Doc is sitting on a bench, wrapping his wrists in tape as Mary works on massaging his shoulders...
"Here we are, the final countdown has begun. By now fans are lining up, vendors are stocking their booths and popcorn is being popped.
Almost all of the titles will be on the line as we start the march towards WAR. All eyes are gonna be on the big triple threat World Title Match main event. However, if'n you want a true glimpse as to how WAR will go, look no further than the Hardcore Title match. The five of us are going to put on one of the finest displays of violence and destruction since Achilles slew Hector.
Crazy J, while still being completely bat chit insane shows much promise and it will be hard to deny his potential in this match. We'll see just how his hardcore past will hold up here in the big Dub...
Lester the Molester isn't high on the list of concern for me, I'm of legal age..."
Mary smiles as she grabs the oils. Applying them liberally, she looks Doc in the eye. "Are you happy now though, it looks like you got your wish with Oblivion."
"Of course I am Mary. After last week on Slam, I was sad to see the state he is in. Oblivion is a monster, no doubt there, and for this Hardcore Title Match, I want him as his most monstrous. For all the things he is, Oblivion IS the yardstick to measure against in the hardcore division. If I am to go against him for this title, I want him at his most vile and dangerous.
ZMac on the other hand, well there is always a fight when he is in the ring, but the difference with him, I'm not scared of his Zombie ass. Look, in my two and two singles record against ZMac he has only ONE clean win against me, whereas I have won both matches without any interference, including taking his vaunted Interenet Title from him. Add the tag matches and I am still sitting at 3-3. For all that ZMac is, all the badassery in the ring, it's a toss up crap shoot when I face him. This time however, there will be three other men in the ring all looking to get the pinfall.
All of them will overlook me, I am the Southern Rogue, the Confederate Champion, and yes as Oblivion said I have yet to hold the World Title. Well, you know what Oblivion, not everyone gets the same opportunities. I'll hold that belt on time. You can mock my career all you want, but both of us are top five all time in championships here in the Dub. Starting tonight when Revenge closes, well, I'll be on yet one more reign, as a two time Hardcore Champion, and to win it over such stalwarts of the division as ZMac and the man who defines it, Oblivion, well that will make it ten times sweeter.
Gird your loins men, this pre-WAR battle will be the one everyone talks about when remembering Revenge 2016. They will all talk about how the Confederate won, just like the CSA Army routed the Union at Chancellorsville where General Lee roundly beat General Hooker's far superior forces..."
