As stated in a previous OOC post I use to work crowd control and I got to meet a lot of people... I have meet famous people in other ways but I would have to say the following is a list of famous people.
to make this list these are people I actually had one on one conversations with or spent a lot of time with before or after their show.
Famous people that were cool
1) Tom Hanks- Movie set of road to perdition (a great experience )
2) Buck Cherry- had drinks and chilled with these guys
3) the Big Show- It was right after he cut his hair off and he was telling us why it was funny as shit.
4) Great white and CCR - I was 19 and they gave me a keg of beer I sat on the outside stage all night and had a party with my security guys that worked for me. this was a few months before the tragic fire.
5) Green Day- 1 was shooting his bow and arrow and the other was riding his bike around the parking lot early in the day it was funny.
Famous people that are douchebags that I spent time with
1) Kid Rock- Biggest piece of shit ever
2) Uncle cracker- learned from the biggest piece of shit

Stone Cold Steve Austin was cool.
Eminem was cool, but I met him before he was famous and I was a little kid. He lived in the trailer park where I grew up for a year or so. It was before Infinite.

I met Sgt. Slaughter at a car show
One time I served tables for a VH1 VJ (Ian something. The hard rock guy) and his credit card got declined.

Coolest:
Jim Shearer-- My great personal friend, and former bandmate, but former MTV 2 and now current VJ on VH1's top 20 show ********** Douchebag: [Tied]
Honky Tonk Man ( Wayne Ferris)--
He wouldn't stop complaining how he kept getting screwed in AWF (Jumping Jim Brunzell's Organization, after he left WWF and it was made up of ex-WWF talent.. Nailz, Mr. Hughes, etc.)
Virgil (Mike as I know him..real first name.)--- He lives near me here in Pitrsburgh area, and I used to run on a nature track near my house, and he was always there running too. I'd jog with him time to time. And like, Honky, he wouldn't stop complaining how Hogan held him back, and he was supposed to be part of some damn tour with him in Australia. He thought the world was supposed to be given to him.

Zack Johnson - the golfer - lived next to my grandma when he was a kid, thought he was the absolute shit at basketball at the time, total stuck up prick
Paul Wight - stopped at a truckstop in Altoona to get gas and enjoy a meal. There was only one table left open and he offered to share his with me. Pretty nice guy, mellow and loved to talk.
Test - asshole. wouldn't stop talking about how he was the next big thing in wrestling and how he was going to be world champion. Couldn't compliment someone to save his life.
Doink the Clown - years after his release from WWF/WWE he wrestled for a lot of indie feds throughout the central and midwest regions where I met him at HCWA. Ater the show, he stuck around to help take down the ring and he was always glad to answer any questions anyone had.Limp ass handshake from all the surgeries he had done on it and never let it slow him down from helping out.
AJ Styles - Also through HCWA, he went around BEFORE the show and asked people what they wanted to see, then he did it
Mary Moons - she was a wrestler back in the 60's and lived right across the river from my dad until she died. Always friendly and kinda flirty. Great personality until dementia claimed her mind, then she was always scared and confused.
Corey Taylor(Slipknot) - met him at a gas station in Ottumwa, IA. recognized him from his tattoos. It was very brief but he still talked in a way that made you feel comfortable.

I've met a few famous folks, some for longer than others. Looks like I'm going to meet even more soon enough though.
Met Charles Kelly when his wife's sister married my Cousin. He was very cool, very nice and polite, and playful with the kids. Funny thing; my daughter didn't know who he was, but when it clicked she started freaking out. He was sitting right behind her cracking up.
Briefly met David Allan Coe. He was so drunk he ran into a sliding glass door.
Ran into B.B. King, Jerry Lawler, etc. Not really enough to talk to them, but it was interesting.
Also met Senators, Representatives, State Legislators, Mayors, City Councilmen, etc.

I used to live in Greensburg actually. lol But, now I live minutes from Heinz Field. Jim Shearer (VH1) is from Etna section of Pittsburgh, and.. Last I checked, It was on Sundays.. But, I haven't watched it for a long time... Very cool you live in this area!

I don't have much experience here. Some athletes and some B-rate musicians.
I personally know Sam Bradford and his father Kent. Kent is probably the nicest human being on the planet. I honestly don't know if there's a person around with a bigger heart than Kent. My grandparents have known Kent since he played at OU, and it's funny because we didn't know Sam was his son until he was competing for the starting QB job at OU in 2007. And like I said, I've known Kent all my life. He would always say "my son" when talking about Sam and never one time did he bring up Sam playing sports, his accomplishments or his college recruitment. When Sam started to get hype during the summer of 2007 I told my grandmother "he has to be related to Kent...same last name and they look so much alike." So I asked him next chance I got, and he said "Yes, Sam is my son. He's a good kid." That's all he would say, and he still doesn't say a word about Sams career. After Sam won the Heisman he was in OKC with his dad a few weeks later and I got to meet him. And he's just like his dad, you couldn't ask to meet better people.
The first time I shook Kent Bradford's hand, my hand was sore the next day... I swear he broke the damn thing! He got me a team signed 2007 OU football for Christmas that year. It was soo random and surprising. He brought it up to my work a few days before Christmas - that's the best gift I've ever gotten for Christmas.
I met Mike Singletary when I was a kid. It didn't mean too much to me at the time.
I met Adrian Peterson at a gas station in Norman one day. It was like a 5sec encounter.
I coach little league basketball and my kids got to have a private session, goof around time for 3hrs with Serge Ibaka. I chrome plate shit for the oil field and our biggest customer is part Thunder owners, so we got hooked up.
Any musician I've ever met was a "meet and greet" thing. But Violent J was the nicest one of them all. He didn't try to push people through the meet and greet. He would take his time, give people free shit that drove from out of state...we spent 20min talkin to him and he was the one doing all the talking.
Honestly, ICP is the only group, or band, or musician I've met that actually gave a shit about their fans....everyone else I've met was "what's up!? Let's a take a pic, sign this...NEXT!!!" Slipknot was the worst at that. They were friendly, but it was like "let's get these people in and out quick!!"
My aunt dated the drummer for Def Leppard waaay back in the day. But she was a total groupie whore and still a worthless slut.

I guess each person has their own experience. Now, my fiance's brother (RIP @ age 34 from Diabetes ) met a lot of famous ppl because he used to work at the Hilton here in Pittsburgh, and he was the main concierge.. And, he smoked weed with Cypress Hill... lol And, he also was invited by Mike Piazza to have dinner with him, and other Mets players when they were in town to play the Pirates. My fiance said that her brother said Piazza was a very cool ass dude. And, same with Cypress Hill.
