The Brad and Megan bedroom of the Kane house. Its getting late as Brad is reading a book in his chair as Megan sits next to him. They're both wearing pajamas or close to in Brad's case. He's wearing sweatpants and a crummy looking blue t-shirt while Megan has a long black nightgown on that helps hide her expanding stomach. She's busy reading a magazine as the two look at one another and just exchange a smile. Ever since Brad got his hair cut short, he's found himself on the bed quite often, feeling her hands going through his hair. Megan puts up her magazine as she stands up, stretching and yawning as she heads for the bed. Brad follows her into the bed as they both pull the blankets up.
Well...
Well what?
He smirks but not for the reasons you're thinking of.
Wanna tell me how you're doin' sweetness?
Megan contently sighs, loving it when Brad asks her stuff like that. She loves the fact that he would rather listen to her then want to stick his wang in her every night. Lately, they've mostly slowed down, even before she got pregnant.
I did okay today. Played some video games this morning and then played with Lacey and Lilly in their room. Lacey wanted to read to Lilly today, so sweet. I nearly cried but Lacey got so frustrated that she couldn't read to her little sister. So I read to the both of them. Lilly loves The Cat In The Hat because of the voices I do. After that, I looked at the twins, watching our little cuties sleep. Then Jennifer woke up hungry so I fed her. Same went with Sarah. Thankfully neither was at the same time.
Brad's hanging on her every word as she continues.
Then I saw you at lunch. I remember the kiss you gave me, so nice that it stayed with me all afternoon. Took a nap for a couple of hours. Had a small dream about us. We were at Lacey's wedding. She married some football player. They were madly in love with each other and you were crying your eyes out seeing her getting married. It was pretty great. Woke up and I listened to some music while reading. Sang along with our song a couple of times. I'm glad we went with that Trivium song. I hate metal stuff but I love that song.
A smile is still on her face.
Before I knew it, it was time to make us dinner. I love that its just me, you and the kids eating in the dining room. I like having the family around but I love it when its just us eating. I feel so comfortable. I know you loved dinner tonight even though you didn't say it! You love my grilled chicken breast with macroni and cheese.
I do. Its pretty excellent.
That gets him a kiss on the cheek as she goes back to her day.
The rest of the night, well, I've spent with you. I love watching Ghost Whisperer with you. I remember you crying when her husband died on the show.
Brad shakes his head.
I wasn't crying! A piece of popcorn flew into my eye...
Honey, I thought it was sweet you got that much into a show. I know why you really watch it with me. You have a crush on JLH.
Guilty as charged.
Megan giggles as she puts her head on his chest.
Do you think I look like her?
Eh, a little bit. I find you much, much more sexier. Plus your boobs are bigger. Either way, if you ever made out with her, I couldn't control myself.
She keeps giggling as Brad strokes her hair.
I won't lie and say I've had dreams of you and Ryan Renolds at the same time. Both of you... mmmm...
Brad looks a little surprised upon hearing her celeb crush.
Ryan Renolds? Seriously?
Yeah. You have your crush and I have mine. Besides, it all harmless right?
He sighs, agreeing with her.

She slides up to put her head on her pillow. Megan can only be on her back right now as Brad turns to look at the side of her face. He just stares, contently, as a smile is on his face. Megan starts to feel a little paranoid.

Nothing. Just admiring your beauty. Don't know how I made it through life without having to look at something like you, gorgous. Last night, I looked at you for a good half an hour before kissing your forehead and going to bed. As great as you look in make up, there is something about your natural look and its just so sexy. More so when you let me drop my stuff on your pretty face.
Megan starts to giggle again. If you haven't figured it out, she loves to laugh and giggle.
Well since I heard it was good for your skin... hehehehe.
She gets a kiss on the cheek as Brad hovers his head over hers before lowering down to give his wife a kiss on the lips this time. It begins to get hot and heavy as they're really getting into it until there is a knock on the door. They both sigh and sit up.
Its open.
In walks Lacey with a stuffed tiger in her arms as she's crying her eyes out. Brad motions for her to get up onto their bed as she does.
What's wrong honey? Another bad dream?
Lacey nods her head. She hugs her daddy tightly, not wanting to let go as he grabs her tiger.
Did Keiichi have a bad dream too?
She shakes her head no.
Do you wanna talk to him?
Yes.
Brad clears his throat as he goes into a high pitched kind of voice.
Hi Lacey. I heard you had a nightmare.
Another nod of her little head.
Do you know why your daddy got me for you?
No.
He got me to protect you from monsters. As long as you have me, nothing will happen to you.
Slowly, she stops crying as she lets go of Brad. She grabs Keiichi as she goes inbetween her parents as they both smile.
Good night Lacey.
Brad gets out of bed really quick as he points to the girls' bedroom as Megan nods. He goes inside to see Lilly awake too. She's looking around for her older sister.
Where Wacey?
She's with mommy and daddy, honey. You gonna go back to sleep Lilly flower?
Lilly nods her head as she goes back down as Brad puts her blanket back over her. A kiss on the forehead as she closes her eyes again as Brad checks up on the twins. Both are sleeping peacefully as he smiles before leaving the room, leaving the door open a crack. Brad goes back into the bedroom now as Lacey is fast asleep in the middle of the bed. Megan smiles as she starts to close her eyes as Brad gets back into bed now. All the lights are shut off as Brad and Megan slowly drift to sleep...
