Searching for a Legend (Part 1)
{Act 1}
The scene opens up inside an airport. We see Excalibur and a man who we have not met yet. They are waiting in line to check in for a flight. Excalibur seems annoyed. The unfamiliar man beside Excalibur speaks. He speaks in a strong Dublin accent.
?: Why are we here again?
Excalibur looks at the man, in disbelief. Excalibur is angry. Excalibur responds.
Excalibur: Are you kidding? You forgot already?
?: Yeah sorry.....
Excalibur: *sigggggghhhh* Well, I suppose I have to explain it all over again....
{Act 2}
The scene opens up inside a taxi, where Excalibur and the man we saw previously sit in the back, giving directions to the taxi driver. The camera focuses its attention to window. It is a still, dark night. We see a quiet, lifeless highway which the taxi is currently travelling on. Excalibur is having a conversation with the taxi driver in Spanish as the other man is just sitting there looking confused, as he doesn't speak Spanish.
Taxi Driver: Ciudad de Panamá, sí?
Excalibur: Sí por favor
The driver turns around for a moment and looks at the unknown man. The man just stares back as he doesn't know what to say. The driver starts to talk to Excalibur again.
Driver: ¿Su amigo habla español?
Excalibur: No, él es de Irlanda
Driver: Oh, Irlanda, país agradable, mi primo vive allí
There is an awkward silence in the car. We can almost hear a noises from a cricket. Eventually, the man who is sitting beside Excalibur breaks this silence.
?: So, why are we here again?
Excalibur justs stops and stares at the man. It is almost a look of disgust.
Excalibur: Did you actually forget already?
?: Maybe......
Excalibur: *sighhhhh* Why am I surprised.
Excalibur explains the whole story to the man. The story is long, long enough that any english teacher would be proud. Whilst Excalibur explains this, the camera pans to the taxi drivers face. All we can see is blue eyes and a spiral tattoo on the side of his face.
?: Oh.. So what does he look like again?
Excalibur: He has no hair whatsoever, blue eyes....oh! And a long spiral tattoo on the side of his face. I thought you would know this Eddie.
Eddie: This should be easy then, right?
Excalibur: Not really, I haven't seen him for 5 years. The last time I talked to him was.....
Eddie: During the decline of UUW?
Excalibur: Yep, the day both of us left. He tried to persuade me to stay but I had to leave.
Eddie: I'm sure we'll find him eventually..
Excalibur: I know, but you know him, he has his ways. He knows how to get things done inside Panama City without having to be in Panama at all!
Eddie: Yeah, maybe you're right....
Excalibur: Aren't I always?
Nothing happens in the taxi for a while. Suddenly, we see the taxi turn a right and come to an abrupt stop.
Driver: Eso será de 5 dólares 50 centavos, individuos
Excalibur pays the driver 5 dollars and 50 cents.
Excalibur: Gracias
Excalibur and Eddie exit the taxi. The camera is still focused on the driver, who notices the camera. He takes off his cap to reveal no hair. He quickly puts a finger up to his lips as he puts his cap back on again. The scene fades to black.
Act 3
Later that day..
The scene opens up to Excalibur and Eddie walking down a long path. It is late, approximately 3 a.m. It is windy. We can see tree's swaying in the background. Eddie is wearing a black hoodie.
Eventually, they come across a small bungalo house. We can't see any lights in the windows of the house, indicating that nobody is home. Excalibur whips a key out of his pocket and starts to open the door.
Eddie: You still have that copy of his house key?
Excalibur: Of course I do.
Excalibur opens the door and rushes inside the house. He flicks a couple of light switches on, revealing a load of framed photos and posters covering the walls. The camera focuses on some of these, showing us photo's of Excalibur and “Los Gos” The man whom they are looking for. There are also tons of Los Gos posters all over the house
Eddie: He always was cocky..
Excalibur reaches a coffee table, which he quickly scans for any information. All he finds are bills, until he comes across a letter, addressed to Excalibur. He picks this up and reads it
Letter:
Dear Excalibur,
If you are reading this then, first how did you get into my home?!?, and second, you must be looking for me. You have come to my house to search for me, but I am long gone.
If you want to find me you must do two things:
(1). Trust Eddie. He may be a dumb son of a b!tch....but he could be very helpful...
(2). Stop reading this and run! Come on! Catch me if you can....
Sincerely,
LOS GOS
Act 4: Finally in the Present
Eddie: So, where are we going now?
Excalibur: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. For Blast. I need you with me......
Eddie: Why?
Excalibur: You'll see....
Excalibur looks deep into the camera lens, menacingly.
Lots of people have laughed at me during my short career. Teddy Blaze, the people, and Adam Young. Don't even get me started on that guy. He said I wasn't welcome here, he attacked me, The Empire attacked me. But, despite the antics of that iditoic, mindless group “The Empire”, I could still win a championship. Adam Young, if you want me out of this company, then face me, face-to-face in that ring, instead of getting your *bleep* squad to do it for you.
We are only days away from Blast. We have got the WCF Classic Finals! We have got Thomas Urial Bates vs Dag Riddik! But we also have, the match where Excalibur wins it all, Excalibur vs Teddy Blaze vs Adam Young for the People's Championship.
Teo Del Blaze.... I mean Teddy Blaze, I'm coming for your People's Championship. It won't be the “People's Championship” after I've won it. Adam, for once we've actually agreed on something: That the bad guys have had nothing to fight for, for too long now. However, I wouldn't call it something as dimwitted like the “Heel Championship”. No, no. I'd call it the “Silver Bullet Championship”
I'm leaving Blast as the newly proclaimed People's... I mean Silver Bullet Champion. I will prove to you all, especially to The Empire, that I'm one of the best around in WCF.
