So I am a Miz fan, been one since Real World... The dude loves wrestling and he wanted this to be his career forever. Now he has been champion of multiple titles and he's mainevented wrestlemania... Now the haters need to notice something, especially from the matches he has been putting on as of late...
GIVE HIM CREDIT FOR THE MATCHES HE HAS HAD WITH THE INDY DARLINGS! Come on, I know, people see the Miz and they think he's nothing special, but he truly is having some phenomenal matches lately. I just got done watching his match with Ambrose from Raw and it was well done.
I just want to give credit where it is due, not sure anyone else's opinions on The Miz.

I think he's super underrated. He's really solid in ring and he's one of the best at getting actual heat that isn't "this sucks and I want it off my TV" heat. I really wish his push as World Champion and main eventing Wrestlemania wouldn't have faded off and had him sink all the way back down the card...

I see him having a good run with the IC title, I for one would love to see Jo-Mo show back up and feud with him for it... I honestly could see their feud being as spectacular as that of Owens and Zayn, because they know each other just as well. I know Vince wants Morrison back and Morrison has been doing great in Lucha Underground as Johnny Mundo, but he did say he'd return one day to the E... No time like the present with the brand extension coming up. Just saying.
But I do agree with you Seth on The Miz's world title run, the same could be said for Mr. Zigglesworth too and his match with Rollins last night proved that.

I like the miz. I marked the duck out when he won the world title. It was legit emotional knowing the guy through the real world and all.
Anyone see the season of the real world challenge where he singlehandedly trounced literally everyone. It was ........
AWESOME!

The Miz is one of my favorites. Great brawler which isn't as common anymore, great mic worker, and generally great at psychology. I'd argue Miz as one of the biggest characters of the past decade given that he can literally be plugged in anywhere on the card and make it work.

He did the one thing most heels can't do. Make the character real.

As just a wrestler, taking only his skill at actually wrestling the guy is phenomenal but his gimmick is really over bearing he could do just as good in a subtler gimmick I think

funny thing is... He took advice well and that advice was, be yourself turned up to 11. He does it excellently and the best part... He turned JBL into a Miz believer because JBL HATED The Miz in the beginning and he did everything to make The Miz quit. Now he praises him on screen and off.

The thing I will always give the Miz credit on is that he is one of the best sellers on the roster.

Miz is the dogs bollocks... I wanna know who doesn't like him in the back, the guy is as others said great in the ring, excellent psychology and one of the best on the mic... Someone needs their ass kicked for holding him back...

Miz is one of the best upper midcard guys in the business. I don't think he works as a World Champion or the guy you build your company around but he is really excellent in his spot. Def one of the best guys on the mic and his Hollywood gimmick is spot on.

I also feel Miz is very underrated. The fact he is the current and multiple time IC champ though speaks volumes. Historically the IC Champion is almost always (with very few exceptions) the workhorse of the company. The guy that puts on classic matches each and every time he steps into the ring. That is definitely Miz.
As far as him as World Champ ... I loved it and his win at WM was like that payoff that usually doesn't happen. However, I don't think it should have faded as much as it did. I could see Miz as World Champ again. The heat he gets is legit and he can totally carry as a heel champion which is exactly what he did with the world title run they initially gave him.

Miz is a solid competitor, but I find his value to be greater as a marketing guy.

I agree with Sarah and Orbit. That was what I was thinking as well, definitely a very solid upper mid-carder.
And, also Dion, he's a better 'marketer' but that does transcend into 'ring psychology,' and that makes you more marketable when you are also a solid 'role player' on the roster, with great in-ring techniques and a great athelete.

I feel like his in ring stuff is what holds him back from being main event level. He's a very good, solid, average B+ worker. IMO, his mic work and his character are what makes him above average and he's better than most in those areas. I just don't know if I've ever been blown away by a Miz match-- he's always good, very capable, just nothing about his move set or in ring style really pops or stands out.

Agreed, and that's why I continue to use 'solid' as far as talent, persona, etc. He is not sub-par, but he is also not stellar. He is great in the role that he is currently embracing, and understanding, which is key to any backstage politics... IMO.

Will probably sound like a chose for this.... The same could be said for Hogan, Piper, Cena, Warrior... Etc...

Okay I started this thread and I'll state this after reading everyone's comments. I think the Miz works well with our Indy darlings and that should speak even more volumes for his talents in the ring. I could watch him and Cesaro feud for a long time. Hell I think him and Cody could've had a great feud (and I mean Cody not stardust).
I really would love to see John Morrison come back and pick up a feud with the miz because I think they could deliver almost on the level of Owens and zayn... I said almost lol.
