I'm just going to be blunt because it seems no one else has brought it to you guys' attention yet: All the new guys' RPs are too short. You've got to have at least 3k to be competitive here. This isn't saying anything about whether you're a good or bad writer, just simply, write more.

I wasn't sure because I saw some where people who had been here for a bit had put out some really short RPs and conversely I've seen some fucking novels. But thank you for the bluntness I really do appreciate it.

I don't buy into the long roleplay thing. Mine typically come in around 1500. Granted I'm fairly new as well but don't write just for the sake of hitting a number. Tell your story, don't force it. It's obvious when something is forced.
Granted, yours was really short this week so a little more length is a must but don't just assign a number. Tell a good engaging story and you'll do well.
My advice has always been not to write to win, write to tell a story you are enjoying and the wins will come

It's obvious when something is forced. With that in mind I think once I get back into the swing of things they'll be a lot better. Also, knowing nothing going into a match makes it hard to trash talk. I may just cancel that one out and do another one later on when I have something to work with.

I think part of the reason I was so lost is because I've never done an RP for a tag team match where I wasn't controlling both people. It's a minor thing but having been gone so long it's an annoyance lol. Still thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm just going to do a better one later on.

It was not a bad start at all. The character was communicated well and the dialogue was interesting.
I'd say that Riddik is correct in that winning RPs here do tend to be a little longer but I also very much agree with Neforian that it's important to focus on quality and your own enjoyment over hitting an illusory word limit. This federation is quite exhausting at times and the top guys here write several thousand words. It's unhealthy to do that just for the sake of it. Especially as you are new to the fed and haven't RPed for a while. It may take a while for you to really grow into the character. When you're rolling and you've started proper feuds, relationships and stories here, you'll naturally be inspired to write more.
You seem to do the cult leader character well but, in my very honest view, it's a gimmick that's been done a lot (both in WWE and here). I'd strongly advise some sort of twist on the character.
Good to see you here and hoping you have a long, successful and, most importantly, fun time in the WCF.

Good to see you here and hoping you have a long, successful and, most importantly, fun time in the WCF. Appreciate the feedback. I honestly am kind of doing a Brother Love meets Bray Wyatt twist to it. As my character grows a develops this may change. I honestly agree with you, once I get into story lines or feuds my ability will grow. Blind RPing sucks for everyone involved. No direct path to go to, not sure who I'm going against, and it isn't fun to read at all. If you have anything you think I could do to improve the Cult leader gimmick shoot me a message I'm always down for new ideas.
