Logan, Oblivion, and 3 more like this

Mexico City was definitely a town full of enriched cultures that our ancestors has passed down to the new generations. Crystal Knight was one of the few rookies who made a big impact on social media, and not to mention in the ring, especially being trained by Corey Black. She was fairly new to the business but gaining some credible friendships on the way. Here in Mexico City, this was no Alaska. The sun was blazing hot to the point where the Human Torch had to retire from Fantastic Four. However, the group decided to rendezvous to a very famous restaurant in the city. Crystal was the first one to arrive in this locally wooden based restaurant which had more of a sea food design interior with the bar section at the east, the servers dressed as pirates, and even the tables wooden just like the barrels.
She sat down inside a booth, and crossed her right leg over the other looking at the menu for the least calorie section. Crystal was very strict on her diet, maybe due to her excitement in being in the WCF ring. The challenge before her this Sunday on Slam was very extreme. Not only was she facing Freezer Burn but a returning Night Rider, and also a former World Champion, Oblivion. However, luck was on her side. She had the only female World Champion, Sarah Twilight, and the current WCF Tag, and Hardcore Champion, Andre Holmes to back her up in the corner. Crystal felt secured but worried. She’s been known for presenting herself as a peace maker, ironic that’s the way she’s chosen with all the chaotic, and unpredictable behaviors in WCF.
Getting a glass of water, she took a few sips while moving strands of her blonde-blue highlighted hair from over her right eye behind her her. Her blue bright eyes locked on the screen of her iPhone 6, and she was moving her thumbs upwards to view some footage of her fans cosplaying as her on Instagram. When she looked up, she smiled as Andre stood above her at her side dressed in a black buttoned shirt with blue jeans, and white kicks on. Not to mention, shades on his head. He leaned over, and hugged her with his right arm around her back, and her left arm over his back with her chin on his right shoulder. There was a lot of questions she wanted to ask mostly about the morale going into the match but the doubts of future especially experiencing the worst case scenario with Bonnie Blue was gaining more pressure on her relationship with him.
As he sat down before her, he smiled, and felt comfortable. Sure, the restaurant was on a busy schedule but the natural environment of a family-friendly business always sets the tone for people to dine, and unwind.
Andre Holmes: Hey, how are you?
Crystal Knight: Hi Andre, I’m doing good thanks. Had one, ermmm, interesting flight over here though.
Crystal paused trying not to think about the nightmare she had had midflight.
Crystal Knight: Listen, before we go any further I want to apologise to you. I know I was a bit annoying on twitter the other day, I just don’t want to see you… go down a dark path, and the way you handled that stuff with Oblivion, it was kinda worrying. I know you aren’t really a bad guy though, Sarah on the other hand… well, let’s just say, I’ll try and keep my opinions to myself during our matches.
Andre Holmes: Look, I don’t trust Sarah Twilight either. If it was up to me, I’d rather face her in a match, and beat her myself. The same sentiment would come from her too. The fact is that she’s one of the best competitors in WCF, and that’s the only reason I need. I just need you, and her to work together on a competitive level, and I’m good.
The waitress came to ask if Andre wanted anything to drink, and just like Crystal, water.
Andre Holmes: And, I accept your apology but why the hell are you like giving me a lecture of a dark path? At first, you were cool on the decisions I made, and now you’re just acting as if I’m going to become the next World Oppressor or something.
What Andre had just said sent a freezing cold shiver down Crystals spine, she felt herself go a bit white in fright but she tried her absolute hardest not to show her concerns here. After all, how could you tell someone that you witnessed what the alternate them did in a different time period? Andre of now may not have been the same as the Andre of then, but the fact that he could become like that terrified her beyond belief. Crystal tried to take her attention off of him as she flicked through her phone, not exactly doing much at all.
Crystal Knight: Ummmmm, well… it’s nothing, Andre, really. I just didn’t like certain things you were saying that's all. Maybe I was just raised in a different way to you that’s all. It’s not your fault.
Crystal continued to flick through her phone knowing that Andre was practically staring at her for behaving so oddly. She tried her absolute hardest to change the subject putting her phone down and glancing over the menu.
Crystal Knight: So what food do you recommend from this place? You know, I’ve never actually been to a Mexican restaurant before. They aren’t exactly all over the place in Alaska, you know, haha.
Crystal knew that she had just let out a nervous laugh, she hoped Andre hadn’t noticed. Andre was just watching her body obviously tell him that something was on her mind. It’s pretty obvious how women can show the most emotion, and think they could get away with it. Unfortunately for Crystal, after being married for ten years, you pick up on these things really fast.
Andre Holmes: What’s wrong?
He asked with a firm tone, and his hazel eyes narrowed. Andre enjoyed being in a fun environment but when something is wrong, he addressed it right at the point. Crystal just glanced up at the Hardcore Champion, nervously trying to dig herself out of the hole she had found herself in.
