He is a black belt in Gracie Jui Jitsu, having been trained by Rickson and Royce Gracie. The Gracies labeled him "Simply the Best", as he was the best they'd ever seen. He is also a master at Muy Thai and Russian Sambo. He is a very cocky man and is capable of backing up every bit of it. He's very focused in the ring and doesnt like to showboat or showboaters

He stops at the ramp and looks around before darting to the ring. He slides under the bottom rope and runs to the furthest turnbuckle. He climbs it. He does a black flip off of it while throwing the black towel into the crowd. He then simply waits for his opponent

Erik Black is a founder of Zero Tolerance. He grew up a very poor boy. His parents were killed in a home invasion when he was around 5 years old. He and his brother Max were put with their grandmother Ester. Esther and Max were killed in a drive by shooting when Erik was only 8 years old. He was put into the foster system, but ran away when he was around 13. He made his way down to Brazil and was trained by Rickson and Royce Gracie. They'd never seen anyone with such natural ability before. They dubbed him "Simply the Best'. When he was 18, he entered One World Coalition. It was in OWC where he met Jaymz and Crazy J. After his only loss in OWC, which was to Jaymz, Zero Tolerance was formed. He worked at an assassin within Zero Tolerance for many years. He was known as the boogyman among Zero Tolerances enemies. He made his money and retired from the wrestling ring to take care of the business, though he is willing to come out of retirement if the match is right
