You're probably going to have to be more specific with your concerns. Is this about the manner your character was pinned at Blast? If so, my guess is the match writer had you lose by interference to get over Severan King's gimmick as a cult leader (since it was one of his followers that jumped you) and to also to protect your character since your loss wasn't clean.
My advice: message whoever wrote the match or Seth to be sure. You might want to contact Severan too about using the outcome of the contest as a build to a feud.

so on some real shit I don't care to job matches in the pursuit of driving an angle but it would be nice if I was at some point informed on what the fuck is going on On even realer shit Firstly I wrote the match secondly you and King as far as I was concerned where in the middle of a feud or at least you were a week ago when I wrote your other match and I was contacted to write King attacking you after that match, I was contacted at the very VERY last minute and was asked to put that kind of ending in for Severan I didn't bury you I followed a storyline as far as I was concerned was on going and did what I could to put you over as a sympathetic face learn what the term JOB MATCH actually fucking means before you throw it around eh? Jobbers don't sunset powerbomb dudes twice their size through tables on the outside and they lose clean not via interference sorry you lost dude but a chair shot is a lot easier to come back from than a clean pin which it would of been if Severan hadn't contacted me P.S. PMs are a beautiful thing, just keep that in mind so someone who has been here 5 minutes isn't insulting someone who has worked on this board for years at this point, doesn't exactly help your stock

Maybe you actually lost as far as roleplays are concerned and the interference was to keep you strong and keep a story going......

Also, its a game. Relax. I know that sometimes don't go our way, but a simple PM asking NICELY what happened is all this needed.
Just, breath, relax, and don't assume the worst. I keep trying to tell people that.

I'll be brutally honest here as well. Most people will NOT read an entire show and many won't even read matches other than their own. That's not to say the matches aren't important as they're part of the lore, but still. I bet you that not a single person came across your match and thought to themselves "Wow, what a fuckin' jobber!" Not a single one, except for yourself.

Albeit just a game, remember, just like in real pro wrestling... A 'loss' can also mean a 'win.' I'm referring to what others said, and my opinion also. A loss doesn't mean you are jobbing.. It could put someone else over, but also to help you be pointed in another, better direction (as in it makes your character angry, and you use that anger in your next RP, and perhaps explain that your character will come back harder, stronger, etc.) This is where creative RP'ing comes in.. It's not your win/loss ratio, or if you have a belt, but rather how you develop your character thereafter, AND HOW you bounce back from a loss. True champions or main eventers are also measure by what they do AFTER a loss. Plus, a loss, in your case, still has you in a strong position because it was via interference. So, that IS another point you can use you use for your next RP. My character is 0-2, and both on battle royals. I know my RPs are getting stronger, but during that event, it wasn't my time to win. So, I use those losses to display anger, rage, etc. in my RP and just talk briefly about it, but...quickly transition into 'What you WILL do at your next match, or in the future.' Sometimes, losses give you more creativity to write, and show emotion.
What I can tell you is... Win or lose, you are afforded many options in the direction of your character and the storytelling. And...how you react (OOC) can also build you or bury you. If you handle it right, more of us want to work WITH you in a match, because it will bring out the best storytelling, matches, etc. Just my 2 cents.
So, take losses in stride, and come back stronger.

Right and I can give two examples of people who lose and are regarded as winners. Myself and Teo Del Sol. Teddy Blaze is a badass and is the longest reigning people's champion in history, but he's said himself to me in chat multiple times that he actually doesn't win that often on a regular basis. Keep in mind, Teo Del Sol/Teddy Blaze is one of if not THE most valuable character in kayfabe. As for myself, people seem to think I'm pretty good, yet I have like a 14-20 record as Spencer Adams (I sucked when I started as well, but let this be food for thought)

I can't believe I'm about to agree with the Nazi but yeah. The outcome had already been decided. I contacted Caliban along with Kevin Bishop about working in a long term angle. Now it would have been very presumptuous of me to just message you and say "hey you are going to lose because xyz". Honestly, it was done to go more long term with my cult leader thing as well as build for a new alliance. Sean Craven's interference, while on the surface appears to be truly why you lost, is just a part of the game we play. Had you won the match he would have gotten involved anyway. Think of it like it could further a rivalry between us since I "had" to have someone come in and assist me. This isn't a knock on you or your character but instead a way to further drive you. Use this instance as motivation to come back and kick my ass.

Note: newbie in this community, but have RPed for years
The most important part of RP competition isn't a win. What is most important is what tells a better story. Is it frustrating to lose? Sure; no one likes to lose. It sucks to lose. However, losing is not the end of your character. Not everyone is going to have a Goldberg-style winning streak either. Winning can also suck. Sure, there are perks that go along with winning, but it isn't important.
If you only focus on your win/loss record, you're gonna have a bad time.

Spencer so awesome lol.
Listen to that man.
I think one of the biggest fallacies that people see in efedding is the idea that everyone has his own story.
It's KInda true on the surface, sure, but let's really think about this.
The shows each week are not like tales from the crypt. While it is a collection of stories, they do intertwine. Everyone's story has something to do with everyone else's.
If you want to have the best time, you have to have flexibility.
You want your character to be part of WCF, not WCF to be a plot device for YOUR story. If someone's starting a cult, you want to incorporate it. There is no real main character, and no main plot line. If your story is rigidly dependent on certain outcomes, you're handicapping yourself in the long run.
With that said, PMs are always reccomended! The best stories come from good communication.

The guy who created this thread. It was dropkixkgregory (so, I'm thinking that's the character Greg St. Mathews.) It appears he deleted his part of the thread he created, but I see his profile is still here... Hmmmmm, interesting. Maybe, he still took it personal, and didn't appreciate constructive feedback. Only a guess... I might be wrong. Who knows...
