I read an article comparing enzo and Cass to the new age outlaws what do you think? I see it in the energy and the way they cut the promo at entrance but that's it

The only real similarity is that they both always cut pre match promos, but you're right, they're really not too similar otherwise. I've never been a huge fan of the NAO so I feel like Enzo and Cass are more talented - even though they're barely past developmental!

In-ring ability wise, yeah, surely Enzo & Cass are better.

I never thought road dogg and Billy Gunn could really wrestle but enzo and Cass really do seem to be pretty well rounded it's not much of a comparison.

In-ring ability wise, yeah, surely Enzo & Cass are better. It really isn't that clean cut. Gunn and Road Dogg were very, very solid - as were all the mid card nobodies of that era. Enzo and Cass aren't dudes that cut their chops in the indies or anything, they're very inexperienced compared to most of the rest of the current roster, and definitely compared to dudes like Gunn and Road Dogg. That said, the quality of wrestling expected from everyone since the NAO era versus this era has greatly risen and Enzo and Cass have given us some good in ring performances... but nothing close to great. I'd say the same about the NAO, they never did anything great, in ring wise, but the expectations were very different too. So it's not cut and dry.

Enzo and case have said in interviews how much they admired the NAO and how honored they are to be considered similar to them
There's no doubt that they were influenced by them. Wrestling style is completely different as is their dynamic in the ring but I can see why you would say they're similar for sure.

I think that it is hard to compare any two teams, or two wrestlers for that matter, from different eras with some distance between them. John Cena vs Bruno Samartino, for example, would be a horrible comparison since they are products of vastly different eras. That being said I think that the roster for now is a good fit for Enzo and Cass even with them never cutting teeth in the indies. Whereas, the Attitude Era was great and worked well for NAO but I don't think either team would do extremely well in the other team's respective era. The only real comparison you can make is that they both speak in their intro and they both talk a hell of a lot of shit in general.

Billy Gunn is and always will be a giant sack of fuck. Fuck him. Say what you want but the Ass Man theme is the best theme in wrestling history

I'm glad Enzo made a good recovery and that they decided to keep Team Sawft together.
And I do see the similarities with the NAO but their differences as well.