Crystal Knight: What’s wrong? Nothing… I’m just trying to figure out what I want to eat that's all. I mean it’s hard enough picking the healthiest thing on the menu in America, here… I’m just confused. I wonder if they have a Walmart in Mexico? I could probably cook myself up some chicken breasts…
Andre Holmes: I doubt that. Well, I wouldn’t really know. So how do you feel about our match? You sure you’re gonna hold up your own?
The way he stared at her was pretty intimidating but that’s just how he is. When it came down to business, Andre was a very serious person. Crystal placed the menu down on the table and looked across at Andre, this was perhaps the first time she had never looked at him in such a way. Gone had that childish innocence she so boldly held onto.
Crystal Knight: Yeah I know, I get it. You and Sarah both have your reservations about me. Why? Because I’m a young newbie? Andre, I may be new to the business but if you think that makes me any less capable in the ring, well then I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to put your mind at ease come this Sunday. Sarah thinks that I’m a, what did she call me? A pussy? Just because I don’t act like her. I don’t want to go out of my way to destroy my opponents like she does. Seriously, what is wrong with good old fashioned competition and sportsmanship? Sarah is so full of unnecessary hatred it's ridiculous.
Andre leaned back against the cushioning, and nodded his head. Hell, she knew exactly what she was talking about. Sarah Twilight has committed horrendous acts in WCF like electrocution, lighting people on fire, attempted manslaughter but the reason why he was lenient with Sarah than Crystal, he’d some of the things Sarah’s done too. Some even worse but it was to protect the people he loved, for Sarah, it was just because she had nothing better to do. He folded his arms, and looked back at her.
Andre Holmes: I agree. She’s a bitch, a flat out evil infested bitch. Yeah, would I want to actually hang out with her? No. I don’t trust her as a person, and I damn sure don’t want to ever even talk with her. However, I give her credit where credit is due, and I respect everything she’s done in her accomplishments. Crystal, I trust your skills. I said it before, I was impressed with what you could do in the ring but the one thing I’m concerned about is your mentality.
He took a sip from the half-empty glass of water before explaining.
Andre Holmes: There are some situations where you have to make a choice that goes against your values, your morals. We’re gonna be facing a psychotic monster, a well returning WCF asshole, and Freezer Burn who may use his shot at MY Hardcore Title. I’m going to be blunt. Sarah, and I can pull the trigger even if it means doing something dirty. I need to know that we can rely on you to be as brutal, and can pull the trigger at ANY time. Can you do that? And I want you to make sure you understand. Can...you...pull...the...trigger?
Crystal shook her head at Andre and rolled her eyes slightly as she continued to look across the table at Andre, who despite his efforts was nothing hyping her up at all and was in fact doing quite the opposite.
Crystal Knight: Andre, if you’re asking me if I will brutally attack someone to the extent where they’re hospitalized, or worse, just because they “deserve it”, the answer is no. No I will not. You know why? Because every life is precious, Andre. Yours, mine, your daughters, Oblivions… even Katherine’s was before she was killed.
Mentioning her name and the way she had died sent shivers down her spine. She wasn’t going to lie, she had read the TMZ articles and knew full well that she could be sitting across from a murderer right now. Were the police really on the look out for him? He had said many times that he was capable of doing such a thing…
Crystal Knight: I, errrrrr… listen, tell me the truth. You didn’t really have anything to do with that, right?
Andre Holmes: What?
Crystal Knight: Katherines death. Andre, I read the TMZ reports. The police, there’s really a warrant out for you?
Andre Holmes: You really believe TMZ?
Crystal gulped hard and tried her hardest to distract herself again by taking a mouthful of her drink. She placed the glass back down with a shaky hand.
Crystal Knight: Errrrr, I don’t know, Andre. I know they aren’t exactly the most reliable source in the world, but even with that said… what you said to her before she had died, it was chilling, Andre. What on earth were you thinking? Listen, as I was saying… EVERY life is precious, Andre. Was Katherine a nightmare to you? Yes. I mean, she even did and said some horrible things to me before Sarah… did what she did. But does that give us, as wrestlers, the right to do and act in that way? No, Andre, it does not. I’m sorry, but this is just one thing I will never agree with you on. And if this makes me less effective as a tag partner, well then to be honest, I’m glad. I don’t mean to sound unreliable or inefficient, but if you and Sarah really expect me to become like THAT, then I’m telling you right now, I won’t, Andre. I never will. Not ever.
He didn’t even listen to her as she went on about her lecture of life. Katherine Phoenix made Andre’s life a living hell, and he damn sure was set on murdering her. What pissed him off was basically how she didn’t really know the extent of how much she caused him. It was just insulting for her to lecture him on something she will never understand. So he leaned back, and sighed.
Andre Holmes: Fine. I understand that you won’t go the excessive mile to make sure they never get back up. I can respect that but don’t ever lecture me on Katherine Phoenix because you don’t what the fuck you’re talking about.
Crystal practically fell into her chair with her mouth open in shock as she heard him swear at her like he just had. She couldn’t believe he’d actually talk to her like that.
Crystal Knight: Andre, I...
He cut her off right there.
Andre Holmes: No. Lecture me on how I should have dealt with a woman who ruined my relationship. Lecture me on a woman who gave me a pay cut because she didn’t like my face.
