Your Name: Kyle
Picbase: Aiden Turner
Wrestler's name: Sebastian Knight
Nicknames: "The Mimic"
Gimmick: An elitist with a troubled past.
Height/weight: 6'1" / 195 lbs.
Hometown: Manhattan, New York
Alignment: Heel
Attire: Black, full-length tights, black boots, white wrist tape. Standard wrestling gear. When backstage, he is often wearing business wear. Dark colors, nothing flashy
Entrance and music:
"Guardians at the Gate" by Audiomachine fills the arena via the PA system as Sebastian Knight steps through the curtian with a noticeable lack of theatrics. His gait was focused as he moved down the entrance ramp, ignoring the calls and jeers the closest fans tossed at him, while the music increased intensity around him. Once at ringside, Knight uses the steel steps to climb onto the apron. He grabs onto the top rope and lifts his leg to step through, before hesitating a moment. He finally acknowledges the crowd, panning the sea of faces for a brief moment. The chorus kicks in, and Knight completes his entrance into the ring, moving to the corner with his focus turned inward once more. The music fades out a few moments later as Knight waits, stony-faced, for the match to begin.
Wrestling Style:
Technical with a Puroresu Influence. He likes hard strikes, painful submissions, and a multitude of suplexes and other throws. In his striking game, he prefers to use his arms (primarily elbow or forearm strikes, less punches or chops) over his legs (exception would be knee strikes). He also doesn’t believe in running attacks, especially flashy techniques. His game plan would be as follows: striking and high impact technical moves like suplexes or drops to put his opponent on the mat. When the opponent is on the ground, he prefers a methodical approach: wear down submissions on the torso and appendages that’ll probably never submit an opponent and strikes to a part of the body. His best submission is definitely his Dragon Sleeper will usually only be applied at the end of the match after the opponent his been worn down. His style is not flashy by any means; its designed to break the resolve and the resistance of his opponent and then turn to his Package Piledriver or Dragon Sleeper to seal the deal. He views finishers as punctuation, not a word in the middle of the sentence with more to follow.
With all this said, Knight has the capability to perform high flying techniques as well as the more violent brawling common in the WCF, though it is more dependent on the situation than his own preference. “The Mimic” moniker is actually a nod to Knight’s adaptability when facing opponents with a style different than his own. High Flyers tend to draw out his own high flying ability, and Knight is more than willing to bleed and maim in the hardcore setting against that crowd of competitor. This isn’t to say that these are his strong suits—technical wrestling is where he excels and is where is default setting is—but he will partake in these in circumstances where the stakes are higher (NOTE: If you’re not sure how Knight may work against a certain opponent when you’re writing my match, just shoot me a PM and I’ll shoot you some ideas)
Favorite Moves:
Strikes: Elbow Strikes, Forearm Strikes, Knee Strikes, Spinning Backfist, on occasion Chops and Punches, Lariat, Short-Arm Clothesline, Uppercut
High Impact Techniques: Backbreaker, Lungblower, Brainbuster (Normal, Jumping, Twisting), DDT (Cradle, Spike), Electric Chair Driver, Suplex (Multiple Variations), Neckbreaker (Multiple Variations)
Wear Down Moves: Armbreaker, Double Knee Armbreaker, Hyperextensions of the arm and leg, Dragon Screw, Abdominal Stretch, Sleeper Hold, Targeted strikes to the appendages and back, Torture Rack (to opponents his size only)
Ground Submissions: Back (Bow and Arrow, Camel Clutch, Surfboard), Variations of Armbar, Leg (Boston Crab, Stretch Muffler, Figure 4 Leglock, Kneebar , Ankle Lock)
Trademark move and description:
Poi (Discus Elbow)
Finisher and description:
The Pinnacle (Powerbomb into a Double Knee Backbreaker)
GKK [Acronym for “Go Knight Knight”] (Dragon Sleeper)
Thunder Fire Powerbomb (NOTE: This is a rarely seen technique from Knight that’ll probably only appear in matches against rivals or PPV title matches. Best bet is to just ask and I can tell you whether its suitable to use)
History: The only child of a Canadian Real-Estate guru, little is known about Sebastian early years due to his sheltered upbringing. Tabloids have written a multitude of pieces on the Knight family--his father is something of celebrity in French-Canada--that range from psychological disorders to strange familial customs, but it is not known how much of all of is true. Reports suggest Knight had been training privately for a debut into the wrestling world before an accident put him in the hospital for a week; when asked of the injury and cause, reporters were told simply that Sebastian had suffered severe head trauma. This hasn't proven to be a deterrent, though, as Sebastian has since recovered and signed a contract with the Wrestling Championship Federation at the end of 2016.
