My girlfriend is a big Say Anything fan and we're going to see them tomorrow. Thanks to her I've listened to a lot of random stuff, I was really into ...Is a Real Boy but that's the only full album of theirs I've listened to, really. Haven't seen any concerts for a while so I'm excited regardless.
Any fans? From what I understand their recent releases are somewhat divisive and their front man is a wacko.

To be honest, I don't listen to much modern music. It's not that there's not some good ones out there, I'm sure there are, it's that most of the ones on the radio suck more than a two dollar hooker in Montgomery.

The only conclusion that I've come up with music wise is that Canada has been crapping on us with shitty musicians for quite some time.
Rush was excellent, but since then, its been downhill...
Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne, Nickelback, and now that Bieber kid... Is this a conspiracy for them to dump their non-talented refuse into our country?
Just a thought. I thought you were maybe referencing that John Cusack movie. Don't know anything about the band...

But mostly because the ladies like him, and some of his songs are actually worthwhile. "Summer of '69" is definitely on that list. I sometimes karaoke the hell out of that song for the benefit of the ladies... |
