This isn't meant to make anyone feel bad; rather, this is meant to be both a way to talk about writing, and for me to settle a bet (and dammit I know I'm right).
In your opinion, which alignment is easier to write for, and why? What tips do you have to help write for particular alignments?
To me, I find that writing for heels is easier than writing for faces or tweeners. Heat can easily be created, but too much can backfire (I can think of one promo I read where a heel snuck off with a child and implied violating them, causing a big ol' tidal wave of drama). For heel work, I try to find fun ways to insult people rather than make generic insults (idiot, wimp, etc.); something more memorable that can stick out and maybe be put on a t-shirt (spunk-gargling fucktrumpet, for instance).

I would say tweener. I think it's hard to write a heel without redeeming features or some element of coolness. Arguably most established WWE wrestlers are tweeners. Face is definitely hardest to get down pat.

Tweener. This gives you the option of everything. What you can do as a heel, you can do as a tweener. And you have the added benefit of making alliances on both sides of the roster which further opens roleplaying dialogue. This also allows you to chose a moral ground on things that a heel would normally not do, which opens even more posting ideas.
Face can be easy, if given the right kind of character mindset and how well it gels with your own. Character gimmick can be applied as well much moreso with the face. Big Boss Man would be an easy one to write for, just because of his moral ground against rulebreakers. Any heel has a dirty past somewhere or some attitude against the crowd which would be offensive to BBM, and the idea and story would write itself.
Alignment to write for is only a part of it. Character build is more important.

I'm the only one that said Face so far...
I've done Heel, I've done Face, I've done everything in between. For me, writing as a Face is the easiest. It follows a personal code, which I also personally follow. You don't always have to be a "goody two-shoes" type Face, there are others out there. The Man of Honor is how I try to portray Bates. He will always try to do the right thing, even if he gets it wrong from time to time. I find it gives more story to the character than the generic "he's an asshole" gimmick.
I will say, Thomas Bates is the first character I've had that does his best to not curse. That has been hard.

Aside from being heel, Freeze hangs out with those who have honor. This usually includes war veterans and clergymen, which blurs the lines of face/heel but gives a depth of character dynamic that has allowed me to post as Freezer Burn for so many years.
When Freezer burn switched from Face to Heel, it was a good change for the character. Circumstances made him a heel with face pop for a long time, and that is probably the hardest to post for. It's easy to post as a face receiving heat from the fans. It's much harder to post as a heel receiving a face pop from the crowd.

Tweener FGTs.
Run Chaotic Neutral and be a man
" But ol' Z isnt that the same thing?"
Nah son, it aint
OOC:
Tweener is easiest cuz its a low short road to "I wanan be a bad guy but i want the fictional crowd to cheer me." Its some dumb ass shit. " I wana be stone cold steve austin and randy ortan but HBK, too." Get outaa here with that jazz. Pick heel, be heel. Pick face, be face.
ZMAC being Chaotic Neutral just means he has no predisposition modifier and I don't like running him face because that... ended with a bad hair cut. And I lost a hand for some reason.
*shrugs*

I like to run my character as tweener.
His life goal is to save the world from overcrowding which is the most serious threat to the world (in his eyes)
To do so he created the Zika virus and has plunged NYC into one month of rain and darkness so the demons of the depth can feast all with the goal of keeping humans alive by eliminating the ones that don't deserve to be.
I feel like that's pretty tweener. Maybe evil.

It's always best to let the character tell you what alignment it is. Never force a heel to be a face, and visa versa; it never works out. Nine times out of ten it's easier to be a heel, but that's not always the case. I've played both alignments, and been successful with both. The trick is always to just listen to the voice of the character, let it tell you.

"Tweener" or "neutral" to me are just synonyms for "cool heel".

Is Teddy blaze a heel yet? I mean I think so but I've been wrong before I'd say he turned heel when he cheated to beat Spencer Adams in the People's Title Match.

To me it's tweeter because you really get the benefits of both face and heel qualities. It's much less limiting

For my character, I was a tweener on purpose because he was trying to find some right, and just cause in the world. But, once Baron just saw chaos, and even face's being exploited, and heels just running amuck... Baron let his demons get to the best of him, and in turn, become the demon himself and thus a heel, then eventually an ultra-heel...Not, from possession within, but rather succumb to his natural inclination to combat heels and faces alike because he doesn't see the difference between either anymore... And, that just fuels his rage and anger more.
