Let me tell you a little secret, Gemini. The Championship is what you make of it. You do not get magically elevated by winning a specific belt, that is not how this game works.

The Internet Championship has been defended non-stop by a collection of men that are considered elite. Considered untouchable.

At last year's ONE, one of the most hotly anticipated matches was not the main event, oh no. It was Alex Richards vs. Zombie McMorris.

The two greatest Internet Champions going one on one.

It's true, Gemini, that you lost in the last match of the card, but let's face facts, you were hardly the most anticipated match. Not when Joey Flash and Dune were on the card.

All this though is a digression, I don't have to prove to you that the title is what you make of it, I'm sure you'll agree. So let's see what you made of your world title reign.

You lost repeatedly, first to me and then to Thomas Bates in a handicap match.

Then you won a 6-man tag team match, and then you lost the belt. So as world Champion you went 1-3 and did not win a single one-on-one match.

But I'm going to rewind again for a moment, Gem. You say that I've never been world champion, but there's one thing you overlook.

I've beaten World Champions. I've beaten them during their reigns.

I beat you. During your reign. I have to keep bringing it up because you just. aren't. getting. it.

The only reason I am not a world champion right now is because you didn't put it on the line.

You hid behind a technicality and the fact that I was already a champion to make sure I wouldn't take your prize.

Very true. But you’ve done nothing but make a mockery of the Internet Title. This is your first true defense of the title in 2 months! You’ve done nothing but skirt away from competition and the only way I was even able to coax you into putting the title on the line was to put mine on the line as well. Because that’s what I do every week with my Television Championship. I fight with it and I defend it with honor and pride and dignity. I don’t treat it like a piece of trash as you do with that strap around your waist.



And you wanna talk about records when having title reigns? What was your record as People’s Champ? Because as I recall it you lost nearly every single week except on the rare opportunities that you had to put that title on the line, and lets face the facts. Those matches have nothing to do with talent so don’t even TRY to pretend that it does.



So before you assault me for boasting about my accomplishments realize that they‘re not all that shape who we are. They’re the result of who I am. You wanna talk about World Champions that we’ve beaten… this list is too high to count. My reigns may not have been historic in length but each one meant something. Tis is the hour of my malcontent, Teddy. As the time draws nigh for our laptops and computers to go away and for our fists to come into play I sit back and reflect on the prose based sparring that we’ve undergone through the past few weeks.

I have never competed in an internet title match, and it may be clear based off of our initial interactions. But it has become clear to me where my strengths lie are the very same places where your weaknesses dwell.
