OOC: So, because of the confusion and the situation with my last rp, I have wrote a new one (took one that I wrote for Blast and changed it) to use as my one for the upcoming Slam. Somebody please notify Apocalypse and Severan.

A Rough-Looking Village
We see Excalibur walking through a small desert village. There are small merchants' stalls around every corner, with poor, hungry people trying to scrape together every last coin they can find. As Excalibur walks through this village, lots of small children see him. They begin to huddle around him, amazed at the masked man.
Children: Excalibur! Help us! We love you!
Excalibur walks on, with a group of small children following him. He sees one of the children walk over to a bakery stall as if he wanted to buy something, and quickly steals a loaf of bread from the stall and sprints away.
Excalibur: *exhales* Another day, another poor child stealing from another rich merchant. And, yet again, the merchant is too greedy and self-centred to let that one loaf of bread go.
Excalibur: Some will say that the child deserves to be punished. Those who say that, are those who have no problems in life whatsoever, those who have a dinner to go home to, those who don't go to bed hungry, those who will never know how it feels like to be uncertain if they'll be alive tomorrow or not.
Excalibur walks over to the merchant who has just been robbed.
Excalibur: You do know that the child who just stole from you might just live another week because he stole that bread?
The merchant turns around to Excalibur. The merchant looks disgusted and confused.
Merchant: Does it look like I care? I just want a profit, not little devils running around messing with my goods.
Excalibur turns away from the merchant. He slowly starts to walk away.
Excalibur: Just don't.....
Merchant: Don't what? And you are? Mystery Man? You look like a batman-wannabe
Excalibur turns around to the merchant. We can see a look of pure frustration on the face of Excalibur.
Excalibur: I'll make you regret that you ever said those words.....
Excalibur turns around and walks away again. In the background we can see the merchant, he is laughing, laughing so hard that he is nearly falling over. Excalibur walks over to the group of children, who are still following him. He motions to them to follow him over to a group of big rocks at the end of the village. Once they get to these rocks Excalibur sits down on one, all of the children huddle around Excalibur as they're interested in what he has to say.
Excalibur: Children, I would like to tell you all a little, short story from my own childhood.
Excalibur: It all started right in this village, I lived in that house right there *points to small house on the left side of the village* My mother was a cleaner, she cleaned the stalls at night. She was paid very little for her work. My father, well, I never really knew my father. I remember talking to him when I was 4, he said; “Son, look at me, do I look like a rich man? Do I wear expensive clothes? Do I eat expensive food? Do I live in an expensive house? No, I don't. But just because I have failed to live a prosperous life, it doesn't mean that you can't. I want you to grab every opportunity with both hands. And when life gives you rewards, don't rub it in the poor's faces. Share your wealth.” This is something that, to this day, I live by. I'm sorry I can't share my wealth with you today. I forgot to go to an ATM. But I want you to live by this phrase too.
The children shake their heads, approvingly, at Excalibur.
Excalibur: Adam Young, you call me a thief, you say that I steal things, you call me wrong things, accuse me of wrong things. Well I have something to tell you: Stealing kept me alive. It helped me. It kept me alive at times when I could've died. You don't know what it feels like though. You don't know what it feels like to be scared for your health, to be scared for your safety and the safety of those around you. You don't even care for those around you, all you care about is yourself.
Excalibur: These children here with me today, they know the pain. They know the agony. They know what it feels like be truly scared. These are the children, the children who, even at Christmas time when the rich kids are opening presents, these children are left to wander the cruel, cruel streets. These are the children Adam who stare outside shop windows, wanting, wanting and wanting but never getting.
Excalibur: But, I don't have the time to focus on The Empire at the moment. I must focus on my next match. With Severan King
Excalibur: Severan King...the cult leader from Jackson, Mississippi...
Excalibur: Well, what is there to say? Severan, I've heard about you. I've heard some of your “sermons” and the only word that can describe them is; “hypocritical”
Excalibur: You talk about how we must avoid hatred, yet you talk about your hate for Greg St Matthews and HMM Logan.
Excalibur: You say that we are all just humble servants, equal in the eyes of the Lord. Maybe we are all equal in the eyes of the lord, but we are not servants, you must be misunderstood, I am nobody's servant.
Excalibur: You say you have a great following, a following of what? 2 people? I love the way how you try to act tough, but in reality, you're just weak and scared. Scared of the truth, the truth that you are not right, that you're not a messenger of God, that you're talking complete and utter bullsh!t.
Excalibur pauses
Excalibur: Tonight, I shall make you realise the truth.
Excalibur: MY TRUTH!
Excalibur, realising that he is going off topic, dismmisses the young children. The children scatter in all directions, all that is left is Excalibur sitting alone on the rock.
Excalibur: Adam Young, Severan King, everybody, you all call me a thief and a coward. So what if I am a thief? Stealing? It kept me alive.
Stealing? It Kept Me Alive
