This is nothing. Back during the last Stable Wars, we were cranking out 20,000+ word Roleplays. I know I broke the barrier, so did The Game (as another character), and several others. Several of us might as well have been writing novels. ICE Beckman was well known for doing at last 20,000 every roleplay.

I don't think I was that long/talented of a writer when I joined. Give it time, the longer you last and the higher the competition you face brings out the best in you. |

It can get a little bit crazy with roleplays and the length of them. I remember some time back we made a "gentleman's agreement" to not use more than 10,000 words per roleplay. I'm not sure if that's still around though, not that it was ever binding.
It seems to me though that a lot of the people are cutting shorter roleplays. I don't know if another agreement was made or not, but it does strike me as odd.

I remember when I used to join feds and you'd see a guy post like 750-1000 words and it was pretty much game over.

At that point I decided "Yeah, I'm never doing that again." |
