occulo, Gemini Battle, and 3 more like this

Friday morning struck early with his alarm waking him up from his dream of Game of Thrones. The sunlight's radiant rays slipped through the cracks of the window's shielding to temporarily attempt the blinding of his right eye. Andre rolled over, and slammed his hand onto his Galaxy S6 Edge to prevent any more disturbances. A loud bang went off in the room, and he sat up half naked rubbing the crust from under his eyes with the occasional sniffing. Staying at the Marriott Hotel, thanks to the Wrestling Championship Federation Travel team, it was 10:00 o clock flat. Just breaking into the late morning, and he looked to the right side of the room at the narrow passage with the bed, and light brownish painted wall. The bed stand that supported the lamp, clock, his phone, and in that small aisle, opened suitcases containing his in-ring attire, clothing, miscellaneous items plus that double strap he recently won last week on Sunday Night Slam in Montreal, Canada. Now, he has been booked in a six man Tag Team match with Occulo, and new debutant Justin Sane as his partner against the team of CJ Phoenix, Andrew Marx, and Caleb Ronan. When he first saw the card, he immediately thought Seth was too busy drinking all the rum. It reminded of him in the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean" where the dude said, "LOAD THE RUM", Seth would be the guy to abandon ship salvaging as much as the rum with him.
Andre Holmes
Man...I'm going to back to bed.
Not really much of a mornin' person is he? He slammed back into the mattress, and pulled the white covers in a crypt over his body. Five minutes later, the phone starts to ring. An arm escaped from the crypt, and slithered its way to the bed stand to retrieve the phone, and extract it under the crypt. Moments before he emerged from the blanket crypt looking right at the phone to see his ex-girlfriend's name, Kaitlyn. It's been two months since she dumped him, and he's been trying to reach her ever since. Finally, patience is virtue. He pressed his thumb as hard as he can, and the call was answered.
Andre Holmes
Kaitlyn! Oh my god, thank you for calling. How have you been? How is everything? Are the kids okay? Please, I am so glad to hear your voice. I know you're upset, just let me explain.
Kaitlyn Curran
Andre. I don't know what to say but I want to know the truth. Did you sleep with that little bitch?
Andre Holmes
No! Never! I have never even touched let alone even come five feet close to her. I had a restraining order put on her.
Kaitlyn Curran
Then how the fuck did she answer your phone?
Andre Holmes
She broke into my locker room, and went around through my stuff. I was taking a shower while she snuck in. I'm telling you Kaitlyn. She's crazy but she's gone. Thank god.
Silence erupted on the phone, and Andre shifted the sheets away from his legs. He got up off the bed only wearing a white brief. This situation was tense for both of them but Andre wanted Kaitlyn to come back. He walked around the room, his eyebrows in different places, lips rubbing against each other almost creating sparks.
Andre Holmes
Say something, please.
Kaitlyn Curran
What am I supposed to say? When we first met, I told you about the guys I was with, and I didn't want to be around that anymore. Three months later, I hear this shit not from you but from the bitch who called you from YOUR phone. How angry do you think I am?!
Andre Holmes
I know, I'm sorry but it wasn't my fault. Baby, listen to me. That woman needed help, she's a psychopath who wanted everything I have but I REFUSED to let her have my life. I defended you, and I still care about you. I want you to come back, let me back please. I promise to do anything. Anything, you name it.
Kaitlyn Curran
...Anything?
Andre Holmes
Anything, name it, and it's done. Please babe, just come back to me.
Kaitlyn Curran
Okay, I believe you. Come home, I believe you.
Andre Holmes
Thank you.
Kaitlyn Curran
And speaking of anything, there is something I want you to do to prove how much you care for me.
Andre Holmes
Name it!
Kaitlyn Curran
If you really want this relationship to work, then no more being private. The reason I bet she wanted you is because she thought you were single, and hers for the taking. If we do this, we have to go in public. So, the next event you have. I want to be there, and introduced as your girlfriend officially.
He nodded. The one thing he regretted was bringing other people into his work knowing the possibilities of his enemies using that to his advantage to get back at him. Especially if Katherine Phoenix was around, damn well she'd blow a gasket, and do everything in her power to ensure Kaitlyn was out of the picture for life. However, she's gone, and he couldn't think of any prime suspects who would hate Andre so much to even go that far.
Andre Holmes
Deal.
Kaitlyn Curran
So where are you now?
Andre Holmes
Toronto, Canada. We have a Pay-Per-View, I mean, big event coming up, and I won another championship.
Kaitlyn Curran
But wait? Aren't you already Tag Team Champions with Grayson?
Andre Holmes
Yes but I won a singles competition championship. I'm now a 'Hardcore Champion', hence champion of like using weapons, and no rules.
Kaitlyn Curran
So two divisions? Like Conor McGregor tried to do?
