The setting in the stroke of midnight was calm, and eerie. The glass hall was turned for the beautiful night of dancing, and exquisite fashion. Only the richest, and most established were invited from all over of Hollywood California to take part in this Masquerade Ball hosted in his honors. The Chamber of Secrets was the name given to the desired location. As he arrived at front of this three story building coated in nothing but silver, and gold, a valet opened the last door on the right side of the black limousine. A foot stepped out covered with fine leather of dress shoes before a man dressed in the finest Corinthian white silk suit stepped out holding the hand of a beautiful voluptuous Hispanic world renowned model. His Caucasian skin was sooth, and glistening. Brown hair let down, and his toned muscular form imprinting through the sleeves as he fixed his Crystal wrist watch of antique nature. The model came dressed in a see through black dress ending at her knees with Dolce & Cabana high heels to finish the job. A Gucci handbang held in her left hand, and both with Masquerade Masks portraying the Dracula era of the Van Helsing movie.
Nathan Chambers: Park the limousine at the side, and don't get a scratch on it. It costs more than what you could ever dream of making.
The valet didn't say a word in fear of losing his job. Insulted of course but wouldn't have the nerve to risk being humiliated in front of the hundreds of wealthy people swarming in to even join the event. The Hispanic model wrapped her arm around his, and he escorted her in the building as a gentlemen. Walking into the entrance, the hall way was very tall, and wide. Red carpet laid out with extra security to prevent any hassles that may arise. Everyone greeted Nathan as he passed by. Raising their glasses of wine or be giving a nod in his direction. The attention was all on him, and he was empowered by it. Hell, he welcomed it. Needed it. Attention was everything to him, and the spotlight was gravitated to him, and him alone. Nathan proceeded walking to the main lounge as security opened the doors showing the crystallized walls, and golden chandelier hanging in the center of the lounge. The stage was set north of the main lounge with the Jazz band playing mellow, and enticing music to accommodate the atmosphere of lust. Others were either conversing or on the dance floor performing.
The first floor was filled with dance, drinks, food, and conversation. The second floor however was the stage for sex, and arousal. It is a building for the richest only, and what would it be without some sexual activity? No, not a brothel. They had rooms prepared if anyone wanted to get it on. Nathaniel decided to walk onto the stage, and the music paused as the host read out the introduction for the honored guest tonight.
Host: Ladies, and gentlemen. I give you the honored guest, and world renowned star, Nathaniel Donald Chambers.
Everyone who attended either clapped with their hands or raised their glasses high. Nathaniel didn't shook the hand of the host but gave him a smile, and nodded. He stood in front of the microphone, and raised his glass high along with everyone else.
Nathan Chambers: Ah yes. What a beautiful night to be here. When I look at you all who have attended, I see nothing but the most privileged, and the most deserving. Some of us worked hard, some of us didn't have to do anything but yet here we are. All around the world only the greatest of the greats have come together in one setting. I've asked this to be a Masquerade Ball because I wanted to make a statement. A statement that it didn't matter where you came from or it didn't matter who you are, as long as the spotlight is on you, that's all you need. The People to see you, and the people to watch your every move but when is it enough? Trick question, it isn't. I wanted to invite someone else tonight but apparently he denied my invitation because we don't see eye, and eye. This man would have been perfect for the theme of the party. Masquerade. He's done Masquerade his entire life, and yet he denied my invitation? His excuse was that the people, and I don't see eye on eye on the same page yet here we are together joining as one. Such a shame when someone has to wear a mask all the time that they forget what the real world looks like.
Crowd Member: And who is this man you invited?
Nathan Chambers: Ahh..he calls himself The People's Champion, and he is. Wrestling Championship Federation's own, People's Champion. Teo Del Sol.
Crowd Member: He's no People's Champion to us.
Nathan Chambers: I didn't mean the people like us. I meant the animals who roam the streets without homes, who can't make a decent living of at least $150,000 dollars. To all the women who become whores, the children who grow up on drugs, the men who rob, rape, and kill. He's THEIR people's champion, and it's because he represents everything that's wrong with the world we live in today. Succumbing to the doubts, the suffering, and offering a beacon of hope for them to choose the easy way out instead of fixing their own problems. The balls of this man has grown too big over the course of years because he's done what no politician could do in the history of our great country. He's finally united the low lives to give him the voice of the voiceless, and every step he'll throw his body weight around to be that of a People's Champion in order for a mass support on keeping his pathetic title. They should change People's Champion to Loser's Champion.
