Why do you guys do this (this as in e-fed)? I do it because I like to write, and not all dark and weird like some of the gothic kids you see at school. I don't sit at lunch and read poetry, I don't draw pictures of unicorns, I just like to write stories and I figure this is the most masculine way I can do it. I know some people do this because they like wrestling and like being able to have a created wrestler involved in stories.
Do other people (besides the people you fed with) know you RP? To me, RP brings about a sexual term or weird kid stigma. I've never told anyone who isn't on this board about this, and I definantly don't let them know I secretly tolerate wrestling. I dunno, it just seems like something that would embarass me, especially if I'm talking to a girl.
Girl: "So, what do you do for fun?"
Me: "Well, I do go home and get on an online message board with people I don't know and write about being an online wrestler. I spend a good portion of the week coming up with ideas to write about and make fun of my opponents. It's a blast."
I just don't think she'd understand...
3: Do 6 good RP's beat 3 great RP's? If a total of 4 RP's go into a singles match, and one guy has the best and worst, does he still win? Like, his best is just badass, but his worst is...ya know...

I like to write when it is RPs or matches, and maybe songs, but NOTHING ELSE. God I hate everything else. And, overall, it's fun.
I've told my current girlfriend, and she even helped me do an RP once. Anyone else, like RJ or Alastair, I know them outside of WCF and stuff, so they know.

I don't know anyone else who lives near me that feds, but I know I still enjoy it.
The reason I write is because I find it better than real wrestling, to be honest. I'm such a non-physical person and this is the closest thing to real wrestling that one can get. Besides that, it helps my creative writing skills and I really enjoy developing characters through it.
A few of my friends know I rp, although they don't really mind or care or think I'm gay.

I do it for the writing. When I started off, my writing skills were pretty meh and lasted a whole paragraphed, but as I watched, learned, progressed and such, I was able to make four page classics. ;D
My closest friends on and offline know I do it, but they don't really care.

I'm about to start paying someone to RP for me. Anywho, to get back to the subject at hand.. I was kind've buzzed one night with my older brother the other week whom runs the company I currently work for, and we we're at his house. I then thought I would tell him of my other "skills" besides just doing concrete, so I got on his computer, and showed him the WCF site. Explained some stuff to him, blah, told him of my current fued with Jack o' Blades for the belt, he read some of my old stuff, blah.. he thought it was cool, and he's 40 years old. But yeah, besides my brother, girlfriend, and other bother.. their probably the only people whom know me as "The Face of Treachery". OH! AND LOL! My brother has been using the term boudle lately. Ownage. Also.. no work for me today, I should probably RP, but Blades owns my pants.

Good question, and one I've never been able to really answer to my own satisfaction, which is probably why I've been so on and off with this the past few years. To me it's a big deal that everything I do have some sort of purpose. I can't do something just because it's fun. I think the best explanation is something like what was said earlier, that this is as close as I can to actually being a pro wrestler without hurting myself. Also I have thought of it as a way to help with my writing skills, because this is pretty much the only kind of writing I don't absolutely hate. I don't think I've talked with anyone about it in about 6+ years, but back when I started I told my sister and some friends about it trying to get them to join. That was back in middle school so it didn't seem so bad that I was basically playing make-believe. From my point of view there are no blanket rules that can be applied to this sort of thing. It's a case-by-case basis. What it really comes down to for judging RPs in general is, taken as a whole, how entertaining was one person compared to the other, and how much effort did it seem was put into it?

I have no idea why I run this place. I can't bring myself to RP anymore seriously, but I do enjoy this. I don't know why. Its satisfying, it makes me feel like I'm doing something important, even if really, I'm not.
I've told very few people "in real life" about it. I can't think of anyone, but I could swear I had. Everyone knows I'm a wrestling fan, but I have 0 wrestling fan friends so it doesn't come up often.

I actually do this for my love of wrestling and how much I wish I could be a wrestler or be involved with wrestling. People tell me all the time that I sell moves better than some of the wrestlers on tv and that I have great mic skills. I called it "having a personality". lol I love efeds and feel they are a great way to make friends that share common interests. I also feel they are a great way to help improve your writing skills and have recommended efeds to several people looking to do so. Several people I know do know I'm in efeds, Adam, in real life is actually my cousin by marriage. We've had several friends from the same town as us roleplay with us along with some of my family members. (Brother and cousins) I'd say 4 of my closest friends have roleplayed with Adam and I before and know we do it now, 2 cousins have tried roleplaying before of mine, and my brother has tried to roleplay and won the cruiserweight title once. I also have a friend I met at college that was trying to roleplay with me at one time as well, but he hasn't had anytime to get on here lately. Grading roleplays; it is all about QUALITY not QUANTITY and yes it is possible that someone could do 4 rps and beat someone that does 6 rps. If I read rps that they keep my interest and gives me the "want to" to read them through to find out what is happening next, then I say those are the best roleplays. I've always enjoyed reading Adam's rps because they are funny, interesting, and I'm always wanting to know what happens next. I also enjoy reading Striker's, Lawnmower Jones', and Logan's rps because I enjoy them and want to know what happens next. This doesn't mean that I don't like reading the other rps too, these 4 just really jump out at me right now. But there is another thing that always aids in my grading roleplays, that's EFFORT. I feel like effort should be rewarded some how whether it be a title shot or a major angle, if someone rps for every show and don't ever complain about anything and are doing 2 or more rps per show then something should happen well for them.