Lecture me on a woman who tried to force a marriage I never wanted. Lecture me on a woman who attacked an innocent fan, and put her in a hospital. Lecture me on a woman who almost killed my sorority sister, and damn sure lecture on how I should have dealt with a psychotic woman who not only threatened to kidnap my daughters but also kill them….lecture me...please.
Crystal knew she had annoyed him here and it put her in a very very difficult position. She of course believed that murder and actions as violent as that were completely unacceptable and unnecessary no matter what, but saying so just made Andre furious.
Crystal Knight: Listen, I know what she did to you, to your family, I witnessed some of it and have been told the rest… but Andre, death… killing… is not the answer. It never should have even been an option or a thought. We’re wrestlers, not executioners. You said yourself she was unwell, as well we all knew, even me, a rookie in this business. Why did no one try to help her? Talent relations should have done something…
Andre Holmes: Whatever help she could have get wasn’t my problem. I wanted her out of my life, and now she’s gone for good. Look, let’s just move off this topic, and I’ll order some steak. I haven’t had a good one in a while. Another question. Has anyone been bothering you in WCF? I know you had a run in with Dag making fun of the Paralympic event you went too. You want me to take him out for you?
He said it so casually because he knew he could do it. Crystal’s face was the entirely opposite. She gave him the stank eye, and shook her head. It was obvious that in his years of Professional Wrestling, these ‘violent acts’ was so normal to him.
Andre Holmes: Okay fine. Jesus, I won’t. So…...how is your dog?
Crystal sat back in her chair, images of the future she had witnessed flashed through her mind. Bonnie had told her multiple times that that future she had witnessed was from an alternate timeline with a different Andre, but the way THIS Andre was talking right now, she knew that it wouldn’t take much for him to be pushed to that and it worried her a lot. After a moments silence Crystal sat up and folded her arms on the table, looking at Andre straight faced.
Crystal Knight: Kovu is fine, Andre, thanks.
She cleared her throat, looking suspiciously at the wrestler.
Crystal Knight: Look, I know Oblivion did and said some horrible, unnecessary things to you too lately and now we’re going to be facing him this Sunday. Can I really trust YOU to perform well in this match? Or are you just going to go in there and go completely over the top because of his actions?
Andre Holmes: Oblivion. Our time will come soon but you can trust me to make sure our team wins. I’m just gonna send him a message. That’s all.
Crystal Knight: Our team winning isn't what concerns me, Andre. How we win is what concerns me. And quite frankly, if you’re just going to turn this into a bloodbath, I’d rather not be a part of it. I got into this business because I loved what it stood for. I loved entertaining the fans, sending them home happy is what I live for. If I wanted to be a part of this horrific unnecessary lifestyle you and Sarah seem to thrive in, I’d have become a crime scene investigator or something, you know? Can you PLEASE just put your differences aside and wrestle the way I, or Bonnie Blue would? Please? That is all I ask…
Andre Holmes: I’m not YOU or BONNIE BLUE. So Crystal. Let me say this. Stop telling, asking, requesting or demanding me to be something that I’m NOT. When I give you my word that I am going to make sure we win, you can trust me. I get it. You’re an entertainer, you live for the fans. Maybe you should join Teo Del Sol for that, I come in here to wrestle, and the fans respect me for my competitiveness, and what I stand for, and I love the fans because I view myself as one of them too. So I’m going to be honest, Please don’t tell me to do something that isn’t myself.
He leaned back, and thought about what she said.
Andre Holmes: Why are you comparing me to you or Bonnie Blue? As a matter of fact, what the hell is going on? You’ve been trying to lecture me, and now you’re asking me to just change who I am? Really Crystal? Are you really asking me to change who I am? You better tell me what is your problem or else this little hang out is over.
Crystal sighed as she placed her head into her hands.
Crystal Knight: I just don’t want to see you go down a dark path, Andre. I don’t want to see you go in there and try and permanently harm Oblivion just because you can. You’re better than that. I know you are, Bonnie knows you are, and your daughters know you are. You’re a great wrestler, Andre. One of the best the WCF has ever seen in fact. You know when I said I grew up watching you fight and that you were an inspiration to me? I wasn’t lying. But this, what you’re saying, how you’re behaving, your views on life, LIFE, Andre… it is all wrong.
Before Andre could interrupt her she placed her hand up in the air in front of his lips.
Crystal Knight: You need to be the bigger man, Andre. Imagine if you will that, and I’m not saying this would happen, but imagine if one of your daughters was bullying a girl at school. I know, or at least I hope that she wouldn’t, but imagine if she did. Now, if the girl who was being bullied brought a knife to school one day and stabbed and killed your daughter, just because she could, would you say that THAT was the right thing for her to do? I get that you love your kids, Andre, and you’d do anything for them… but there are limits, okay? You can’t always take the law into your own hands. There is ALWAYS an option B, Andre, going down this route which you are is NOT the answer. It’s not. You can call me a pussy or a girl scout or anything like that, but I know, or at least I hope, that deep inside there is some part of you which understands where I am coming from.
