It is with a heavy heart that I make this announcement. Former WCF World Champion Gemini Battle passed away just a few hours ago at Heart Hospital in New Mexico. Though the actions of David Sanchez certainly was the antagonizing factor it was deemed by the Battle Estate that no charges were to be placed and no further investigation to be set to follow.
Wake Services are at DeMarco's in Manhattan on Thursday and Friday from 11-2 and 7-9 and the ceremonial burning of the body is set to take place atop Gemco Towers in an all day event starting from sunrise and ending at sunset with the burning of the body on Saturday.
The entire roster of the WCF is invited to attend, even Pantheon.

OOC: If anyone wants to use the wake or funeral in their RP go for it. You can defile the remains all you like OOC: Bates will of course be present. Any defiling of the remains will earn the wreath of a VERY angry (and silent) Bates. Feel free to use that, just let me know what you plan on doing as I will be using this in my roleplay. |

It's pretty much if anyone defiles the remains, Bates is going to flip out and start strangling the person while caving their skull in with heavy mounted punches. I'd love to have it where the entire WCF roster, both "Team WCF" and "Pantheon" have to pull him off while rushing the other person far away from him. |
