IC is obvious. This is where you do shoots, promos, character development, storyline progressions. The things that the 'face' of e-fedding are made of.
OOC seems a bit more blurred, much more important for different reasons. We come OOC to reach out to the extended family we have become. To share the good and bad in our lives, for some. But there is an underlying reason that makes the OOC board so much more valuable than the IC board, in my opinion.
That reason is this. The OOC is a way to separate ourselves from the characters portrayed. To help keep that healthy separation between what is real and what is imaginary. Not just in ourselves, but in others we roleplay with and against. The last thing we need is someone to become his character, or for his character to become him, because this would mean, in general, some underlying psychological disorder that needs professional assistance.
Karma, somehow, seems to be a reflection of the views of others in both IC/OOC.
This is what I believe. Do you agree or disagree? What are your beliefs of the OOC board aside from a gathering of friends?

I 100% agree. We are friends and 'family' here, or at least should be.
The IC helps us 'vent', give us creative inspiration, or just distract us for the fun and competitive nature it brings, and our RL could help our IC in that respect.
But, as Freezer stated, we must not blur our IC AND OOC, because they are two entirely separate lives. And, sometimes it appears, that people may blur that line.

Karma I thought was a joke. I don't see it on my phone anyway which is how I primarily use the boards. Jay price instituted it during his brief foray as GM.
I say get rid of it if it upsets people. We know who the good ones are and who the bad ones are. The bad ones usually leave.

Battle.. I AM 100% bad. I am at negative 88 kharma, and I cry myself to sleep over it.. lmfao
Actually, I turned that kharma thing into a joke, and everyone started burying me.. Because, #1 everyone knew I was a big target and I can take a joke, & #2 I figured I'd might as well as use my character for some OOC fun. lol
If you can't laugh at yourself, then you are in the wrong efed. We are all good-natured jackasses, but also appreciate each other and our RL struggles and/or successes.
