Ok, so I need yall to tell me if this is easier to read. Its my RP from last week, I went back and color coded all the talking parts last night....but I need to guys to tell me if its easier to read, or if it looks all jumbled because I mix action parts with the talking parts. I only coded the first half, so if you guys could take a look and tell me if its easier to read - or if I should stick with the one color for scenes/storyline parts. thanks yall wcfwrestling.proboards.com/thread/31496/talks-pops-more-poetry

I don't think quoted writing like yours needs to be color coded but it doesn't look bad.

better, but with those size of posts, color coding can be a bitch
the new color coding works better for those who have to wear glasses but they're missing (me) as it does make for less eye strain at least on my behalf.

A very easy way to color code is to only color code narration and leave dialogue as the bass color. Or vice versa. It's a simple manner of finding " in word and replacing it with <font=(Desired color code)>". Then finding ." And replacing it with ".</font> Using the correct brackets of course.

Personally Im not a fan of the colors, it looks too jumbled. and I agree with Gemini, since its all quoted, thats why Ive never color coded it before.
Im not doing it for me, Im doing it to make it easier for YOU GUYS to read - if it does infact make it easier to read.

I think it makes it easier to read but I don't think it's worth the effort.
The only reason I color code is because I have time. But it can look like a Christmas tree if I'm working with 5 or 6 characters as I have. . That's why you'll notice there's 4 recurring characters in my rps lately.

I've always practiced to just color code, I color code dialogue and leave everything else the basic default green. I have a system and it works for me, but everybody has their own ways.
