There Mikey sat, his head against the wall, his body still aching from his match on Slam. The King of Death Match tournament had just been announced and Mikey read his assignment for the first match. The legendary giant, Odin Balfore.

mikey extreme: The former two time world champion, hardcore champion, internet champion, United States champion, two time tag team champion. The man stands in at damn near a hundred feet tall, and weighs about the size of a planet.

And this is who I get in the first match of the tournament?

Take out the biggest guy in the bracket first and sail to that Death Match championship round. Take out the almighty Odin Balfore and the whole roster will look at my differently. They will know that I am what I say I am, and they will be unable to take me lightly. They will have to deal with the fact that the King of eXtreme is the King of EVERYTHING.

You might as well add Death Match to my titles now. The King of eXtreme, the King of Darkness, The American King.. and now the King of Death Match. It has a nice ring to it, a nice ring that Odin will not take from me. A nice ring that will follow me from this point on.

Mikey laughs his usual sadistic laugh.

mikey extreme: They think they can put me down in the first, let these other guys ride the momentum of a possible loss and eliminate me? They’re out of their damn minds. They’re crazy to think I’m going to let anyone best me in this tournament.

I’ve never had the chance to step into the ring with Odin Balfore, but now, I step up to the plate to put down another historic piece of the WCF. I step up to the plate to put the big man through hell, and believe me, the thumbtacks will be the least of his worries. The thumbtacks will be NOTHING compared to the barrage of eXtreme that awaits him in MY ring.

Odin’s time has come and gone. This is my world now, this is my time to shine. The greatest competitor in the WCF will make his way to the top of the Death Match mountain and Mikey eXtreme will be crowned KING.

Mikey sits there laughing, his laughter echoes through the empty house in which he sits. He rocks back and forth as he begins speaking once again.

mikey extreme: A long long time ago, I set out on a journey to become the most brutal wrestler that had ever stepped foot inside this ring. The journey has had it’s highs and lows, championships have distracted me over the years, but I’ve never forgot my true calling. This King of Death Match tournament brings me closer and closer to my goals. This tournament was made for me to rise to the top.

Odin Balfore might be a huge obstacle to overcome, but the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Odin will fall Before me.. He will succumb to succumb to the darkness and I will walk away with two points in my hands. I will walk away with a lead in this tournament.

Odin Balfore is a mountain, but Mikey eXtreme is a conquerer.

Mikey rises to his feet.

mikey extreme: Over 50 wins inside the WCF, but he’s never stepped inside that ring with me. It’s a totally different experience when I show up to win, and it’s an entirely different experience when I show up to maim.

Odin, you’ve been warned.

Run.. stay clear of Philly on this night. I will not be an easy target, I will bring you the worst experience of your entire career.
