Is it just me, or does anyone else here seem to have trouble writing certain styles of wrestling?
For example. I put on a five star classic at Blast because I could do well with a technical wrestler, such that was Logan. However, and I'm noticing this in other feds, I can't seem to do much with a brawler (Or at least the ones I've dealt with so far). I'm not sure if it's the fact their moves are so limited or it's just their style in general that seems so blah to me, but I can't write more than a page before I realize "Wow, what the hell did I just write?"
Anyone else?

I sometimes have this trouble with powerhouse wrestlers. Brawlers can be difficult to write for too sometimes, yeah, I know exactly what you mean.

Thats when you have to have the creative juices flowing. It shouldn't matter if the guy you are facing is of one style or not. You know your character you know if he was real what you would do if the guy you are facing is like Kurt Angle or Stone Cold. If your a high flyer say I am going to run around you and you won't be able to catch me or something of that nature. It will come to you sooner or later keep on trying that all you can do.

Do I do a bad job of writing the powerhouse matches? Just because they have powerhouse/brawlers doesn't mean they don't snap into a technical wrestler mode and pull out moves you wouldn't expect. They do it all the time in WWE...

I dunno. I can see it out of Lashley if they stop making him Black Lesnar, but then you have your Snitksys of the world, and Chris Masters was lucky with the Masterlock, IMO.

Writing comes down to two basic premicies. One, just start writing and who gives a shit, two, every single style is writeable for if you think deep enough into the match. Old school ecw matches were a staple of that. Paul E. WAS A GOD DAMN GENIUS when it came to that.
