How extreme does one have to be to be considered perfectly extreme? The answer is Mikey eXtreme. A man hell bent on becoming the best. A man hell bent on bringing pain and destruction to everyone he steps in the ring with.
This week is no different.
Nathaniel Chambers, the “perfection” champion. A championship that destroys the very fabric of the hardcore championship. A title that takes everything that makes the hardcore championship away from the hardcore championship.
And Nathan is proud of this?
Mikey could not believe that this coward was allowed to hold that championship. That this coward was able to bend the rules to help himself. But it didn't really matter, Nathan could stack the odds against Mikey all he wanted. There was no way that Mikey was going to allow Nathan to walk out holding his title. There was no way that Mikey was going to let Nathan walk out of that ring at all.
mikey extreme: They'll carry his lifeless carcass out on a stretcher, if I let them.
Memories of Mikey's match with Chelsea Armstrong fills his mind. She had so much potential, she had the entire WCF Galaxy behind her. She had a chance to take Mikey’s United States championship, but that meant she had to beat the King of eXtreme. That meant she had to do the impossible.
Where is Chelsea now?
After the destruction that Mikey brought her in that match, or after that match if you're being technical, you’ll never see her step foot in a WCF ring ever again. You'll never see her step foot in any wrestling ring.
Then there was Bernard Core.
Mikey stepped into a brutal two out of three falls match that saw a steel pipe and a kendo stick duel. In one of the most brutal matches in recent memory, Mikey did whatever was necessary in order to win. A broken kendo stick stabbing was all fair in this war as Mikey retained his championship
A match so brutal that Bernard Core had to step away from the WCF.
This lead Mikey to an all out war with Vengeance in which the championship switched hands twice with Mikey coming out on top. They battled so intensely that Vengeance decided to hang up the boots and step away.
Now, now it is Nathan's turn to find out the destruction that Mikey is capable of. Now it is Nathan's turn to feel the wrath of a sadistic madman with no morals. But, the only difference here is Mikey has his back against the wall.
“Only the champion gets to use the hardcore rules.”
Mikey wasn't sure if that was official, but if he could beat Nathaniel at his own game it would add to the embarrassment. It would make Mikey's win even more impressive, and it would solidify Mikey as one of the greats in the WCF.
Mikey isn't new to unfair match types. The infamous battle with Kaz Mazy and Danny Anderson comes to mind. A match where Mikey and Danny had only one arm as one arm was tied behind their respected backs. A match that Mikey was on his way to winning before a personal army had to interfere in order to strip the title away. He was also used to defending his title against two people in triple threat matches where he could lose the belt without being part of the decision.
But this, this was definitely different. This was a normal match for Mikey, but he had to be wary of the advantage that Nathaniel possessed. A hardcore match for Nathan. He had to make sure that a weapon or two didn't help aide Nathaniel’s chance of keeping his championship and he had to embarrass him in the process.
mikey extreme: Nathan thinks that he has a champions advantage in this match but he has nothing. He still has to step inside that ring with the greatest competitor in the WCF. He has to step up to the greatest leader in Mikey's America. And he has to do that in order to retain his title.
The pressure is on him.
How does he live with himself when he loses his own match? How does he explain this to his one fan that tunes in? He stacks the deck against me, but I'll use that deck to my advantage when I bury him underneath.
How does he live with himself after the King of eXtreme doesn't let him use his advantage. How does he live with himself when he becomes the laughing stock of the entire locker room? The laughing stock of the WCF Galaxy?
He’s already that laughing stock in my eyes. He lost this title the moment I won this shot. He lost that title once he heard my name.
Nathan can deny it, but he can't get me out of his head. He can't get rid of the fear of losing that title to the most relentless wrestler on the roster.
And that’s fair.
I wouldn't want to wrestle against me either. I am the greatest United States champion in WCF history. I'm a member of one of the greatest stables in WCF history. Now my journey to become the greatest hardcore champion of all time starts.
Nathan Chambers will be the first of many victims during this hardcore renaissance. The dark ages of Perfection will be pushed behind us and forgotten. They will be out shadowed and crushed by the age of eXtreme.
These weren't just words or dreams. This was all truth to Mikey eXtreme. He didn't just think these things, he was going to make them happen. He was going to put his body through hell to bring an end of the perfection division. He was going to do his duty to rid this division of the cancer known as Nathan Chambers.
The WCF Galaxy was in for a treat.
The WCF was in for the return of true hardcore wrestling lead by Mikey eXtreme. They were in for the most brutal and sadistic matches they have ever seen. This wasn't the hardcore style of Nathan Chambers, this was something eXtreme.
The Age of eXtreme is upon us.