Andre Holmes: Look Crystal.
He took her hands into his, and leaned forward on the table.
Andre Holmes: Believe me, I understand everything you’re saying, and I really appreciate you taking your time for the day to at least give me some good advice, and I apologize if I’m being very blunt, and disrespectful. All I ask for you is to trust me. Okay? That’s all I ask. I know my ways might seem harsh, cruel but I am NOT that evil person you think I am. I am giving you my word that everything I do is not for the sake of being a bad guy, and I don’t take certain ways just because I choose too. So, please. Just trust me. Okay?
As the two speak, the door to the establishment is pushed open. It’s somewhat rusted hinges providing a very noticeable squeak to the door. Sarah Twilight steps into the restaurant. She lifts her shades from her eyes and places them atop her gorgeous red hair, glancing around with a sneer. The hardened redhead turns her nose up at the decor and overall atmosphere of this out of the way hole in the wall. Several guests look in her direction as she swaggers arrogantly passed the hostess and toward the table where Crystal and Andre were seated. With each stare that was given to her by a guest, she returned with a nasty glare of her own which caused each of them to look away, not wanting to make eye contact with the very domineering woman. Sarah was dressed casually with a v-cut, black adidas top, a pair of navy blue denim jeans and a white pair of adidas sneakers with black trim and logo. As always, her sterling silver pentacle hung from her neck. Upon reaching the table where her two Trios partners were stationed, she reluctantly pulled back the wooden barrel that would serve as a seat.
Sarah: What a shithole. You two actually plan to EAT something from here?
Andre immediately released his hands from tangling with Crystal’s. Of course, Sarah made her grand entrance. In his mind, he wondered if she would actually be happy if God came down from the Heavens to roll out the red carpet, and Jesus put a crown on her head. He leaned back against the cushioning of the booth, and fixed his seat on the wooden barrel in substitution of a chair. Fixing the shades on his head, he nodded at Sarah.
Andre Holmes: Well, I’m glad you made it. Looks like we’re all here.
Sarah shakes her head slightly with a smirk. She continues to glance around the place, looking rather unimpressed. One of the waiters notices that the table of two had now become a table of three and he approaches Sarah with a menu to look over. She dismissively waves her hand at the offering and turns to him very directly.
Sarah Twilight : Just a water … BOTTLED water. I am not drinking any fucking tap water from this dump.
Hearing that, the waiter had no choice but to accept, and deliver on her demands. It’s a restaurant. The customer wants, the customer gets even if it meant a silver sharped tongue being lodged up their soul’s ass. Andre rubbed his forehead with his index, and middle finger. Embarrassed to be seated beside someone who could be so brash, and repulsive. Needless to say, she was worth the patience just because Sarah is a former World Champion. Crystal on the other hand, she’s not buying it into. Her hands are placed under the table, and balled up into a fist ready to unleash a double Hadouken for disrespecting an innocent hardworking employee.
Andre Holmes: So, I take it you didn’t have a good trip right?
Sarah turns her attention to Andre, completely ignoring whether the waiter was even still there or not after placing her blunt, rude order. She chuckles lightly.
Sarah Twilight: Trip was fine … I took care of a few things. I just don’t have time to waste dealing with shitty service in a shitty restaurant. Weren’t we here for business anyhow?
Finally Crystal could take no more of Sarah’s poor behavior as she perhaps foolishly lets her frustrations out in the former World Champion’s direction.
Crystal Knight: Sarah, you’ve barely been here two seconds and you’ve already been unnecessarily rude to the waiter and even gone so far as to insult this place. Can you PLEASE try and be nice… if not for just a moment?
Andre whispered under his breath, mumbling to himself.
Andre Holmes: Here comes it now.
Sarah turns to GLARE at Crystal. It was about as obvious as ever that she was NOT going to be as understanding or as tolerant of Crystal’s opinions as Andre was.
Sarah Twilight: I don’t give a shit what you think in regards to my level of “kindness.” Either we’re here to discuss business, or we aren’t. If we aren’t, then I have much better things to do. I am NOT going to listen to any of this bullshit.
Crystal sighs hard as she begins to play with her hair a bit desperately trying to distract herself.
Crystal Knight: Yes we’re here to talk about our upcoming match, but is this attitude of yours really necessary? Sarah, come on.
Sarah Twilight: My attitude is none of your concern. The only thing you need to concern yourself with is that come Sunday, we’re sending two fucks back to the old folk’s home and another to early retirement.
Once again Crystal sighed as she listened to what Sarah was saying.
Crystal Knight: Sarah, first of all your attitude is of my concern when I am tagging with you. You think I’m a liability because I’m new and whatever other reasons you may have, well how do I know you aren’t going to be a liability acting like this? And secondly, we will not be doing that with those guys, or at least I won’t be anyway. Is it really that hard to just put on a good match for the sole purpose of entertaining the fans? Why does there always have to be an unlying reason to wrestle with you?
