Best: Do I have to pick? There's so many... the Star Trek movies, Stephen King movies, The Crow, Batman, Spaceballs, Spies Like Us, Stripes, Animal House, oh so many...
Worse: I'll be honest, I can't remember their names. I would get bored and fast forward to see if I even wanted to finish it. When I didn't, that was it.
I used to work at a movie rental store, which is an ancient store where people would have to go in and pay to borrow these boxes with tape inside that would play in an ancient device known as a VCR player...
I feel bad now.

I worked at the ancient Blockbuster a long time ago, so I know what you speak of lol. Ah, kindred spirit. I worked at a hole in the wall place up in Munford, Tennessee. It was fun, I got whatever movie I wanted. I also feel bad talking about game systems. There was a post not long ago on Facebook where everyone was talking about what their first game console was. They were listing Nintendo 64, Sony Genesis, etc. I had to put down Atari. Then there was a question at my old job of; what was the first CD you ever owned? My response was, "I don't know, but I had Journey on 8 Track." I'm already having to explain to my kids what it was like to not always have a phone handy.

You mean these? Damn. I had four of those tracks... We had three 8 Track players. One was this big thing that stood upright with a radio and all, another was a long stereo that also had a Record Player and eventually a Tape Player, another was a small portable one.

I, too, worked for a video store that was ONLY VCR tapes....
As matter of fact.. We rented Beta takes as well, but the bigger VCR pushed them out. And, also...rented out Laser Discs.. The huge ass record looking disc that has movies on them.
I remember getting in trouble at the store ...the TV was facing me behind desk, but it was waist high. The TV was tilted slightly so people in the store can see what is playing, and maybe 'entice' them to rent that movie, etc. We weren't allowed anything above PG-13 (well, PG..bc '13' didn't come out as a rating yet..lol)
So...anyways, I got in trouble because customers complained to the owner because I was watching the very 1st UFC, and also Faces Of Death.... among other things. lmfao)

I saw a Masters of the universe not that long ago and it made me cringe. Also Howard the duck was pretty terrible

Thomas we had the big wooden sony consule that had record player, am/fm stereo, 8-track, and cassette player then my mom got a more modern sony with all the same stuff. I bought one similar to the wooden one about a year ago for my home.

I grew up on 8-tracks, 33s & 45s vinyls.. And, the plastic spindle discs were in a cardboard box on top of the stereo, and I used to 'snap' them off between my middle finger and thumb, and hit my sister with them...lmao

Best: a toss-up between Hunchback of Notre Dame or Titan AE.
Worst: another toss-up, this time between Super Mario Bros. or Howard the Duck.

Back when I was a kid I loved the movie Troll. Then we rented Troll 2 and I was kind of aghast, like, what is this garbage? How is it SO bad? It's one of the very few movies I couldn't finish watching.
...as an adult, it has become one of my favorites now.
