Following the news of WCF Wrestler Katherine Phoenix's passing, #BeachKrew LLC. executive and WCF talent Jared Holmes announced the creation of the Phoenix Group, an offshoot of his celebrated Oblivion Foundation aimed at providing preventative mental health care for the underprivileged. At a press conference on Wednesday, Holmes's valet and long time girlfriend Thursday Kerrigan, gave a tearful eulogy to her deceased friend:

Kat was a beautiful woman, full of love and hope for the future despite the horrors she'd lived through. She was strong, and she was hoping to get better before this tragedy. Jared and I are launching this initiative and non-profit hoping that no one should ever suffer in life as Katherine Phoenix did.

The defining characteristic of the life and death of Katherine Phoenix is simple: intolerance. Whether it was intolerance of her mental state, her economic state, or her position of power, Katherine's mental condition was often intentionally exacerbated by others for both amusement or out of simple malice. This is, of course, an all too common occurrence in the United States, where homelessness and mental health often go hand-in-hand. The stigma of our society on those who suffer from mental illness is staggering; it's time we stand for a change.
The Phoenix Group is a natural addition to the Oblivion Foundation's objective: getting those suffering and vulnerable the help they need. If the Oblivion Foundation seeks to alleviate the suffering of those due to their economic conditions, then the Phoenix Group shall specifically seek to help those suffering due to their mental conditions. I am committed firmly to the goals of this organization, and it is our hope that by 2025 we can reduce adolescent homelessness by fifty percent.
