But seriously, I think it felt more like an awards show back in the day. And I don't like these performances they put on these music awards shows. Everything is either a remix, a medley, or a fucking collaboration. Jesus Christ. Play one fucking song all the way through! Everything has to be a fucking production nowadays! If everyone does a big fucking number with eighty-five different guest musicians playing the chorus' of thirty different songs in the span of five minutes, then the performances are nothing fucking special! It's the musical equivalent of Monday Night Raw!

I wanted to see a rock or a metal band. A music revolution needs to happen, a shake-up, so to say.ni don't mind a little pop here or a little hip-hop there. But, just becuz I like my rock that makes me old, WTF... Lol?!

The MTV video music awards are a joke ... being as MTV doesn't really even play music videos anymore ... nor has it in forever. I also feel like most (not all) music in general has gone downhill in the last ten years.

I think they're all owned by the same company. They did the same thing for the BET Awards.
