Figured I'd bring this back because, well everyone enjoyed it the first time. However, this time I believe I will do this once a week and just recap the days since the last one. This first post will just be for today September 8th.
Fun Fact: Slam has only ever been held once on September 8th in all of its history. This happened in 2013.
Slam! Sunday, September 8th 2013
Slam opens to a segment where Matthew Robinson and Seifer Black Armstrong are talking backstage. Police swarm them and arrest Seifer, apparently on murder charges.
Following this, we began having the owners of WCF called EPPW at the time, Eric Price and Sarah Twilight deciding who would enter WAR at what number. After a few 'practice picks' from Eric ... the first two entrants were decided. Entering WAR 2013 at number 1 ... Sarah Twilight. Entering at #2 ... Eric Price ... much to the disgust of both of them.
Match 1. In our first contest of the night, Lionheart defeated Matthew Robinson vis pinfall.
After the match, Lionheart and his manager remained in the ring issuing a challenge, demanding that someone answer it or they would not leave. EPPW CEO Sarah Twilight answered said challenge to which Lionheart's manager alluded to the challenge being issued to males only and henceforth some disrespect. After a Twilight Zone to said manager, challenge was accepted for the following week.
Match 2. Eli The Kid defeated Ace Lightning and Tyler Walker when Eli pinned Ace Lightning.
Eric Price and Matthew Robinson speak backstage about common issues with Lionheart.
Match 3. Havok defeated Pepper via pinfall.
Night Rider, Denise D'Evil and Oblivion bicker backstage about Night Rider's interference in stopping Denise from seriously injuring Ana Valentine during a scuffle they had.
Match 4. Doc Henry defeats Tek vis pinfall despite some interference by 'The Masked Man' who assaulted both men at various points during the contest.
Seth Lerch is backstage with his 'son' Shane ... who he questions the legitimacy of. It is indicated that Shane's mother and Seth's forgotten former lover would be at Slam the following week.
Match 5. Logan defeats Deuce Maximus via pinfall after and insanely hard fought match.
Sarah Twilight and Eric Price argue backstage over Sarah taking up Lionheart's challenge earlier that night being as Sarah and Eric were set to be 'wed' the following week on Slam.
Match 6. Jordan Caliban defeated Eric Price via pinfall to become the NEW Internet Champion.
Seth Lerch runs into Logan backstage to speak about WAR and Logan's successful past in the match.
Match 7. John Barber defeated Denise D'Evil via pinfall to retain the Television Championship
Post Match Ana Valentine confronts Denise D'Evil, the two women exchange blows until they are separated by John Barber and Night Rider respectively.
Match 8. Odin Balfore annihilates Biohazard in about 6 seconds.
Ana Valentine and John Barber discuss forming an alliance with one another backstage.
S-PAC welcomes Benjamin Atreyu into their ranks.
