Courage - I face fear and defend family and friend from danger
Discipline - I do what is necessary and right without bribe or threat
Fidelity - I am true to family, friend, and to those I pledge my service
Honor - I stand by oaths and honor ancestors by purifying myself through action, work, and word
Hospitality - I share hearth, food, and drink with any weary traveler at my door
Industriousness - I take joy in labor and hold nothing back from the work I pledge to do
Perseverance - I press on until the goals are met, the task is finished, and I have done all I have said I will do
Self Reliance - I learn skills and grow strong so I may earn my way with no burden to others
Truth - I seek truth even when it may be a hard truth; I speak true words or stand in silence; and I defend the truth from those who would not honor it.
This is how I live, how I fight, how I honor. These ideals govern me, give me direction and purpose. And no matter who I see across from me in the ring, these virtues keep me steadfast and strong, and will until my dying day.
These virtues rule my tongue be it said to foe or friend. Spoken sometimes blunt, and other times cryptic, but always with discipline and truth at the forefront. And friend, foe, or stranger will receive it all with no regard from me for your hurt feelings. If the truth hurts, then change something in your life.
I value men of war, men of valor and honor, and men of the cloth, be it from my own religious ideals or not. These are the men and women that change history. These are the people that alter the world for better or ill. These are those remembered for acts of greatness, whether your name is Princess Diane or Al Capone. And yes, I respect also the learned man, those that spent years learning in a University and placing themselves in huge sums of debt for half their life all so they may forge useful skills. I respect it, because of the dedication required to complete such a process.
I hold the greatest value in people. Specifically those that go against the flow, standing with courage against the sheep of the world. People on this list include Baron Massaker, Adam Young, Serujah Goldstein, Gemini Battles, and half a dozen others within the WCF. And yes, that includes Oblivion and Lilith and those of ZT and Bates.
I am who I am. And who I am starts with these Ten Virtues.