Andre did enjoy hearing Sarah’s plan. A little smirk was born on his face until he saw Crystal reacting negatively to her trash talk. When they both were done going for each’s jugular, Andre butted in.
Andre Holmes: Okay enough! Damn. You two argue more than my own daughters do! We have three people ready to beat the crap out of us on Slam, and remember that we have a chance to become not only Trios Champion but also World, and Tag too. The reality is, you two don’t like each other, and I don’t trust you Sarah as a person nor do I trust Crystal as a competitor. There I said it but if we really want to win this match, we NEED each other. Can we at least agree to work with each other for the remaining Trios matches, and that’s it?!
Sarah heard Andre trying to quell the situation, but one thing was going to be made perfectly clear. Sarah laid the cards on the table as bluntly, and as seriously as possible.
Sarah Twilight: I’ve had enough of this.
Sarah turns and looks directly at Crystal.
Sarah Twilight: I don’t know why the fuck you decided to join this team, and quite frankly, I don’t care. But one thing is going to be abundantly clear to you … I do things MY way, and if you think that your rookie ass is going to waltz in here and think you’ll be dictating how I handle business, you’d better get your ass back to boot camp with Corey Black because you’re not ready for this. There is ONE … count em, ONE former World Champion here on this team. Newsflash, it ain’t you. So if ANYONE is going to be dictating to ANYONE how we’re going to do shit, it’s going to be me. So you have two choices, shut your mouth with this girl scout bullshit, or Andre can see how well he fairs with only Brownie Troop leader on his side. So either we’re going to talk BUSINESS, or I’ll leave you two to your food poisoning. Choice is yours.
Crystal once again rolled her eyes in Sarah's direction, but Andre put up his hand to tell her to keep her opinions to herself. Despite how much she may disagree with what Sarah was saying, she knew that they had to stick together as a team here, and so she tried her hardest to forget every negative point Sarah had just brought to the table.
Crystal Knight: Okay fine. What do you have in mind for our match, Sarah? And just so you know, if you expect me to go out there and attack those guys so much that they’re “put into retirement”, it’s not going to happen. I will wrestle them, like I was trained to do, but I’m not going to harm them more than what is necessary to get the win here.
Sarah straight up laughs in Crystal’s face. There was some progress in the fact that she’d mostly shut up about the merit badge bullshit. At this point, Crystal’s response simply amused Sarah.
Sarah Twilight: What kind of drugs are you on? Do you REALLY believe that hugs and handshakes are going to win matches? Maybe running a few laps around the arena with the Special Olympics? Yeah … that might do it. Perhaps taking some photo ops, right? You need to put a mother fucker DOWN for the count. You need to beat them badly enough that they CANNOT get their shoulder off the mat for three seconds. OR you have to put that person in so much PAIN that they have to GIVE UP! This is a FIGHT, a COMPETITION. Spare me your sportsman bullshit or just don’t bother showing up Sunday and I’ll handle this myself.
Once again Crystal glared at Sarah.
Crystal Knight: Did I say I was going to hug our opponents? No. I said I was going to wrestle them, like I was trained to do, Sarah. Just because I don’t intend on going out there and KILLING them all, like you most likely do, doesn’t mean that I am any less effective in the ring. Like I told Andre before you go here, Sarah, we’re wrestlers NOT killers. I was trained to be a wrestler, that is what I am… and on Sunday I will WRESTLE these guys and out perform them to get the win for our team. What part of that do you have an issue with? Seriously?
And it’s ironic because Andre had the same conversation with Crystal earlier, just not as graphic as with Sarah right now.
Andre Holmes: I’m going to pray to Jesus, and ask him to help me through this crisis. Okay, business. We all came together, and when I mean we, I mean mostly myself trying to get you two together. Look, we have Oblivion, Night Rider, and Freezer Burn facing against a former a World Champion, a current Dual Champion, and a potential top prospect. I believe the three of us can just work together to win the match, and continue. In order for that to work, we need to be a well oiled machine. Now, we need to know each other’s strengths, and weaknesses. Anyone want to share what they can do in the ring? Anything they got in mind?
Sarah sighs as she shakes her head. She knew Crystal was a rookie, and this inexperience gave her this “sunshine and rainbows” outlook. But fact was, Crystal was going to have to toughen up, and harden up to reality and FAST. Sarah intended to make sure that happened sooner than later. After all, the Trios was a MAJOR opportunity for all of them. Sarah reaches a hand out and pats Crystal on the shoulder, still shaking her head.
Sarah Twilight: Kid, after we make it through this first round … you’ll have some battle scars under your belt. We’ll see how long you keep up with this facade after that.
Andre Holmes: ...Anything you guys can sure would be nice. Strengths, weaknesses. Strategy, combining our moves? When to tag in, tag out? Something would be nice for business!
Sarah nods her head at Andre and abandons trying to get some fucking sense into Crystal for the time being.
