So i got to thinking today that i really only roleplayed for an extended period in one single fed. Then i got to wondering how many people i roleplayed with sporadically through the years were in feds the same time i was and didnt realize it because they were using different names or something. So i thought it would be neat to post the feds you used to be in and see if anyone happened to be in the same ones at the same time.
For me the majority of my time was spent in the World Wrestling Alliance (WWA) run by a guy named Matt Chamois. Thats where i developed Max Whitman. Max is still to this deal the only character i have used and really developed. I was there between like 2004-2006 if i remember correctly. Maybe even earlier.
After that i spent a few months with what i Believe was called GCW maybe? It was run by a guy named Jesse baker who i had met in WWA. I would consider him one of the only real friends i made through Efedding. Shame we lost contact.
Then i spent about one month about a year or two ago in a small fed called MCW but honestly only did about 3 or 4 shows before i realized i jsut didnt have the time.
So whats your road map? Where have you been? Who did you meet along the way?

My first efed was DOWF way back in the early 90's, I think it was 1992. I debuted with my longest running character, "The Crow" Eric Draven, who is my current character's uncle. I then moved on to IWFL where I actually ended up being a staff member. I think VP or Commissioner, something like that. Moved around to a lot of efeds. Created the character of Andre Uriel Bates, my current character's father. Also started the Dark Riders Gang around that time, but we called ourselves a few other names before settling on DRG.
I eventually found my way to EFW and WIP, both of which I ran. We lasted a good year or so before shutting down, which back then was longer than most efeds could run. We got hacked, and the hacker actually personally hacked me and destroyed my computer. I took a break after that. If memory serves, it was around 2005 or something. I didn't return to efeds until last year and right here in the WCF.

WCF is actually my first ever efed. Joined in early 2013 if I remember correctly! So I havent been doing this very long compared to the rest of you lol back in the good old AOL days I was in a bizarre "efed" in which you pretended to be real life wrestlers and it was basically like what the twitter board is where you just constantly respond to people lol that was fun... but it was nothing like this! I've been in a fair few efeds since then, but this has always been my home

Started out with OWA back in 2002, also a fed called VCW and the two merged eventually was with those feds for 4 years. Wound up joining a few other feds after that until winding up in TCW in 2008, which had a sister fed RAGE that I did stuff in from time to time was with those feds for about 3 years. A few other feds in between while testing the waters and here I am at WCF, joined in 2012. Last stop for me.

Started in '99 in a place called GWA. Was a great place, but it closed because it was college kids running it and they graduated and went on to doing way more interesting things than this hobby, I assume.
Was in BWA until I graduated high school and joined the Navy in 2001. Was in WGWF and CWA around 05-06, but both were pretty horrible.
Was in WCWF/PWE from 07-09, and sometimes we do reunion shows here and there. Was in NEW from 2010-2012, until the fed head passed away. Place turned into a troll zone. Was also the only place that never really saw much of Gonzo. Tried steering away from him in 2010 because I wanted him to retire loyal to WCWF/PWE, but that obviously isn't going to ever get up and stay off the ground.
Came here in 2013 and have primarily been here the whole time since.

Just happen to be a fan of roleplaying and wrestling, so I went in search of something that had both, and this is the first decent result I got. Don't remember the other ones lol.

Did they host a giant tournament of champions that might d of collaborated with a whole bunch of other feds?

My first fed was NCW which I copied in a lot of ways when I created WCF!, so although I didn't really accomplish much there as a roleplayer it's really the most noteworthy fed I've been a part of. They did use a concept that I've never seen anywhere else which was... you couldn't see anyone's roleplays until they got posted on the show, and even those you'd only see SOME of them, the ones that were good enough to be included on the show. That probably sounds insane today, but it was a fed where people weren't writing giant roleplays, they were short and sweet and were meant to be written as something that might air on television. I haven't thought about it in a while but this is something I'd like to bring back in some capacity, either as a special match or a special belt one day.
Also, this was the year 2000 so "might air on a television wrestling show" was very different than right now too, hah.
My first real success as a roleplayer was in a fed called PCW. It was a fed that used poser back in the days when not everyone did, so it was really special. It was from here I stole the concept of live results, like we do for War chat; they did it for every other PPV. It was some of the most fun I've ever had, those chats were great and it was a great community. In my first roleplay I accidentally promo'd against the wrong person... I felt like an idiot but pretended I did it on purpose and that my character was a moron. I became World Champion there based on that persona so that was fun.
A few years ago I was in Dean's IWF with Corey and had more fun there than I thought I'd ever have roleplaying again. Cool people there and some great writers too, and I enjoyed working with Corey. My run there was over a year which was way more than I'd expected.
It's worth noting that I lost there WAY more than I won, I think I had one of the worst win/loss records in the fed. So when people complain to me about losing too much, I'm not just lying when I say I know how they feel, haha. I deserved each and every loss, never had a complaint about Dean's judging!, but I do understand that losing stings even if you realize it was the right decision. But being in a fed again after such a long hiatus gave me that perspective back again.

Oh wow, love the idea of not seeing promos but I'm a fan of three page roleplays as opposed to the monstrous 15 thousand word essays people post. I just am never interested enough in your character to read them all the way haha
