Voice: I ... I ... I ...
The screen hasn't caught up and shown any video yet, but a lone voice was heard. It's a familiar voice in a familiar setting with an unfamiliar name and appearance. The video starts playing, and Corey Black sits alone in the middle of an empty ring in the WCF Arena in Allegheny, Pennsylvania. Corey is wearing baggy jeans and a Slipknot t-shirt, without the "Creeping Death" make-up or mask or anything, but with the WCF World Title around his waist.
Corey Black: I know this might come a shock to most WCF viewers, but it shouldn't. There comes a time when all the biggest names in entertainment that got over with their looks have to take a step back and see if they can do it on their own. Kiss did it, Mudvayne did it, Sting did it, hell, even Mick Foley has done it. Something just sets you off and you feel the need to prove your worth. For me, it was my time in GWC.
See, I'm having a pretty successful time over there for once. Had myself a title run, decent wins with Torture, the like. It's when you get to the end of my reign as "Creeping Death" when shit starts to sour. Walking into a title defense of the Ultimate Title at a pay-per-view, and I was banned from everywhere GWC related. Not because of management, but because of a bully. And because of this banning, I couldn't train, I couldn't scout my opponent, I couldn't do interviews, nothing. The ban was lifted and it felt like the match was already over.
Why even bring this up here? Because everyone knew who was in power over there. Every company has locker room leaders. One of those men was Thunder. He could have easily used his pull to get me back into the buildings, but he didn't. And for that, he's part of the reason why I am now who I am.
For that, he'll truly be sorry.
The camera pulls back away from Corey Black as the scene fades out.
