- Bells are tolling in the background. A dark hotel room of sorts. Curtain is closed, however to the left of it in the corner light shines in like heaven looking down on one of the brightest and greatest young men in professional wrestling. A body is under the covers in a twin bed. A thick blanket with flowers on it, pure white pillows, a messy bed-head, and a wooden head board with "Holiday Inn Japan" etched in. Torture leans upward from his Stomach and with one eye opened, he looks towards the window.
Torture: Oh, come on, CD. Anytime but now!
- Obviously, hearing the tolling outside, Torture sits up in plaid, green and blue, boxer shorts, with his necklace hanging down from his neck, his 'bling' silver watch made by Rolex, his tattoos of his scarred life. You know.. his soul. He walks over to the window and opens up the curtain. Torture is blinded by the sun. He quickly looks to the clock.
Torture: What the..
- It's passed noon. Torture is a difficult man. He's a business man, so waking up after noon is not a good work ethic. Torture notices seven floors below, however, the huge nightmare chamber being assembled, the entrance and all that jazz. Noticing hundreds of people around the blocked off area just wanting to take pictures, hoping an American Wrestler will be there. Maybe to get pictures, autographs, whatever the people want from them. Torture turns around and walks passed his bag on the floor, with clothes scattered around it, passed the unmade bed and turns right into the bathroom. After a few minutes, Torture comes out and slides some pants on, throws on a T-Shirt, and slips on some tennis shoes. Torture tacks some gel into the short hair of his and grabs his wallet and cell phone off the dresser. He opens the door and closes it behind him.
- Torture steps onto the elevator with two lovely Japanese women who are maids at the hotel. The elevator door closes. The two women keep looking at Torture and smiling to each other. The doors open on the first floor and the women step out. Torture chuckles to himself. The One and Only walks to the front door of the hotel and steps towards the sidewalk. He looks down one of the main streets, and notices a few hundred people walking up and down the sidewalks. He decides too as well. A journalist of some kind comes jogging up to Torture. Behind him is a man with a huge camera, with an even bigger lens.
Journalist: My name is Kio Adache! Can we ask a few questions!?
Torture: Why the hell not.
Kio: First things first, how do you like Tokyo?
Torture: I love it so far. I got in late last night, and was pleased with what I found. Awesome Pizza joint right down the street, made me feel at home, and I signed some autographs there. Anytime someone gets free pizza, I believe there is something special going on. I really want to explore today. With the hectic media schedule that Creeping Death and his associates have going on, today is my only free day. I really have to thank Creeping Death though for getting this together. I have never been here before, and as a huge Wrestling historian, and having a great respect for Professional Wrestling, I have always wanted to fight here. I love this place already.
Kio: Great. How is Thirteen looking so far for you? Were you surprised by your opponent, Mike Maida?
Torture: I was surprised at my the decision of my opponent. As of matter fact though, I'm not surprised Seth Lerch backed down. Let us not forget, whose really supposed to be in this match. This is supposed to be Seth vs Torture. Seth had the option of backing down, a call that I can not refute. He chose someone for his little Anti-Torture league, and apparently it's Mike Maida. Am I surprised? Yes. I am. Let us not forget, also, that I almost killed this man. This dude took everything from me at one point, or at least was part of the team that did. I almost killed him, and he was lucky he even lived seconds from his death, because he should already be six feet under. How does Thirteen look? Well, it looks like a show-stealer, that's for sure. This ranks right up there with One. Either way, I always laugh when WCF's two biggest events are titled by numbers. Back to the point..
Kio: You haven't wrestled for a while. What is the itch that is bringing you back, and will you be prepared for this match with ring rust obviously on your side?
Torture: I have prepared for this match in different ways, but in the same types of methods I have prepared for any match at any time in my career. Judging by my opponent though, I don't believe Mike has wrestled any time lately, so we're pretty even in that category. The itch that is bringing me back, is just a few loose ends. Seth Lerch is the main root here, with a few branches off leading to some other business ventures I need to capture. I really want to win the Television strap. I managed a TV Champion before, I'm a two time Peoples Champion, Hardcore Champion, International Champion, Tag Team Champion, World Champion, I really need that TV title. Maybe, Lerch would finally throw me in the history of Wrestling Championship Federation if he did. I've really beaten all I've needed to beat. No one in this Federation really threatens me too much, and thats including Danny Vice, Craven, Cairo, or Striker. None of those guys really scare me. Am I saying I could just walk in and kick their ass? No. I'm just saying i'm not intimidated by them. I'm here to settle some scores, and then we'll go from there. Maybe just move week to week.
Kio: Do you think this is your biggest match yet?
Torture: I never really got asked this question, but it's something I have thought about a lot and the only answer I ever come to agreement with is this; Every match since I won the Hardcore Title and held it the longest, and defended it the most successfully, which is still the record, I believe that everyone of my matches has been the biggest yet. Every one week after week has been bigger and bigger. Entertainment value going up? I don't know think so, but in my mind, and in a lot of peoples mind, it keeps getting momentum, and somehow the matches are bigger and bigger, and are more valuable in a whole. Every time I am in that ring, no one knows whats going to happen. I could get injured, I could pin. I could somehow submit. I just don't know, and no one else does. It's something I've lived with since I came into WCF, and it's something that plays in the back of my mind while I wrestle.
Kio: Thanks for the time Torture. Enjoy Tokyo. It's beautiful!
Torture: Thanks man.
- Torture, only a few feet away from the hotel looks back and notices a soft drink vending machine. He pulls his sunglasses out of his back pocket and slides them onto his face. He walks up to the vending machine when Torture slams into it face first, stumbles to the right, turns around and is punched directly into the face!
- Torture stumbles backwards into the hotels front glass doors. Mike Maida is attacking him! Torture kicks Mike to the gut and grabs his head and throws it into the glass door. Not breaking it, however, doing enough damage to get Maida even more upset. Torture stumbles and is now holding his head in the parking lot of the Hotel. Maida chases him down and clotheslines him from behind! Torture hits the pavement. Maida gets on top and throws a few punches. The T0rT tries to block as many as he can, but a few get to his face. Torture kicks Mike off of him. Torture rolls to his feet, as does Maida. Torture goes for a punch, but Mike blocks with his left and throws a right. Torture ducks but spins underneath the right arm grabbing it with his right arm and knee'ing Mike in the back. Mike bends backwards and Torture grabs the head/neck area of Maida. Obviously, the Tortures Device is coming next. However, the journalist, and a few other hotel officials, and pass-byers break it apart. Mike is throwing out every cuss word known to man, while Torture stands his ground ready to fight. The photographer is snapping pictures like little Daniel is in the crippler-crossface.
- Mike is held back to the street, while Torture is being pinned against someones innocent Nissan in the parking lot of the hotel. Mike just points and walks away. Torture puts his arms up as if to say "I'm right here. We can do this."
- Everything seems to calm back down. A bright and sunny day for Torture, not more than an hour awake, and he's already caught back into it again. The emotion, the insanity, the realism. The heart. The soul. It's all racing again. It's all here. Tortures palms are sweaty. Hair is standing on end. The blood is pumping. The nerves are twitching. And to think.. it's on Thursday Afternoon. It's not even Friday.
Torture: Oh, come on, CD. Anytime but now!
