My e-fed names were The Dino Kid, Cliff Wolf, and Cliff Austin. Even then, I was changing characters like I change my underwear.

I was also the first champion of the first fed I was ever in. And I was 13.
Clearly, I have regressed.

My very first efed character was named Skid Row ... and came out to 'Youth Gone Wild' by the band of that very name lol. Ran a tag team alongside him named Cell Block ... classic prison gang gimmicks for all 3 of them. It was actually pretty horrible and if you saw my RPs for those guys ... holy fuck yeah, we're talking two paragraphs.
Though to be fair, when I very very FIRST started efedding (I was RPing way different stuff before that and actually WRITING) I thought the concept was to write promos like exactly how it was on T.V. just backstage talking some quick shit, like literally just quick promos ... took a few months to really figure everything out back then.

Right? My first was Seven. Rps consisted of interupting matches talking about the end of the world

33. Started in 1992, and yes everything has changed. I remember when most efeds barely had any rules, I remember efed wars, and I remember email feds. The talent has changed too. Better writers here in WCF than I have ever seen before. Ran across a fed once called Writers League Wrestling. To qualify, you had to have a published book in circulation. RPs were minimum 75,000 words each, one rp minimum per week, 100,000 word rp minimum for PPV matches and match results were a shared co-write between the match participants with lengths ranging from 50k - 125k words per match with the ending itself written by a non match participant. Lots of rules, and I mean an insane number of rules for rps. A single typo or color edit error is grounds to disqualify your rp, go write a new one, no reusing info from the current one. Hell with that. I kept looking.

Wow. When was this? I never ran across them. 02-05. they closed in 05 I think. Considering how harsh the rules were for writing, I'm surprised they lasted that long.

I am too. I'm not against longer roleplays, but to demand long roleplays all the time is going a bit too far.
Speaking of which, I do remember "RP minimums" being around "100 lines".

I usually broke that rule, but still managed wins off of quality. Some people did long posts but weren't saying anything original or had bad formatting with a 30 line block of solid spoken text or worse. One guy did a post where he said the word 'fuck' 70 times in one paragraph. Wasn't impressive.

I'm 29. Started my efed journey in late 1999 or early 2000. Right around the time we moved from the big city to the middle of nowhere.
Took a long hiatus in 2008 or 2009. Returned a little over a year ago when I found this place.

30, been in the game since I was 14 - I've spent half my life with WCF. This is my life's work. TELL ME ABOUT IT I'm 30 as well. I'd be interested to see the average age of efedders throughout the years. I wonder if there is some new fledgling fed out there run by a fifteen year old with a bunch of teens roleplaying. I kinda doubt it, which is sad!

I THINK I started in 99, that sounds about right, maybe it was 2000, whichever. I know WCF started in 2000 and I was in Steve Carr's NCW before that.
I know I've had breaks but probably rarely for more than a year. Efedding has been a near constant presence in my life. Which is nice, because at this point it would be weirder for me NOT to have efedding to do than to keep doing it so at times I feel like quitting it is easy not to because it would upset my feeling of normalcy.

And you just went back and forth til cut offday? Sorta like the internet matches.......
