I'm home now- and sick. Fuck that place.

But seriously, I've been on this trip four times now and I had a good time this year. I don't hate the people that work there or the camp's principles but some of the things the counsellors say are cringeworthy.

I brought my guitar and played for the kids around the fire. I got to ride on a zip line, climb a wall, and hike. My wife was on the trip and we were together most of the time. Even the alchemist was a good guy, even if he reminded me of the smug people from that one South Park episode where they smell their farts.

I didn't add this when I wrote the quote above, but the guy considered himself the Avatar, which is why he thought of himself as an "alchemist of earth, wind, fire, and water." I would have ragged on him for thinking he was an anime character, but then I remembered what I do here in the WCF.

So...to each their own.
