Unconfirmed reports are emerging following Revenge that Brent Alpine has been arrested on charges of manslaughter.
The wrestler is alleged to have been involved in a hit and run several years ago in Cairns, Australia which left a young child dead. Evidence to this effect was submitted anonymously to local police immediately after Alpine's unsuccessful WCF World Title opportunity, won by Thomas Uriel Bates.
If found guilty, as seems inevitable, Alpine faces several years in prison due to additional as yet undeclared circumstances.
WCF have already terminated his contract. Suspension was considered but the evidence clearly warrants this hardline and prompt response.
