[We open to the front doors of 'Club Chaos' in St. Louis, Missouri. We pan through the bar that is not very crowded. People are enjoying their drinks, but the dance floor is not busy at all. We go into a V.I.P. section where Vic Viceroy is sitting by himself. He is dressed in jeans and a black button up shirt. In his right hand is a White Russian about half full. As the camera gets closer, Viceroy finishes his drink and sets it down on the table beside him. He looks to the ground, sighs, and then lifts his head up.]
Viceroy: WCF. Let me formally introduce myself. My name is Vic Viceroy. I'm no rookie. I don't need money. I don't need fame. Hell I don't even need victories. I have an issue where I just need to fight.
Viceroy: I've already had my time in the spotlight. I've won championships. I've managed champions. I've ran federations. I've done commentary. I've been the referee.
[Viceroy pauses to think and bit.]
Viceroy: I don't think I've ever rang the bell before unless it was over someone's head. My point is...I don't have to prove anything, to anyone. It's been 5 years since I seriously competed in the ring. But that's the problem. I need serious competition. So word came to me from an acquaintance that the WCF was out recruiting for more talent. I thought to myself...self...could you get back in the ring and do it all over again? I thought what the hell, let's do it. I'll get in the ring....bash some heads....and either way I am a winner because I get to fight. That's all I've ever really wanted to do is fight.
[Vic swallows hard and purses his lips together. He grabs his drink and takes a longer draw off it down to the ice. He shakes his head and begins speaking again.]
Vic: That was the plan anyway. I applied. I got booked. I went in there with the intent to fight, and fight I did. I knocked some teeth. I got my teeth knocked. I loved it. But then...then it happened. Laying on the mat after I lost I looked up and thought damn I can still go. But then I saw Lester Parish getting his hand raised. And the guy who just wanted to fight, couldn't do that anymore. No. I couldn't just go out there and fight. I need to go out there and win.
[Viceroy places his tongue in his cheek and shakes his head.]
Viceroy: I can't do it. I cannot be that guy who just comes in and gives a beating for a bit and takes a beating for a beat. I need to be THE best at everything I do. I cannot be that guy that just comes to work and puts in his time. So now things change. Lester Parish is getting opportunities and I am stuck in a battle royal with other tools that management doesn't know if they'll cut it or not. Lester...congrats. But make sure you keep looking in the rearview because down the line, we will meet again, and if you don't watch yourself I'll flatten you bro. But you and I both have other fish to fry. So I know that Dee Norm is in this thing, but the other 6 tools I know nothing about and I don't care. All I know is when the dust settles, MY hand will get raised....and my opportunities will come.
[Viceroy finishes his drink....winks at the camera and we switch to a Vic Viceroy graphic.]
