Knockin On Heavens Door, Guns N' Roses. Not the use Your Illusion version, or the "massive stadium" live version. You gotta go back to 1988 before they really blew up. This was a show at the Ritz and I think this is probably the best GNR show of all time with the best version of this song. its a small show without all the lights and pyro, ..it was all about the music in 1988.
And this, of course.

Knockin On Heavens Door, Guns N' Roses. Not the use Your Illusion version, or the "massive stadium" live version. You gotta go back to 1988 before they really blew up. This was a show at the Ritz and I think this is probably the best GNR show of all time with the best version of this song. its a small show without all the lights and pyro, ..it was all about the music in 1988. And this, of course. I liked Clapton's version better myself, but it is still pretty good.

I grew up hearing Dolly Parton on the radio all the time. Her's was one of the first songs that made me hear a true voice instead of justa song. But Whitney did hers, and I was blown away. Her vocals were so outstanding, it made you take notice. Regardless of your choice of music, I believe both versions are equally loved by all.
