Professional Wrestler Considered for US Ambassador

President-elect Donald Trump is considering nominating one time candidate for U.S. Senator from Alabama, and professional wrestler Thomas Uriel Bates to serve as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, according to sources close to the President-elect.

Bates, 33, was at the Trump Tower in New York on Friday. We have attempted to reach out to Bates, but have been unsuccessful at this time.

Bates unsuccessfully sought the Republican Senatorial nomination in Alabama. He held a respectful campaign against sitting Senator Richard Shelby. Bates was said to have views that were very extreme, even for the right-wing Republican party.

The presence of Bates in the United Nations would be intimidating. Bates is 6’9, weighs 430 pounds, and is generally considered one of the strongest men in the world, even holding world records in weight lifting. He is also a skilled wrestler, and is currently the World Champion of the WCF wrestling promotion.

Perhaps President-elect Trump feels that this towering “mountain” would convince the rest of the United Nations members to fall in line with his new directions.