They joined together in unison to laugh at that statement. The Hispanic Model who was waiting beside the stage on the floor was the only one in the room who disagreed with everything Nathan said as she was one of those "animals" who became successful. Her face cringed at their laughter to the poor, and yet she couldn't believe Nathan was the one instigating all this mockery, and hatred to people who never had the chance to be where he's at now. She wanted to leave but it would mean a lot of trouble if she just left a man who had the power to end someone's career in the fast lane.
Nathan Chambers: Tonight I want to make a toast to Teo Del Sol. For he is the reason why the animals who live in sewers, on the streets, and the middle age class are the reason why we continue to supplement our money for the better. The profound hero who spreads the lies about becoming something better than they are, and implanting false hopes, and dreams into their minds. It's funny how the people like us get blamed for tearing people down when in reality, we're doing them a favor. We provide them with electricity, water, and jobs to keep their bills out of the way but Teo Del Sol turns the people against us all because we're better than them. He doesn't understand the reality of the world, in his mind, everything is all ponies, princesses, and rainbows. I will show Teo Del Sol what it means to be the best in the world, and that evolution always wins. Power is power, and power doesn't come from the people. Power comes from those who acquire it, and want more. Money, fame, the possibilities are endless when money is on your side, and the spotlight is on you. So without further ado, a toast.
They raise their glasses high, and Nathan signals to the band to begin playing their music. The host stands in front of the microphone.
Host: And now ladies, and gentlemen. A dance.
Nathan, and the rest of men stand on one side while the women, and his Hispanic model does the same. The famous song begins "I bust the windows out your car", and Nathan leads the men forward with a hand out to the model. She takes his hand gently, and they begin dancing together, the Waltz. His hand on her waist, and her hand on his shoulders. He smiles while the model isn't happy. Noticing this, he begins to question her.
Nathan Chambers: Is there something wrong?
Model: Yes. I didn't appreciate what you said in your speech.
Nathan Chambers: What's not to appreciate? It's only the truth.
Model: The truth? You made fun of the millions of residents in this country who work hard ten times as harder than we all do. Maybe you should be thankful that they're supplying your pockets with money instead of mocking them. You never know what could happen.
Hearing those words pissed him off more than ever. It was bad enough she was actually trying to convince what he said was wrong but standing up for the man he was facing in the opening first round of the WCF Classic Tournament was a stab in the back. He slowly looked into her eyes, and felt bad enough. Dropping his head down, and Nathan whispered into her left ear to assure her he would make an apology for the harsh things that was said earlier. So, he raised his right hand in the air which was the cue to the band to cease playing. Everyone on the dance floor came to a sudden halt, and escorted themselves off the dance floor. Nathan was quickly handed a microphone while the model stood in the center of the dance floor with her arms folded, expecting to hear an apology.
Nathan Chambers: Apologies everyone. I'm sorry for the sudden pause in our delightful activity but I've received a road block that sort of captured my attention which is very rare. You notice a woman standing on the dance floor, this woman right here is Veronica. Better seen on Maxim as the top model for this month in all of California. Yes, applaud her.
Veronica doesn't pay mind to the idiots around her clapping for her but her eyes are latched onto Nathan who is making a big scene than it really is. To be honest, she's getting uncomfortable every second that passes by. Something didn't feel right.
Nathan Chambers: Veronica here believes that the statements I said earlier was disrespectful, and uncalled for. She believes that the people who we look down on, we should be grateful as they are our source of revenue. As a matter of fact, Veronica here is a Teo Del Sol supporter.
Veronica: I never said..
She's quickly silenced by the loud gossip spreading through everyone surrounding her. Veronica is slowly panicking, sweat dripping down the side of her face as multiple slick facial expressions pounds down into her own presence. With a snap of Nathan's fingers, security starts seeping through the cracks of the audience, and exposes their presence into the light. Surrounding her in a circle, lining with the edges of the dance floor. Veronica looks at Nathan for mercy but he doesn't budge at all.
Nathan Chambers: Now Veronica. You must understand why everything I said about Teo was true? You remind me of him actually. The way you stood up against me was quite courageous but I don't appreciate an imperfect abomination not understanding her place. I didn't ask you out because I cared, I asked you out because you needed relevancy more than I did. Everything I did here was for my pleasure but now you've had your fifteen minutes of fame especially after you opened your mouth.
Veronica: Nathan...please...don't do this.
