The running powerbomb done by Seth Rollins which injured Sting and now Finn Balor... should WWE ban it?

I'll say no only because it isn't necessarily the move itself that is dangerous.
Keep in mind that Rollins's use is most commonly with the turnbuckle or the barrier.

Two big injuries, one of which retired Sting and the other that limited the new star's title reign to one day. Ban it.

The move itself is dangerous. I remember first seeing that running powerbomb into a turnbuckle and thinking, "he's going to paralyze someone."
Think about it; It's powerbombing someone into an object that hits their spine. Of course it's going to injure people.
I've never liked thr Seth Rollins chatacter, but always respected Seth Rollins the person. If he continues to use this move I will lose all respect for him.

it should be banned only when used with other obstacles. It should ONLY be done on the wrestling mat.

Yeah, I could see it on the top turnbuckle, but if you miss and their head get snapped by it.... Enjoy the wheelchair if your lucky...

I say no. Balor botched the landing. These things happen. Any move is safe if the performers coordinate and do their part.

I would say for most moves three strikes and you're out, I mean Dean took the running powerbomb on a pile of chairs and kept on going, though admittedly Dean may have a horseshoe up his rear when it comes to avoiding injuries.

What i don't like about that move is that you have no idea when or where you're going to hit it. Like Mr. Bates mentioned it could easily be between the turnbuckle and what I think happened in Finn/Seth case is that Finn misjudge the distance between the throw and the barricade and is arms went behind more than he anticipated. These guys are used to taking bumps flat on a mat/floor not sideways like that so i would consider it a more 'dangerous' move than others. I like Seth, i think he's a great entertainer but I'm sure he could easily replace that move with something that looks as 'vicious' that would be easier to take than that one. Just my 2 canadian cents

It's both competitor's fault, but not necessarily the move's. Yeah the move is highly dangerous, but only when done wrong. Rollins let go of Finn too early, and like Pomp said, Bálor misjudged the distance and put his arm back too far.

Any move that puts a person's spine on a hard object is a bad move.
