KOTDM NIGHT FOUR: Episode UDY
A river of sweat crept down my face as I changed in what passed as a locker room in the charred remains of the 2300 Arena. Goddamn, that whole ring area was hot as hell during that Inferno match. Before tonight I had never been in an Inferno match. I tried to keep my expectations about this match realistic, but the actual thing exceeded all of them. I still came out victiorious, though. I had never in life thought I'd use a burning smartphone on my wsy to a win, but I wasn't complaining.
Wiping the excessive sweat off of my face before changing into my street clothes, I had every intention of going right back to the hotel room and getting some good night's sleep before the next night. That is, until I saw a cameraman wander into the room, camera already rolling. figuring it's probably be good to get my promo out of the way tonight, my mind began racing for things to riff on Udy about.

FPV: Heh. That was a fun match I had back there. Insane, but fun. And now look at me. 5 points on the board, still well within contention for the title of King. You can do a lot of things to keep me down. Drown me, burn me, beat me with random objects. But no matter what you do, I will always get back up.
Udy, you're coming into this match tomorrow with a big fat whopping 0 points. The only way this could be more of a mismatch was if this was against Crow, and you better count your blessings that he already got his turn with you. But you find yourself going against me in a structure, an electrified cage to be precise. And man, do I thrive in structures. Just ask Jayson Price.
You know what's even better, Udy? The fact that your little "pack" can't do anything to interfere in this match. They have to watch from the outside, lest they risk getting electrocuted. Which by the way, if you're trying to make yourself look tough to your competitors, having a bodyguard on you (even a cool one named Fenris) is not the way to do it. It just makes you look like a punk who can't do anything on his own. A perfect descriptor of you.
I'm well on my way to the finals of this whole thing. You're so far out of contention at this point your entire presence is a waste of time. You're only here to get me more points before I face Crow on Friday. Nothing else.
That all being said, it's getting late here and I need to catch some ZZZs. I'll see you tomorrow. I hope the outcome of the match doesn't...SHOCK you too much.
That horrible pun out of my system, I got back to preparing for the hotel, ready for a good, long night's sleep.