Sarah Twilight: Look, we have Oblivion … who’s been here so long he’s actually forgotten that everyone’s forgotten him about five years ago. Monster? Shit I’m more scared of what the energy drink can do to my body than I am of that pathetic has been. He runs his mouth about hell and demons and shit like he’s been there … well, I suppose he actually HAS been to hell. That would be also known as the five thousand times I have already kicked his ass and made him look like a puppy compared to me. Night Rider? That guy has tried to cling his ass to more people than what comes and goes through the doors of WCF on a yearly basis. The only success Night Rider has ever had, was when he had Denise D’evil carrying his ass. Oh yeah. Welcome back Denise … too bad she can’t help Night Rider out when we get in that ring, I’d love an excuse to kick her teeth in just the same. And Freezer Burn? What is this? Polar Phantasm Light? I just got done beating the shit out of the north pole, guess I have to do it again.
Crystal Knight: Well, actually, I think Oblivion has kind of turned over a new page so to speak lately. I don’t think he’s doing the whole monster thing anymore, he’s more in touch with his humanity. I mean, sure attacking Andre the way he did the other day was wrong, no doubt about that, but I can kind of see where he was coming from when he did that. He was upset because his friend had died and was trying to avenge her in an odd way.
….Sarah, and Andre had their eyes just locked on Crystal with the most blank facial expression over. Ten seconds of silence was spawned on the table, and even the two had to look at each other then back to Crystal. Andre tried to speak but just shut up, Sarah went to speak but really tried to hold back the fire breathing rampage of words gushing from her throat.
Andre Holmes: ...I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that.
Crystal Knight: Andre, I didn't say that you were to blame and when I said he went about it in the wrong way, that is one of the main things I was referring to. But you can’t deny the fact that if something happened to someone you cared about, you’d have done the exact same thing. Probably even taken it a step or two further
Sarah has heard enough. She stands up at the table and everyone in the entire room had their attention on Sarah as she SLAMS her fists down upon the table.
Sarah Twilight: ENOUGH! I don’t give a single FUCK what you think about why this asshole did this, or why that asshole did that. You wanna be Dear Abbey or Doctor Phil get a NEW fucking job and STOP wasting our time! We’re not here to be fucking counselors, we’re here to kick those fuckers asses! Oblivion, Night Rider, Freezer Burn … they WANT to WIN Trios, they will slit your fucking throat to do it because THAT is what it means to WIN!
Crystal Knight: Well, actually, Oblivion and Night Rider have been nothing but pleasant to me when I briefly spoke to them on twitter. I just don’t get why you’re under the impression that if I don’t get as angry and hate filled as you, Sarah, that it somehow makes me less able to perform in the ring and put on a good match?
Sarah wasn’t paying any attention to what Crystal had just said and continued to angrily rant at the young wrestler, who just sat there looking rather disgruntled.
Sarah Twilight: ...That is what you DO when you have opportunity! Now if you want to sing Kum-ba-fucking-ya with people … QUIT … go do something else. If you cannot be RUTHLESS and you cannot be as FOCUSED on WINNING as everyone else and you wanna play counselor to people’s problems … get the FUCK out of my sight. You are pathetic, worthless and have NO place here in WCF.
Sarah spits down at the floor at Crystal’s feet in disgust..
Sarah turns from the table and gives one glance at Andre.
Sarah Twilight: If this shit isn’t fixed … and like NOW … winning Trios won’t be your biggest concern, I tell you that now.
Sarah walks from the table and toward the door. She had no intention of listening to this toddler bullshit any longer. Crystal sighs as she watches Sarah leave the building, slamming the door behind her. She finally turns her attention back onto Andre who was still sitting there looking quite annoyed at Crystal.
Crystal Knight: Seriously? Like, can you PLEASE explain to me why me saying that I simply want to put on a good, fair, CLEAN match to entertain the fans, which should be our number one priority, is somehow a bad way to be? Because I really don’t understand what her problem is.
Andre sat there traumatized; He started singing to himself.
Andre Holmes: 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall, 99 Bottles of Beer. Take one down, pass it around, 99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall...
After listening to Andre for a short while, she finally interrupted him slamming her fist down onto the table. An action which surprised even her.
Crystal Knight: Andre!
Andre Holmes: Sorry! Alright, I know how to fix this. I’m going to need extra pair of MMA Gloves, a screwdriver, a large Teddy Bear...and some Magnum Condoms XL.
Crystal raised her eyebrow at the Hardcore Champion, who was seemingly starting to lose his mind.
Crystal Knight: What are you talking about, Andre?
Andre stood up from his seat, and nodded. That argument made him realize exactly the type of chaos is going to happen down the road between Crystal, and Sarah.
Andre Holmes: Crystal. I’m going to do something drastic. Obviously Sarah is pissed at you, and you at her. In order to solve this, tension must be released. I recommend a threesome.
Crystal Knight: I’m not annoyed at her, Andre, I just don’t underst--- wait, are you serious?
As the two discuss the possibility of sexual exploitations as a remedy for the situation, the door to the restaurant FLIES open and a short, yet stout Mexican man comes hurdling through it. He has various tattoos up and down his arms and wears a tank top and baggy jeans. The cap that was once upon his head is lost during his dramatic entrance into the building. Everyone in the restaurant has their eyes glued on the door. Some even stand out of shock or even fear. Right behind the man steps in Sarah Twilight. And as the man scoots backward to try and scramble back to his feet, Sarah places her foot down upon his chest, planting him against the floor. In a loud, clear voice she speaks. Although her gaze is not directed at anyone, it is very obviously clear whom the drastic display was meant for.
