So to be straight with you guys I have no more stories left to tell you, I haven't got any belief in my characters the way I did with Caliban and changing them up mindlessly is not helping so I have decided to stop writing, this is not me pulling out of WCF I instead would like to propose something else. Seth if you read this I would like you to consider this my resignation from the active roster and APPLICATION for the writing team, if it is ok with you I would very much like it if you or whoever puts out the card would automatically assign me a match or even put a cool random one together in mind for me to write instead of a place on the card, match writing is something I started doing here but don't get too anymore and it was possibly what made me love this place above all else.
So yeah even if it's just writing a new blood show opener banger every week or something I'd very much like to do this that way while I am not RPing anymore I can still be part of getting this place back on track

Also reasons for me not just going and signing up are 2 fold, A. I am a lazy bastard but if my names put on something weekly with a deadline I will have more drive to do it knowing I am being counted on because again I am a lazy bastard and B. It gives me something to look forward to like you guys do the card  |

That's a shame you won't be an active character but a great offer of match writing. I remember from our Sequitus days of how good you were at putting together spots etc.

Ill rp again at some point but right now my hearts not in it I got other stuff I need all my character development skills for but this will be a good exercise in action scene writing and pacing

Always sucks to see the end of a character but we all know how that story goes, if your heart's not in the writing it never reads the same. Hopefully Seth'll sort you out with a writing spot and you stick around OOC dude. Sorry we never got a match and happy trails.

It sucks you're done!
But, on the plus side, you'll still be here OOC and you'll still be contributing (and in a very important role at that).
Another plus side, you'll still be around with an eye on everything so if the itch is ever there for a short return or the perfect story situation comes up for your character(s) you could always jump back in.

Honestly you auto taking a match each week is the best thing you could do for us if you're not going to be rping. Glad youre gonna stick around ooc

Yeah, I absolutely 100% understand where you're coming from. Truthfully I want to roleplay myself, somewhere not here obviously - but I feel the same, I don't have any stories to tell and I've only ever really written with one character ... so I don't. I totally get you!
And yes, your match writing talents are incredibly, incredibly helpful. I'll even whip you up your very own user title! I can't guarantee the person that posts the match writing thread will remember to assign you, but I'll try to do it the first chance I get if not.

See as I've eluded to before I have another board I'm still using Caliban on but it's more just straight shoot based with minor scene building and story development, obviously those things help but unless you're going for a belt the guys on the board tend to have like 2000 word gentlemen's agreement. They only RP once every couple of weeks and they rotate the roster so everyone gets a consistent amount of time off from RPing so nobody gets burnt out (the talent pools also a walkover compared to here which is nice and satisfying lol) but I'll stop talking about that before CD comes in with a hammer for me lol Well damn feeling like Mace Windu over here with my own color lol good choice too, if my names not on the card Ill just sign up as normal and if you have something in particular you want me to write lemme know and I can either change or do both |