Andre Holmes
Yeah but I came out way more successful than he did.
Kaitlyn Curran
I swear. You boys, and your stupid little belts. Okay, well. I have to cook breakfast for the girls. I'll talk to you later.
Andre Holmes
Kaitlyn?
Kaitlyn Curran
Yeah?
Andre Holmes
Thanks for calling.
Kaitlyn Curran
Just get your ass home, I need to fuck.
Two o' clock in the afternoon, and summer was the definition of 80 degrees in Toronto. Andre chose to wear a grey-ish hoodie with black joggers not to mention his favorite grey, and white colored kicks to match along. He entered into a local bar near the Marriott Hotel, and decided to play a little pool by himself. The hoodie down behind his head, and he was in peace for now. Mostly thinking about what he could do against his opponents who were either openers or lower mid-carded. The bar was spacial except for the game section where three pool tables were in organization back to back. The bar section was by the east ranging from wall to wall blockading service from customers. A stage north for karoake, and in the middle of all this equipment were the brown round tables with four chairs each around them. The stench was okay to deal with at best, nothing but mostly old guys or college girls with their frat boyfriends coming to have a good time. Good ol' college days as he remembered. He was busy just knocking the cue ball into other balls to the pockets, struggling with a few but got them all down into a decent fashion.
Before taking the shot at the 8 Ball, he was approached by a group of college freshman girls. The type of sorority girls who would wear their colors, go to Starbucks, party hard, not even do good in their work. Andre placed the pool stick up right with his hands clasped around the tip like a sword handle when they approached him. Honestly, he had one crazy woman going after him so three thirsty ass freshman girls would be a relief.
Sorority Bitch #1
Hey, are you Andre Holmes?
"Relentless" Andre Holmes
Yes.
Sorority Bitch #2
See, I told you it was him. You're my favorite wrestler in WCF.
"Relentless" Andre Holmes
Aww, thank you. That means a lot.
Sorority Bitch #3
Sorry about my friend, she's a huge wrestling fan.
Sorority Bitch #2
Shut up Trish!
Sorority Bitch #1
Jenna, Trish. Don't scare him. He's pretty cute.
Well, uhh, okay. Andre got a little uncomfortable being a thirty-one year old man surrounded by teenagers who aren't even twenty-one. It's easy to go into a bar in daylight but night time is when the defenses are up.
"Relentless" Andre Holmes
And what's your name?
Sorority Bitch #1
Ashley.
"Relentless" Andre Holmes
And what are you girls doing here in a bar? Shouldn't you be in class or something?
Jenna
Yeah but we decided to skip class.
"Relentless" Andre Holmes
Especially when finals are coming up?
Trish
Who cares? I passed all my classes already. Just tired of hearing my professor talk. He's annoying. I barely know anything about him, and he pops out of nowhere to give me a 'challenge'.
"Relentless" Andre Holmes
I know exactly how you girls feel with that.
Jenna
How?
"Relentless" Andre Holmes
Well, I look at it like this. This Sunday I'm going to be competing in Aftermath, our big event out of three that goes together. So, I've been undefeated for six matches straight especially after winning the WCF Hardcore Championship against seven other great competitors who really put everything on the line. However, I came out as the winner, and solidified my spot in WCF right now. So, you have to think. After reaching higher than everybody expected, what is new for me? I'm undefeated in six matches, and I'm a double reigning division champion whose still hungry for competition. All those factors coming in, somebody would say. Hey, let's make him go at it with a champion like Mikey eXtreme or even rematch Teo Del Sol at Aftermath for competition. Instead, hey you've been thrown into a match against CJ Phoenix, Andrew Marx, and Caleb Ronan as a tune up. Whose my partners? Occulo, and Justin Sane. This isn't a match, this is a god damn massacre. Never have I witnessed a body bag even before the rap battle begun.
I mean. I take nothing away from my opponents, they're fine rookies with CJ being the leader whose actually doing something right now with his career. CJ Phoenix is a guy that could either have the potential to make or break it or while reach his glass ceiling that is literally five inches off the ground. That's how I see CJ. I understand how much he takes pride into himself. The way he looks, the way he eats, or talks, or even competes. I admire how seriously he is taking WCF, and by the end of the year, he'll be a champion. Television, Cruiserweight, Internet. You name it. Hell, Tag Team. However, I don't see him as a challenge that could possibly benefit me. The guy's cool, we have no issues but from a perspective, this is really everything I can lose, and everything he can gain. So that alone is what pushing me to look at him, and say hey, I started 'better' than you, and now look where I'm at in five months. I'm one half of the WCF Tag Team Champions, and now the WCF Hardcore Champion. Even though I've been put in a match with Occulo, and Justin Sane, our team has more Tag Team experienced. Occulo is a former WCF Trios Champion, and Justin Sane has got into contact with us to even know what we're up to. We're literally a team of a team that their team wishes to be. See, you're all in a sorority right?