Nathan Chambers: No, no, no. Don't speak. Teo Del Sol spreads hope through a mask because his face is exactly the people who he tries to empower. I can see through a man who uses a mask to hide who he truly is. He's not a superhero or a leading role model. A liar that spreads false hopes, and dreams. When people look at what he does, they believe in themselves to do the same but what happens when they try, and try only to fail over, and over? Would they put that much trust in the same man again? Sure. He defeated Torture, Kyle Kemp, Andre Holmes, and much more people under his list. Hell, his biggest win was Dune but they don't understand him like I do. Just like him, I have a devoted number of people who would die at my feet all because I tell the truth of how great they have become in establishing their power over society. So why should we let an abomination such as yourself try to ruin all that we have worked for so hard over the years? Just because a homeless man managed to use your guilt to buy more cigarettes, and alcohol? No, Veronica. Just like Teo, I will strip you of your clothing, and expose the real women inside. Security.
Veronica: NO! PLEASE! DO--
The paid off security quickly rips her dress, and lingerie apart exposing her body. She drops to her knees trying to cover herself up but they each take an arm, and pull her stand up exposing her bare naked parts for everyone to watch. The crowd of vicious, and vile wealthy men, and women take turns in yelling out their insults, and laughing. Hell, some even record the humiliation on their phones. Veronica is tearing, and looking into the eyes of Nathan Chambers who holds the mask over her face.
Nathan Chambers: Oh yes. Behind this mask is a human being whose vulnerable. Behind this mask is a human being with flesh, and skin just like the rest of us. Emotions, and intelligence. Teo Del Sol. I know you'll be watching this, and then you'll make a post on Twitter demanding my apology for embarrassing one of your beloved people but this is actually a wake up call for you. I know you're a great wrestler, a competitor but the mindset you lack to face the world with your real face shall be your downfall. There's two types of people in this world Teo. People who grab the brass ring, and shine the reflection in your own face or the people that hide behind their own cowardice, and let others do their dirty work. We're the same people. We both grab the brass ring, and we both have our people behind us but power comes from what you can do to make others fear you, not by spreading false hope. Have you ever asked your own people how they really feel of you when they see your face?!
He rips the black mask off her face, and her make up is dripping from crying so hard. The rest of the audience members are laughing, reveling in her embarrassment. She can barely do anything but hang her head in shame. Nathan nods to the security to drop her onto her knees, and she continues to cover herself as up as much she can. Descending down to her level, he pulls her chin up.
Nathan Chambers: Teo. You will listen to me very carefully. The WCF Classic Tounament is where I will make my mark. I will show the world that only Perfection is the way to live, and the way to breathe. The People will not save you from the beating I will give you. Look at Veronica. Look how easily I've broken her when I removed that mask from her face. Her shield, and armor already taken away with a flick of the wrist, and I exposed the vulnerable flesh, and blood that will succumb to nothing but pain, and torture. You know why I invited you actually Veronica? I knew you were like Teo. I knew by pretending to love you, I could get inside you, and use you as I see fit. You're nothing but just flesh for the taking, and now I'm giving the scraps away. Teo. The WCF Classic Tournament is not yours to take or to win. It's mine. The moment I even mentioned my name on Twitter in WCF, the idiots known as Dag Riddik, Lillith, and The Game have already spread my name across the world all because I speak the truth. Veronica? Anything you have to say?
Veronica: ...I hate you...
Nathan Chambers: Remove her, and throw her outside.
Security does as they are told, and just pick up the crying Veronica. Dragging her by the arms with her feet sliding against the floor. Nathan rubs his hair back, and then stands center stage signalling the spotlight to be on him as the rest of the room falls in darkness.
Nathan Chambers: And now ladies, and gentlemen. We end the night here in the Chamber of Secrets. I have enjoyed the activities, and small events you have hosted in my own name but I can't say the same for Teo this week on Slam. Tonight we dine in Heaven but this Sunday, we feast in Hell. Teo Del Sol, The People's Champion. It's time for the world to watch their savior, their beacon of light slowly slip into madness as a man who has done the same as him proved him wrong. We have two sides of the People, the rich, and the poor but the rich always wins. I have power, you give hope. An indulgence that leads NOWHERE. I will make the people scream my name, and then I will rip your mask away for the world to see another lifeless poor soul stuck in a vulnerable body.
Nathan Chambers: Park the limousine at the side, and don't get a scratch on it. It costs more than what you could ever dream of making.
