I didn't think this needed to be talked about publicly but it has come to my attention Lilith has been trying to start trouble and spreading stuff about her ban.
I don't normally like to talk about things because as far as I was concerned, it was an issue between her and I, but if it is going to extend to other people, here we go.
It should be noted - due to various past issues, Lilith has been here under a "one strike and you're out" deal, which Sarah Twilight is also here under. I don't want to debate THAT, but it was made clear that when Lilith came back, any further problems would result in a permanent ban. That was the agreement.
Anywho, the issue of his over-activity while not roleplaying came up amongst the admins. He had contacted me about being ready to return a while ago, but never actually told me that he was going to be roleplaying besides a match he had booked with Psychopomp for the PPV. I was okay with that.
However, not everyone likes one character getting involved with every single thing on the internet board, and being overly active and inserting yourself into everything can be an issue! Especially when it was one of the issues that Lilith had been spoken to about before. In fact, I added the rule about not spamming the internet boards to our rules page specifically because of him.
So I sent a message saying that we've been through this and to tone it down, and that if you're not actively roleplaying then you shouldn't really be all over the internet boards. This was later in the evening and I had two or three deathmatches to write by the time Rod responded. There was no threat of ban or anything, just "hey knock it off, calm down dude" basically.
Rod took serious offense to me asking him to tone down and my suggestion that he isn't usually a very active roleplayer. We both argued with each other and I won't say that we didn't, but at some point it was clear it wasn't getting anywhere. I told him that I was going to ban him for two weeks if he didn't just accept maybe he could calm down a little and to let me get to work. He continued arguing and wouldn't leave me alone when I asked him to, hence the ban.
Just to be clear, since I know he was accusing Corey Black of being biased against him - Corey never ever suggested a ban, that was all me because I was agitated that he couldn't accept what I feel was a simple request. Quite frankly, he has earned himself a permanent ban due to the stipulations he agreed to when he came back here. I'm going to waive that, against my better judgment.
This fed has been incredibly drama free for the past several weeks. I'd rather not let Lilith's actions here incite something. The main reason I'm posting this isn't to argue any of it - if you think I was wrong for banning her, I'm probably not going to change my mind about that!, I directly asked him to stop messaging me and he wouldn't.
But if anyone has any questions or anything, please feel free. This post is mostly for transparency, I really don't want misinformation out there!, especially in regards to the admin team or Corey being blamed for something that was 100% my decision.