Ashley
Yeah.
"Relentless" Andre Holmes
See, you're a team. Joined by friendship, sisterhood, and trust. I bet the last time one of you got into a fight, your sisters were behind you within a blink of an eye. Why's that?
Jenna
We're sisters. We're like family.
"Relentless" Andre Holmes
Bingo! Exactly, family, and trust. The experience in your sorority holds you together even alone. With our opponents, they don't have that kind of calmness to them to even hold out for the bigger picture. For example, Andrew Marx. This guy, and even CJ Phoenix went too far with each other that the news broke out that Phoenix ended the career of Andrew Marx thus putting him out of action a week before the event came. Now who Seth is going to find to put into the match? I understand they hate each other but opportunities are knocking at the door. CJ recently lost to Tiffany White who is the reigning, and defending WCF Television Champion. You want to bounce back from a huge loss, you beat a former Trios, and United States Champion who runs with the Sentinels. You beat a WCF Tag, and Hardcore Champion whose undefeated for six match straight, and you put a stop to a top prospect in the making. A victory guarantees them a huge push up on the card, and maybe even a shot at MY Hardcore Title. Who would be better suited for that title shot? Andrew Marx. The guy is a smelly, old, stink broken down man who could pass off sneaking into the homeless shelter without even being detected. I understand he had some issues with me on Twitter, I don't really care. All I know is that I'm still here, he isn't. Come to thin of it, he was the dude that tried to disrespect the people to Teo Del Sol. The dumbest thing you could ever do, and he lost to Teo in the Scaffold match. Andrew Marx was the dude who could be looked at as a great guy in the Hardcore division but that one dimensional perspective is just another pathetic attempt to hide the fact he isn't wrestling material.
I don't respect him nor do I even care that he's gone. He was an asshole to begin with. More over, CJ putting him out of action made him a joke of a lifetime. Now even though CJ did what he had to do, worst timing ever. Andrew could have gone after me, and tried to get that proving ground going for him. Maybe this, maybe that. Marx was just another 'maybe' who couldn't turn into a 'sure'. Pathetic as he was, he had some talent. However, now there comes this weird feeling of what is he going to do. We don't know much about his background. Did he even receive proper education? What other skills does he have for a back up when his physical talent fails? Exactly. So you three should be attending classes, getting great grades unless you want to end up like Andrew Marx. Homeless, smelly, hair falling off your head, losing your body, maybe even bugs roaming in your mouth. Don't be like Marx, and think everything will work out in your favor. He was already a loser from the get go so don't follow in his own mistakes.
The other girls looked back, and forth at each other as his words really were an eye opener. Andrew Marx was a really great example of a 'what not to do' for your life depends on it. He placed the pool stick back on the handle on the wall, and leaned on the edge of the pool table with his arms folded. Trish, Jenna, and Ashley's mood changed to a more defeated one. They sat down on chairs near the pool table, and looked back at Andrew who continued speaking.
And as for Caleb? Who? Caleb, has he done anything to prove he's worth? I kind of mistake him as the dude who runs the janitorial section. Not any cliche insults to where he's from, just what has he's done lately. I understand, you're starting out but you got to start out strong. I came in, dominated. I've been on a roll, hanged out with the right people, established myself on Twitter. He was a guy who I thought could put everything in motion but yet has failed to even do that. So now, here comes the question. What can you do with CJ Phoenix now that Andrew Marx? How can you handle the the intensity of this match? We don't have anything to worry about. Occulo, Justin who is ready to make his debut, and could easily dust all three of these men away is hungrier than them. They've been around longer than Justin, and yet Justin is the only rookie I see that is willing to redefine 'hunger', and turn it into success. I got a lot of respect for him, and he's ready to get out there. Unlike Caleb, he starts good but we don't know what he's willing to put on his plate, and eat off the table. It's really a matter of, can he really live up to this moment? A test where every answer HAS to be correct because if he doesn't, he's going to be the reason why he loses. CJ can do well on his own but they're out numbered, and they damn sure don't have the mindset to focus on the win. They're not seasoned like my team. So I guess Seth, my boss, was just drunk, and decided to throw our names together thinking it's going to be funny. It was never funny. This was a massacre. You don't take three guys with major talent, and put them against each other against rookies who are either just learning to show up or getting into their comfort zone. It's pathetic. Like you girls came together not knowing each other yet you're prepared to face anyone who steps up to you at a bar because you're family already. It's like this. We are Fratenity, Sorority. Hell, I'm even apart of my own damn group, Rebellution. Occulo, Justin Sane, and Andre Holmes? It's not a Fraternity, Sorority either. We're just Trios.
Fin.
