Murmurs from WCF HQ indicate that Seth Lerch's 'invitation' to the new US Champion, 'The Shine' Brent Alpine will result in yet another WCF departure for the Australian superstar.
Many witnesses can attest to Alpine causing an unpleasant scene with WCF officials immediately following Ultimate Showdown. Alpine vehemently complained about the accommodation he was booked in, as a fire alarm went off in the early hours of the morning. Not only this but Alpine noted feeling ill after he ate something at catering earlier in the day. It is The Shine's belief that Ultimate Showdown turned into Ultimate Sabotage with unknown parties doing anything they could to stop him from winning the WCF World Title.
Alpine's behaviour resurrected many doubts of the Rockhampton native's ability to represent the company professionally and some high profile figures are said to believe he's not living up to his promise. Although he has four and a half years to run on a lucrative contract, it is believed there is an exit clause that could be exploited. Alpine's manager Percy Micro is allegedly extremely disappointed in his 'commodity' after his disappointing showing on Sunday and might have a hand in this rumoured exit.
Running parallel to these rumours are speculation surrounding the United States Title. As the WCF continues to rebuild following the Mexico incident, there's talk that a title could be made obsolete to make the others more meaningful. Given the TV Title's increased importance of late and the other singles belts have an unique selling point, the US belt looks the most vulnerable. Especially given the rumours about its holder.
Slam should reveal more...

Just more opportunity for myself to capitalize on my 2 wins via pinfall at TUS, and show how a champion should be!

baron, was that you that attacked me the other week. I cared so little I almost forgot.
Good shot. Nothing like a good blind side.
Why don't we face off next week. You can get a main event match and I can kick your teeth down your throat

You can get a main event match and I can kick your teeth down your throat That's if you can kick that high. And, you have to consider the fact that I will knock your skull right off it's A/O joint.. And, you won't be able to have that fused back together. You were and are worthless in DRG when I was there, and I will gladly snap your neck for an easy cover. Hell, you cry about being blindsided.. We can make it a Lumberjack match so you won't whine or cry about it...Mano y Mano. Face to face... Anytime, anywhere.. Let's book it, so everyone can see you are just a belt polisher, not a champion.
