Our scene opens to a silhouette of a man chained up. He's on his knees with his arms in the air, held up by the chains. Behind the man, is a stone wall. The only light source in the dungeon is a window high up at the top, probably twenty feet. A voice over begins, as the man struggles to break free, in this obvious metaphor piece.
"I just can't break free. Wherever I go, whatever I do, you're always around. I do my best to avoid you, but I can't. When we're friends, you always try to hold the spotlight, because you're the best. When we're enemies, you cannot do anything but try to knock me down."
The door of the dungeon opens, allowing in a blinding light. A behemoth of a man steps in, tattoos all over his arms, black hood with white markings in his head, and leather pants with metal accents. It's an executioner.
"At five o'clock ... you take me to the gallows pole. The sands of time, for me, are running low."
The executioner walks over to the man and delivers a single blow to his head. The man crumbles to the ground, allowing the executioner an opportunity to unchain him, and sling him over his own shoulder.
"I cannot beat the rightful World Champion. He is better than I. But, I can try. He's such a force to be reckoned with."
The executioner takes the man out of the dungeon, and out into the sunlight. He takes the man up a flight of stone stairs, and to a wooden scaffolding structure, complete with noose hanging from a beam. The executioner places the man's head in the noose, and the camera drops to the man's feet.
"It's your time, now. All about you. I have nothing left to give. You can be the face of WCF. I will sit back and allow it to happen. Because I can't beat you. Til Death Do Us Part has more meaning than one, my old friend. You're going to end me. Just like..."
The floor the man was standing on drops out, effectively hanging him. His feet kick into the air as he tries to wiggle free; but it's a moot point now. Soon, the man's feet stop kicking, and the camera begins it's climb up his body.
"I CAN'T BEAT YOU. You know I can't. So why am I even trying? Is it for pride? Is it because I've never pinned you before?"
The camera is at the man's chest, and stops.
"Or is it because you're ... Corey Black?"
Finally, the camera shows the man's face. It's Torture. His expressionless, dead face is the last thing you see before the scene fades to black.
