They are back to calling it just the wwe championship. Guessing here but that makes me think they're bringing back the world heavyweight title with the split

Yeah I heard a lot of buzzing about this after RAW when Ambrose and Rollins were calling it the "WWE championship".
It makes sense-- how can you have a second legit brand without a World title?

plain and simple things are going to unfold like so... Steph is going to choose her own 'FACE' of the company and that's where the second world title will come into play.

Indeed more of the same on Smackdown. It's cool to see more people become world champs... but at the same time that kind of defeats the purpose. I want to see KO become THE champ someday, not really ONE OF TWO THE champs. That's weird.

This is just confirmation that bringing back a second champion it makes sense in a way because that's how the split van work have the guys fight over which title is more prestigious. now this is going to take great booking so hopefully wwe writers won't drop the ball mitb shows they can surprise us in some ways