Sarah Twilight: This is called … taking care of business. This fuck decided it would be a great idea to slap my ass outside … and now, well … he’s going to find out what the consequence of that is.
Sarah takes her foot up off of his chest and uses it to kick the man right in the mouth HARD. And NOW, she looks directly in Crystal’s direction as blood spurts from his lips at the force of the kick.
Sarah Twilight: You have two options in every situation … either you do NOTHING …
Again she looks in Crystal’s direction.
Sarah Twilight: Or … you HANDLE it.
Sarah reaches down, grabbing the man by the collar of his shirt and hauls him up, DRAGGING him toward Andre and Crystal’s table. She SLAMS his head against the table several times before finally just letting him go as he slumps to the floor.
Sarah Twilight: I’m all about HANDLING a situation … now, you have a fucking CHOICE to make …
Her last, and most INTENSE gaze at Crystal.
Sarah Twilight: You can give me some fucking retarded lecture on why it wasn’t this fuck’s fault that he slapped my ass … and I can place you in the EXACT same state that he is for being absolutely fucking worthless … or you can actually fucking LEARN something and figure the fuck out, how you HANDLE a situation. Because come Sunday … you had BETTER be handling shit … and that’s all there fucking is to it.
Crystal quickly checked on the bloodied man before standing up from her table and getting into Sarah's face. She had somehow found the courage within herself to do this, not even she knew where she had found it from or even what she was going to do in this situation but she wasn't about to let Sarah harm a member of public further, nor continue her rant at the WCF newcomer.
Crystal Knight: What the hell is your problem, Sarah?! You think doing that to him was really necessary?! I don't care if he slapped your ass, you had no right to do that to him! You think it makes you big and tough to pick on the defenseless? Yes what he did was wrong, but you yet again took it too far! And newsflash, Sarah, I am not now, nor will I ever be scared of you. So I suggest you get out of my face and stop yelling at me before I put an end to this and show you just what I am capable of since you just love to doubt me so much!
Sarah heard all she needed to hear and she balls her fist up, fully ready to beat the ever living shit out of this self righteous little shit of a rookie.
Sarah: Fuck it, I’ve heard enough of this bitch’s lip!
Andre quickly stepped in between the two, and even gestured for the bystanders watching to help the man to some medical attention. He did his best to hold Sarah back, knowing the type of emotions. Frankly, he understood where they both was coming from, and Andre put his foot down.
Andre Holmes: Okay, all three of us are leaving. Now. I don’t want police on my ass so we’ll leave, and go our separate ways. Deal?
Sarah turned and looked down at the man she’d just assaulted and shakes her head in disgust. She then has a final parting GLARE at both Andre and Crystal before walking away from them both and again heading out the door. She doesn’t give either of them so much as a further word.
Andre looked at Sarah leaving then to Crystal.
Andre Holmes: Come on, I’ll take you home.
With that said, he took her right hand, and escorted her out of the nearly destroyed establishment leaving the injured man to be attended to by the witnesses, and some of the staff members.
Crystal spent the next couple of hours reflecting on what she had just been through with her upcoming Trios partners. She knew that people would underestimate her and talk down to her, what with her being the new kid on the block, but she hadn't expected that from her own partners. Especially not as harsh as Sarah had been with her, but then she was Sarah Twilight after all so how could she have expected anything less that what she had received from her just a few hours ago.
Since then Crystal had checked herself into what she considered to be a standard Mexican hotel, she imagined that Sarah would be in some luxury penthouse somewhere whilst she was stuck in this boiling hot room which apparently didn't even have air conditioning, but she had to admit that being able to relax for the first time today was nice.
Crystal fell face first into her pillow and tried to forget about her day as she heard the door to her hotel room open and close soon after. She didn't even bother to check who had just entered her room, slightly worried that Andre and Sarah had returned to continue what she thought they had finished earlier.
Voice: Everything alright, hun?
Crystal recognised the voice, it was nonother than her best friend, Bonnie Blue, who had no doubt come to check on her. Crystal had promised to call Bonnie after her meet up with Andre and Sarah, but given the events she had been through and had been desperate to escape from, she had completely forgotten to do so. Crystal sat up on top of her bed as she saw Bonnie turn the TV on across the other end of the room, surprisingly it actually worked.
Crystal Knight: Hi, hunny. Yeah I'm fine, it's just…
Bonnie could sense that something was wrong here, the bubbliness Crystal had usually been full of had seemingly dispersed and she had a good idea why.
Bonnie Blue: How was your dinner? Did everything good okay?
With everything going on Crystal had completely forgotten that she had met up with Andre for dinner, a dinner she still hadnt eaten.
Crystal Knight: A better question would be, did anything go right?
