Following the ribbon cutting of his immaculate new philanthropic project, the Claire Shepard Memorial Drug Treatment Center, Jared Holmes met with Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner. "What Mister Holmes has brought to Houston today," said Mayor Turner, on the steps of city hall before a sea of photographers and reporters, "is the gift of hope. For too long our inner city streets have been constricted in the talons of drug peddlers who have preyed upon our people at their most desperate. In one act of kindness, we have made a step towards ending the problem. Whenever Mister Holmes visits our city, we wish to let him now that all of us have an open door." Holmes was next to take the podium, accompanied by his fiancee Thursday Kerrigan. "We seek to continue the good work the Oblivion Foundation has demonstrated in Detroit and Chicago. When people sit idly by, wallowing in their money and greed and selfishness, the world despairs. I will not follow in the footsteps of some others. I'm here to help make America the greatest nation on Earth, one city at a time." Following the ceremony, Holmes and Kerrigan boarded a plane to St. Paul, MN where Holmes is set to participate in WCF's Helloween pay-per-view. Holmes will be a member of Team Pantheon facing Team WCF, which features Houston native, Salem Shepard.
