As I discussed with Mr. Lerch last week, I will be foretaking upon a new journey, a journey to chronicle the evolution of one Bobby Cairo. This may leave most of you saying, "Who gives a fuck?" Perhaps you are correct, dear sirs, but if nobody gives a fuck does that in any way diminish the experience of the journey? Of course not, you silly, limp-wristed, prog rock wankers. Without further ado, I would like to introduce the format of this new segment. Ostensibly, I will serve as the conduit of the education. This will allow all of you to take a critical and breathtaking view of some of Cairo's greatest and most embarrassing moments here in the WCF. Included will be such notable entries as roleplays and matches written by Cairo himself. I'm pretty sure that I'm allowed to re-post my roleplays without issue, but the matches I might need to get Seth's okay due to copyright issues. I'll have to talk to Seth about that or if Seth wants to respond once he reads this that would be cool. The reason why I've decided to do this is quite simple. Actually, there's a couple reasons. I look at these roleplay discussion forums and I see a lot of people asking for feedback, but, man, there has to be more than that. Why can't we take a critical look at our own work and really just make some hard decisions about what needs to be done? Who cares about the approval of others? I wouldn't care if people threw sandwiches at me as long as I wasn't seriously injured or killed. If you're not enjoying what you're doing then there's no point to any of this. Additionally, I couldn’t help but be overwhelmed by the positive response to some of my works. Now if I assume that 99% of those responses were sarcastic, that leaves approximately 1% of positive responses. That 1% represents people who gots to know what Cairo is all about. They need the "funky science". Basically, I'm trying to revive interest in the roleplay feedback forums in addition to taking a look inside of my not-quite-so-immortal soul and examining some things. All of you fine folks are invited to join me on my journey, it can be our journey. Or you can pretend this whole thing never happened and Cairo doesn't exist. The choice is yours.
