Corey watches her go, and nothing happens. She just continues on about her day. Corey walks down the hallway, to the elevator. He passes every single creature he saw, but in their human form. He's sweating now, obviously nervous, but in the same turn, relieved. Corey gets in the elevator as the door opens, and pressed the ground floor button. Everything is normal.
Corey Black: What in the fuck..?
The elevator door opens to ... the lobby of the hospital. Corey notices the doors to the exit, and kind of hurries to them. In his journey, he bumps into the lemur doctor. Papers fly, but the doc doesn't.
Doctor: Oh oh excuse me!
Corey Black: Uh, no, that was my bad.
Corey turns, and stumbles toward the door more, this time running into the screamer nurse.
Nurse: Ah!
Not a giant scream. Corey ducks out of her way, and busts through the doors out into the rain.
Corey Black: WHYYY!?
As he yells, a car comes toward him. Exact same Cutlass Supreme. The old man opens his door.
Motorist: Hello there son.
Corey Black: ... hi.
Old Man: Going anywhere?
Corey looks at the guy, mindblown.
Corey Black: Airport.
Motorist: Well hop in, sonny! Get yourself out of the rain!
Corey slowly goes over to the passenger door, opens it, and gets in. The Cutlass takes off, leaving the camera behind as it fades to black.