Crystal heard her stomach groan with hunger as Bonnie raised an eyebrow at the young girl and sat down on the bed next to her.
Bonnie Blue: Really? What happened, Crystal?
With Bonnie sitting there next to her and looking at her like that, she couldn't help but feel her emotions swelling up inside of her. She wasn't upset as such, but she knew that it wouldn't take much to make her cry right now.
Crystal Knight: Ermmmm, well let's see, tonight I found out that Andre doesn't trust me as a competitor, Sarah seemingly has some kind of anger management issue, and she enjoys attacking members of the public. All in all, not exactly a fantastic meet up.
Bonnie Blue: Sarah attacked someone?
Crystal didnt answer, she simply just nodded her head at her friend who she could see was now rather angry.
Bonnie Blue: What is wrong with that girl? I'm sorry, Crystal, I should have warned you about her sooner.
Crystal Knight: It's okay, Bonnie, I don't have to be teamed with her for too much longer, right? Honestly, the thing which annoyed me the most tonight is how they think that just because I'm “nice” or a “girl scout”, as Sarah calls me, it somehow makes me less capable in the ring. I mean really, just because I'm not aiming on killing my opponents or whatever does not make me less capable as a wrestler. It's just… urghhhhh… so annoying.
Bonnie Blue: Don't worry about it, hun. I know exactly what you're talking about though, just ignore them. At the end of the day, people continuously underestimating you and doubting you will be their downfall, not yours. Sarah Twilight has always been an unnecessarily aggressive bitch, nothin’ new there at all. As for Dre, I'm really starting to question his actions lately, I'm not too sure what's got into him.
Crystal sat up fully and Looked Bonnie in her beautiful eyes, concern flashing across her face.
Crystal Knight: Errrrrr, Bonnie, that future we visited, it WAS an alternate reality, right? Sarah and Andre won't actually become… that, right?
Bonnie placed her hand on Crystals leg trying her hardest to put her friends mind at ease, Crystal could see that she also had the same concerns in her, she just seemingly handled it better than she did.
Bonnie Blue: I'm fairly certain we have nothing to worry about, hun, but let's just keep an eye on them just in case, shall we?
Crystal nodded her head.
Bonnie Blue: Anyway, tell me about your match this week. Are you ready for that? Do you need my help at all?
Crystal shook her head though she appreciated Bonnie offering her assistance here.
Crystal Knight: Nah, I'm fine thanks, babe. Aside from, ermmmm, obvious issues with my tag partners I am actually quite excited for this match. It is after all perhaps one of the biggest matches I have ever been in during my entire wrestling career. Can you imagine if I actually got through to the finals? How amazing would that be? Sarah and Andre may have issues with my opponents this week, but honestly they've all been super sweet to me since day one. Oblivion is possibly one of the scariest guys in the federation, but he's been an absolute sweetheart to me. I tried telling Andre this earlier and he looked like he was going to attack me right there, haha. And then I'm also facing a guy called Freezer Burn, I'm not too sure on anything about that guy, I mean, the only thing I really know about him is the fact that he'd have most likely asked me out had he been thirty years younger, haha. And thennnnn we've got the returning Night Rider.
Crystal smiled excitedly at Bonnie, who also looked quite happy by the mention of his name.
Crystal Knight: I'm not too sure on that guy either, I mean obviously I know that he was a major star in the WCF a couple of years back with a girl called Denise D’evil, but aside from that I'm not entirely sure what to make of him. I mean obviously he's a returning star so he's going to want to return in a big way, I don't exactly think he plans on losing his return match if you know what I mean, haha. But where has he been and what has he been doing for these past couple of years? See this is where Sarah and Andre are wrong about me, yes I might be a rookie, yes I might be a “nice girl” but I've literally just finished training with one of the biggest and best names in this business, Corey Black. So the fact that they have it in their minds that I am going to be bad at my job and fail to get the job done is just so ridiculous. Night Rider, as great as he once was, will most likely be returning with ring rust. It's nothing to be ashamed of, we can all get that. But I, Bonnie, I'm hot and hungry. I will perform to the very best of my abilities and I WILL win this match. Not just because I want to, or have to, but because I will not now, nor will I ever disappoint my fans. The added fact that I will be able to prove Andre and Sarah wrong and push their doubts about me out of their minds will just be the icing on the cake. This Sunday I guarantee two things, Bonnie… not only will I come out of that match victorious, I will also prove to the world that even girl scouts should never be taken for granted or underestimated. Do I feel sorry for Night Rider that he'll be losing his return match? Sure, absolutely. But unfortunately for him, he's just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I’m sure after the match we'll still shake hands and go out for drinks though. Haha, maybe I'll be the one to prove to Andre and Sarah that their thoughts on how to behave in matches are the wrong ones, not mine. Wouldn't that be great?
Bonnie smiled brightly at Crystal.
Bonnie Blue: That would be, quite interesting. Listen have you actually eaten tonight? You wanna get outta here?
Crystal Knight: Haha, I thought you'd never ask.
And with that Crystal and Bonnie stood up from the bed and prepared themselves for a good night of fun.
